I have been on these since they popped up. 12 minutes on air fry works well. So does frank red hot if you like the hot wing thing. I have 3 bags in the freezer now.
It states Chicken on the package it's dipped in seasonings, whey protein, chickpea flour and egg and cooked in lots of bad for you oils like non-GMO canola, saffron, sunflower grapeseed Etc.
They're hard but don't get crispy and don't exactly taste like chicken. The serving size is also confusing the package says 4 oz but it doesn't tell you how many chicken strips are 4 oz. They also only give you one cooking suggestion which I tried and wasn't impressed. I don't like that they use unhealthy oils.
These are nasty. Cant even be microwaved cuz then theres hard parts inside. They were flying off the shelves when they first showed up at my Costco for half off. Then they werent selling too well after that. Never bought it after the first time.
These strips are NASTY and kind of disgusting because of the whey protein added into the breading. The quality of the chicken is good, like pretty fantastic, but the taste is just ew. Need to coat some sauce to hide that baked whey flavor
Cook them in the air fryer for 7 or 8 minutes at 400 but my fryer cooks from the top so it's pretty much broiled. Gives it a grilled taste and this is coming from a lazy to cook at home chef 😂 I buy bags of these for myself
