Fun trivia: The following WWE Superstars have the distinction of holding both the original Reggie IC title and the Oval design. Rocky Maivia/The Rock Triple H Jeff Jarrett Goldust * Had he lived Owen Hart would've been the fifth wrestler to hold that distinction. The following WWE Superstars have the distinction of holding the Oval IC title and the current Reggie IC title design. Cody Rhodes Christian Kofi Kingston Wade Barrett Dolph Ziggler
Great belt I prefer this design to the current one, I feel its more interesting and subtle. Oh and good luck with the house move, I know how stressful it can be, done it so many times myself
Glad You were able to finally get it, I was one of the ones who voted for this on My old channel and as I said then, it’s worth the wait, always been a brilliant version of the Intercontinental Championship, I grew up with it and I’d love to see it return someday
My Favorite version of the WWE Intercontinental Championship one of my favorite Championships belt designs period it was so beautiful I miss this belt very much still use this IC on WWE 2K I love and respect the classic IC belt but I just prefer this and the Attitude version.
I love this belt...I remember this being my favourite belt when I first started watching wrestling and someone owned a replica at a live event I went to with my brother and I literally went up to the guy and asked him to hold it and take a picture with it, the guy was great and let me too! (Bit of a story I guess, great video and hope the move goes well👍)
@hazardf5 love this! Loved the first oval ic that the rock got and then this one! Jericho was the greatest ic champion ever lol great video and belt man!
I kind of miss this belt design I enjoyed the classic return that Cody gave us a while ago but i am slowly getting an eh feeling for it now. wonder how much longer it will be before they remake the mid card belts to have the side plates like their main event counter parts.
Hazardf5 I totally agree with you on repainting the globes the lighter shade of blue, which is kinda turquoise. I would also get a gold tip added to the end of the strap. May I ask why you didn't get a gold tip added to the belt?
I had the money to order 15 belts in 2013 through Millican but never did just because people told me they had been waiting five years for their belt at that point (which would have been since 2008) so I'm surprised you got it so fast.
Just curious, why do you day Real belt? Seems like a replica. Maybe that is considered real? Recently was looking at buying a belt myself and noticed the cheapest ones were 500 cdn. I would assume a real one used on television would be around 25-50k if not more. I was under the impression that you had bought a real belt once owned by Orton during his run. Maybe that is still the case. Thank you
A real belt is identical to the ones on tv, same artwork, detail and materials, e.g. the 24k gold plating. A "replica" are those that WWE shop produce with poorly machine stamped detailed and painted plates. Ring used belts, which go for $8k-20k are the ones used by the wrestlers on tv and are near impossible to buy.
This is my favorite version also, but I'm a big macho man fan , & I liked the title when he held it, personally I think he made the belt more prestigious than anyone except maybe Randy Orton .... As a former champion myself , iv done a lot for pro wrestling, even more than most of these other bums period!!!!?!
@@fireandbloodexotics9807 In the video Hazard says the belt makers have enormous back logs and a few of them are dealing with health issues which are slowing them down.
Was never a fan of this design. Reggie IC was so prestigious I couldn’t believe this changed it. Same with the WE. Should have never happened but at least Big Eagle was solid
Not at all. I prefer the WWE version. The larger main plate looked a lot better than the small WWF one that looked way too small on most wrestlers. Plus the nameplate was a good touch.
