The questionaire at the Start decides the first Random starter you find; more specifically starters are spread across the Region as Unique Pokemon and they have fixed locations, however, the species are random, so If you find Scorbunny in Team Aqua's Cave in a Playthrough, it doesn't mean that starter will be Scorbunny in the next playthrough, it could very well be bulbasaur, with the exception of the Starter in Route 2, that one is Decided by the questionaire at the start, the question regarding Vegetation, Rain and Heat decides the type and the second question the generation,

16:01 The "o" and "x" on the top of the screen represent your moves. The "o" is a status move (in this case, Pikipek's Growl) and the "x" is a fisical move (in this case, Pikipek's Peck). Also, if you press L it shows you what Pokémon you can find in your current area

As for the difficulties: Normal: "Intended" game experience, main gripe everyone has with it is that once you find one of the many broken builds, you can just coast on it for the rest of the game and it becomes very easy and somewhat boring, also Tanks are a little too viable in this mode and attrition wars that take up to 30 mins can be very common, the main attraction of this one is doing things like grabbing a level 50 breloom and challeinging gyms that are at level 100 Hard: it's like mini dark souls/dark souls-lite , enemies do double damage and you deal damage as in normal mode, Nuzlockes are usually done in either this difficulty or professional Professional: is the recommended difficulty, specially if you are streaming, everyone deals double damage, battles have good pacing, attrition wars are less common and not everything can be a tank, but you still have viable tanks, the amount of broken builds gets reduced and you cant exactly coast on them anymore Extreme Mode: Speed runner mode, Everything deals 4x damage ,the game has 7 Pokemon leagues and 6 frontier facilities speedruns are usually done in extreme mode and end when you reach the battle frontier, current records are a little over 12 hours Master Mode: Dark sould mode, your opponents deal 4x damage while you deal damage as if you were in normal mode, souls-like streamers usually stream in this mode because in this one you have no other option than to find the broken build that helps you with the next gym (spoiler for the first gym, Unaware Bibarel with Defense curl, Defense curl to max def in nosepass, kill nosepass and deal with the last Pokemon with a Max Def Bibarel, that's the only early game thing that can survive that Pokemon because it doesn't care about its rock gem or its swords dance)

Another thing, you can change the music of the game in the in-game options menu to the Pokemon's original games' music , if you want to stream the game you can press F10 to deactivate the games' sound during the intro change the music at your home and then press F10 to activate the music again

How do you play it?

I hate that the game doesn't explain much about which buttons to use. In the first fight, I didn't know what to press. Does anyone know all the action buttons? Is there a manual somewhere? Because maybe I was inattentive and didn't notice.

Wouldnt it be cool if instead of hating nintendo hired the people who made this. If they gave them rights and resources to make a version for the switch, what would happen?
