Time travel is extremely complicated. There are so many reasons why it might not have worked. Such as; 1. Monarch was about to leave it on the picnic table which may have resulted in past gabriel not noticing it was there. 2. Past gabriel finds the drive, Emily never becomes sick, he never becomes shadow moth, ladybug and cat noir doesn't exist anymore therefore "strikeback" doesn't happen which is the very event that led to him acquiring the means of time travel (rabbit miraculous), he can't go back in time to give himself the drive. A classic grandfather paradox basically. 3. Many more possibilities which I can't think of at the moment.
What doesn't add up is if Adrien is a senti-monster under Gabriel's control, why couldn't Gabe have ordered him to just give him his miraculous when he found out Adrien was Chat Noir in Chat Blanc? Adrien would have been compelled to obey. Also, wouldn't he have essentially destroyed himself in that same episode when he basically cataclysmed the world, including destroying the rings holding the amok? Genuine question.
It is just the writers. It is like how in the first season (Lady Wifi), the way they try to reveal ladybug's identity is by waiting for her to detransform instead of taking the miraculous off of her. The story and its rules weren't all thought of at the beginning.
Im just sad and happy that we know Adrien, Kagami and Felix are sentimonsters. Like it’s cool for the story but it’s also sad that they have to live life by someone’s choices for them unless they have the object themselves. We always knew that for sure Felix was one it was teased much more than the other two but now that we know in all three from s5 ep24 representation of how they were created. Kagami not so much but yes she is one. A lot of people saying they can just wipe themselves out of existence but I don’t think so, while yes that’s how it would work with the magic of the peacock miraculous but also I take in the fact they used magic the make them they also gave birth to them so I feel like they’re sort of a senti human mix, like they can be controlled but cant be erased bc they’re not full senti like their human side is what’s keeping them from poof
Reading your theory does give me hope that Adrien and Felix will somehow supersede the magic of the Peacock miraculous and not have their existence tied to it

It’s crazy how adrien is a senti monster yet has a mind of his own. But is season 5 finally it was so sad what Gabriel did for adrien 😭 it truly shows he does care for him 😭😭
He has his own feel will completely, Except for one thing. When Each senti monster is created, it has an amok (feather) hidden in an object. When Adrian was created, his amok was put in both his parents wedding rings. So when the parents want to, they move their ring, give him a command and then he has to obey unfortunately. Every senti has to obey the command of whomever has their amok when the holder uses the amok. Unfortunately, Gabriel, his dad, has been (more so in season 4 and 5) abusing Adrien with this power and making him do things that Adrien doesn't want to do and Adrian has no idea what's happening. Adrien really just needs to have his own amok to be set free. Sorry, I know that was a lot😅 but I hope that helps!
I think it's a possibility, but I don't necessarily think that they would do it. Keep in mind miraculous was meant to be a kids' show, so I don't think they would add that kind of complicated concept.

I don’t think adrien could be a sentmonster, as miraculous masks are ment to confuse the human mind, so if adrien was a sentimonster he would have seen through ladybug and all other miraculous’s masks 😅
if it worked like that then the identities of ladybug and cat noir would’ve been found out when nathalie was using the peacock miraculous. senti humans are still humans it’s just that they were born from an amok and unfortunately can be controlled by others
the alliance rings (reforged from the miraculous objects) are used to control and distibute the powers of the mariculouses without drawbacks/recussions. i don't know about this wild speculations of adrien not being a "Real boy".
What I never understood is... Why didn't Gabriel just empowered a doctor to be able to heal Emily? A magically enhanced healer should have been able to at least figure out how to wake her up if not heal her flat out.

I think in season 5 it was said that Emily and Gabriel were expecting a child but Emily's sister couldn't conceive a child and Emily couldn't see her sister in despair so created a sentimonster- Felix using the peacock miraculous.... Ain't sure completely tho, that's my interpretation by watching an episode

Why would he ? There wasn't a single senti who recognized Ladybug's and Cat Noir's identities, so it's obvious the quantum magic works on them too. You don't need to create any plotholes where there aren't any.

Omg this is my favourite part about miraculous ladybug btw its my favourite tv show I knew Adrian was a Santee monster I’m so sad Gabriel is gone and Emily’s back. I’m not sad that Emily is back. It’s Gabriel because he was a big part of the show and now that it’s not there it it’s kind of boring now, but it’s on my favourite show. NOPE INCORRECT! Gabriel and Emilie could have a child but her sister could not! So they gave them the peacock miraculous to create FELIX and then it was broken from there on but Felix’s farther used the broken miraculous and died then Emile used it and got sick and died.

it has only been confirmed that felix is a sentimonster, but if adrien and kagami were one here's my theory: If adrien is a sentimonster (who he probably is) the amok could be on the two wedding rings that gabriel cares so much about that would explain why adrien always obeys when his father rubs his ring and as we saw in one episode (i think it was felix) the rings can be together (to create kind of a bigger ring) and be separated in two individual rings If kagami was a sentimonster the amok would be in her family ring that she is always wearing, we are hinted of that in one episode (i dont remember wich one) where at the end kagamis mom is furios and says sm like you are not worthy of the family emblem and that she will be controling her more and then she takes kagamis ring Felix is a sentimonster but his amok is not on the rings that grabiel owns but in an other ring that hid father owns we can see that in the episode he explains everything, he justs wants the rings to let adrien free (and also because his mother wanted them) (Sorry if my English is bad i am not a native speaker)

@@notyourbusiness99450 right but we’ve only actively seen the peacock miraculous being used to create villainous tools, created out of anger and desire for personal gain. my theory is that the intention behind your creation is what determines the senti. adrien was created out of love and the desire to have a child, therefore what they created was a caring human as capable of love and growth (starting from the womb) as any other. same with felix although he wasn’t created out of the same feelings, thus could explain the stark personality difference between the two boys

I was always confused on why ladybug and cat not dog and cat since (most of the time) dogs and cats are enemies but in the mlb movie (netflox) the ladybug and cat miraculous are enemies (sorta)
because ladybugs are the symbol of creation and luck, meanwhile the black cat is the symbol of destruction and misfortune. they’re oppositional and that’s what creates the balance between them

Adrien's amok object is the wedding ring pair that Gabriel and Emilie wore as a couple. That's the very specific reason why Gabriel took away Natalie's ring in the same episode that Felix reveals to Marinette about his and Adrien's origins
