Preservation is the most frustrating spec to play at low MMR in solo-shuffle. I use a macro that tells my team to not run away from me when they are getting trained or low HP because of my short range, but it does no good at all. As soon as they get trained they panic and run as far away as possible leading to a loss every time this happens

I'd say this video defiantly helps way more people compared to Gladiator's making a tier list. Having so many alts now than ever before this is beyond helpful to understand the current meta.

Solo shuffle is also RNG based at its finest. You can get a lobby where you win 6 rounds by domination just because of how strong your spec is against it and then land in a lobby where no matter where you look something can lock you down. It just is what it is.

@skillcapped hey guys, just curious why you and so many people mention that being “caught out” in human/caster form on a feral druid is bad when they’re no more tanky or squishy in that form than cat form. Cat gives no innate defensives that I can recall. Stunning them “out of form” means nothing right? Can you clarify? I mean of course not being in bear is different but that’s not really the discussion. They also have multiple off global buttons that instantly take them into cat form in a pseudo power shift style.

could anyone please advise me on a healing class that is the most “passive” as possible? to just stand behind the column and heal and that would be enough to just take the gladiator and that’s it. without any assists in the form of a cyclone for a druid, or a target damage assist like a dс, but you just stand there and heal your teammates. I know it sounds stupid, maybe, but I don’t want to take some kind of top, I just wanted to take a gladiator and play for my own pleasure as a healer class. p.s. as far as possible of course

I play a lightning bolt ele shaman in solo and am bouncing between 1950-2050 and it is rough. Get trained all game and no one wants to peel for you then they get mad when you run around a pillar to avoid melee mongos.

Hey. I'm a Havoc DH Player sitting around 1650 rating rn. While going through lower ratings, I will say DH is an amazing spec. I do suggest getting enchants tho bcuz enchants paired with full conquest gear make u really great at lower ratings and it's straight amazing.

1900 fistweaver here, i personally think that midrank fistweaver is very meta dependant wether it will be good or bad with less skill. For instance, melee heavy lobbies, lobbies with BM or Demo locks are a lot easier due to multiple targets to hit increases your healing output. Also worth noting that even though fistweaver is more easily offtarget cced, it is susceptible to less CC due its nature to stand near cleave. Blinds etc are not a thing in those lobbies. I would put the fistweaver for this season a bit higher tier :)

I’m extremely casual, come back every year or so, play about a month and get multiple classes to rival or duelist. Just resubbed and even wearing my duelist set from 10.0.7 as an affliction lock can hold my own vs multiple melee running around in World PvP with insane amounts of HP. Just understand how your class works and you’ll be fine.

My 1.6k DH does double the damage of my (not seasoned, but not a tourist either) 1.3k feral who's tanking warrs, palas and dks in bear form, yet dies while her healer is in line of sight and spot healing her. It is so, so sad... I am usualy able to pull off 4/6 win rounds but knowing the amount of labour behind it, staying alive, throwing the right offrnsive and defensive clones, monitoring CDs otherwise no dmg, landing kills because of my clones while the boomie is standing there wondering why I can't tank two plate on my butt. It's exhausting and the damage doesn't really compensate all that...

I have druid, monk and shaman sometimes with monk i die in 1 kidney shot 4 sec and i cannot do anything. Should i go for druid? You made guide for splo shuffle, what about battlefround tier list?

As a mage, healers below around 1700 struggle to keep me alive. The difference above around 1700 is night and day. I end up being able to not kite so much and put out damage. I end up top 1-2 dmg every game. The healers below around 1700, I am dying all game, kiting. They even want me to stay still out in the open against something like mm hunter and get mad when I los the hunter. I am getting one almost one shotted all game long, which is around 30-45 seconds long. They can't keep me up. But they want me to stand out in the open? They have a different understanding than I do. Above 1700, games last much longer and it matters less if I hug a pillar against mm. Usually below 1700, I see healers tanking cc in middle of maps, no where near the pillar on a big map. A teammate will be die and I look at the death log and see they weren't healed for 5-8 seconds before their death. The healer wasn't in cc. I think the healers are amazingly crap at low mmr these days. Also if the other dps on my team is melee, they always want to train the enemy that is sitting on me all game. Sometimes it's way easier to kite the guy training me if no one is on them. I can kite them for days taking no dmg and they eventually give up and go after the other guy. If my melee team is training the guy that is training me, that guy training me is hitting me. I can kite the teams other dps for a long time but eventually with no cc or reason to be afraid, they do what they want. Eventually they have a good chance of connecting on me. This leads to both enemy dps being able to hit me at the same time way easier. I think at low mmr amazingly again dps are crap. TLDR: It's harder as a squishy class at low mmr because healers and dps tend to be crap. Once they get a little feeling of positioning, countering cds, peeling and when to cc etc., the game opens up and gets way easier for squishy classes. We all have to start somewhere. When I play a squishy alt at low mmr, it's a different game and it becomes more of a solo effort. The good news is that it is easier to pull off hero plays where you set something up that wins the game.

Feral is unenjoyable rn. Being forced to cast cyclone to do some damage, instead of using only our catform abilities like how it should be. We are squishy af, our heals worth nothing, out only good def has 3 mins cd while most of the burst cd-s are 2 mins. Feral was always among the hardest specs, but now it's just ridiculous. Most of the time it was bot tier on pve, and now in pvp too. The whole spec is just a meme now :(

Kind of surprised it has taken you guys this long to make the connection that the average player is not R1. Hearing their perspectives comes across as idealized and sometimes, out of touch. Their experiences are built around playing with others who have much better awareness than those of us who aren't good enough to carry two backpedaling clickers. As an example, I had to claw my way to Gladiator and I barely made it. I still have no doubt a R1 would wipe the floor with me even if the matchup favors me.

So let me get this straight, we establish early on that classes relying more on utility are not as great in lower ranked lobbies. So how is Arms an A tier spec when it relies almost entirely on utility, timing, and burst windows. In the video you guys mentioned how theres nothing stand out about it. Theres no immunities, only a three minute cd thats weak against magic. Not to mention it seems to be suffering a little more as of recent with other melee specs receiving buffs. Based on the fact I haven't seen an arms warrior in shuffle in god knows how long I would say its definitely not A tier at lower ratings. Even cross referencing the data can have misleading outcomes.

What about battlegrounds tier list?

Aff locks 3rd highest burst DPS and #1 for steady DPS(for ranged)... wot 😮 the maff ain't maffin

Survival will have you at 100% win rate till like 2k lol, it's seriously so OP vs dumb people, but ones who save the right CD's and trinket are so so much harder to deal with

i think you all are out to lunch for example i do about twice the damage as MM over BM hunters.... wouldn't waste a cent on your advice. this place is full of awesome players of your chosen class and spec look them up.

Finally! Still legitimately overvaluing casters, but finally a more real tier list. Being clear here - because most lower rated lobbies are 3-4 melee, the melee will end up loosing to melee a lot which skews their winrate downward. Most of the stuff is in there otherwise!

The solo shuffle game mode is still completely unplayable for "most players" (people with jobs / without 8+ hours a day to spend on WoW). Healing is a good option to get gameplay but an extremely inefficient option to climb for a rating goal because it takes much longer / many more lobbies to climb than on DPS (this is a mathematical truth, not a personal anecdote). We should honestly just throw this game in the trash and implement a new game that does this amazing competitive format justice. That's what the StarCraft community has done with new RTS games and sadly we're going to need to do it as well if we want to save this competitive format that we love.

Oh noez!!! But 1100 rated ppl on forums say that WW is immortal and has too much defensives!!! Why statistics indicate that they are one of the worst surviving melees in the gaem? Probably all WWs are just bad?

Your wrong about boomy, if played right they can survive better than most ranged and can kill very quickly I don’t agree that boomy is B tier. Most people suck at boomy is why the numbers show them dying a lot. I main boomy and I can out live most ppl unless a war or rogue is stuck on me all match.

Ranked PvP is awfull. It's unrealistic to even get the tmog armor set so I gave up playing it.

Imo i can 1v1 anyone in pvp as a ret and have about a 9/10 win rate. Its hard dealing with healers tho is my issue but no shot ret is bad..
