India will always remain close to our heart because that's our origin but let me tell you that in general people are polite, honest and disciplined in uk, you can approach government officials without fear and trust them and that makes a whole lot of difference and remember being in London in uk is a different experience than being outside, home rent, nhs waiting and traffic eases as you move away from that area!

I have been in the UK for nearly 16 years now and I spent 7 months in India over last 2 years. I am really tempted to move back to India with frequent visits to UK (due to my business). India is way more advanced than UK in digital space and the opportunity is great. Having said that, I am from Hyderabad and if you want to buy a house and live comfortably there you need a minimum of 10cr so start with. As much as I love my motherland money speaks there lot more than UK. Keeping all the facilities discussion aside (which UK wins), if you are kind of a person that loves being around family and thrives in social pressure then it's India. If you would like no one to care about you and don't mind staying away from loved ones then UK. What are your personal thoughts? Moving or staying? Cheers

@@ninagill1407 I have got a project in hand which will take approx 1.5 years to complete. After this I will definitely consider to move back. My wife is not all happy staying here as she feels our home is in India. And yaha kuch nahi hein. Na family , friends , your food , no help and no easy apps were you get everything at your door step without any extra money or minimum value. Life is tough and on top of that there is no ending to taxes . Getting a driving license is like a battle to be won. And if you win that battle then another one starts of buying a car which again if you win will lead to another set of outgoings like road tax , Monthy instalments and your driving insurance which is a bomb. For me I have to pay another £150 a month for a parking as I stay in an apartment. So to conclude you feel that you are staying here just keep paying out month after month. You don’t get anything in hand.

Ashika, I have been watching your videos to arrive at a decision on moving to the UK. With all the points you mentioned, it surely feels that Namma Bengaluru is absolutely the best barring the pollution & traffic. But would you recommend me to make the move to the UK for short term (3 to 5 years) to explore with my family of 3 to Birmingham with 90k salary barring the variable pay and also as a single earner. I really don't have any reasons to even quit my current job and move, but the only thing drawing me is the experience we as a family can get by moving there! Tumbha Dhanyavadagalu in advance :)

@guruprasadkm Do not move to UK if you are earning well in India. Do not get advise from people who have less experience than you. If you will move on sponsor visa your salary will be not variable as you can do only permanent job only. You will watse time if you are already earning good in India. Now days people do not pay just for foreign experience but more on what kind of project you have worked. If you are working on good project than do not change unless you get more challenging and high paying. If you get same job title but less challenging project it can ruin your skillset unless you are a self learner. If you are not happy with project , you are getting better project than go. UK has everything except happy family life. Just your wife and kid is not only family, you enjoy time with relatives and friends more after 40 or 45 and this the time when UK become boring and lonely as your children grown up in UK will have british mindset and they will behave like britisher and will have no problem putting you in old home when you are and old they may visit once or twice if your future son-in law or daughter in law allow them. UK is a country not know for culture of carrying the burden of care of old parents. If your future duaghter in law or son in law will be from India than you may live with your children. I do not why I see the Indian kid born and grown in UK having so less confidence in their attitude. They will so confidence in their attitude when they will visit India because they have to show off thier relatives and cousins in India but here in front of british kid they look having lack of confidence, feeling of minority.

I'm ethnically Indian but born and brought up in Britain. My parents sent me to a fee paying private school in London in the 1980's and 1990's and even there the food was shit. I ate everything that they served which was the usual: pie and chips, fish and chips, steak and chips, curry and chips, chips and chips 😂😂. Nonetheless the food that I got in school in London just tasted processed and flavourless. Everything in Britain tastes processed. I always preferred Indian food that either my mum made or I had in India when my parents would take me. The food in India is just so much more richer in flavour. People genuinely seem to care about making good food in India. Atleast, that's my observation.

@poojatandon9880 do not look on just surface level. British are very good on surface level in office when talking with other. Just think where it will be more easy for your child get married and have a good family life. You will be not with your children always. When you will be not there who will look after special child. Does it will be easy for your special child to get marry in India or UK and have his own family who can take care or sibling who can take care. See the thing from all angles. I agrre UK government provide better support and in India government do not provide such facility but India has better chance of providing suck kid better family life. In India family and relative are social security. In UK family and relative are not social secuirty so government step in to provide this but government cannot help you to make your own family where as in India scoiety do not provide you money security but makes you capable of having a good family of your own who can provide security. Sorry if I offended you.

UK is good only for limited time. If you are 25 years when come to UK , it will be good for 15 to 20 years to work here. But do not stay here permamnently. Your child born and raised in UK will be completley different from children born and raised in India. You will have very lonely life when you are 45 or 50 years old. Unless you are not a real millioner your children will still end doing part time job in UK during univeristy education. Your life will become boring as your neither proper Indian nor proper british. Yes if you love lonely life after 50 years and want to be lonely in last 10 years of life than stay in UK. Your children will put you in care home and they may visit once or twice in a year. The reason is if they will not put you in a care home their realtionship will break because you daughter in law or son in law who will also born and raised in UK will not accept and force your son and daughter to put in care home. Do not listen to these youtube bloggers who just for views give you wrong advise. First try to live a UK life in a british way and then judge. Most of Indian coming to UK live virtually in India as mostly they will hang out with Indian friends and evrything looks so good but these people cry in old age and realise how great is India for family life. Uk mein na accha family life hai or na hi santan sukh and this will repeat with your children also. Do not listen to these youtube bloggers and make your own decision. One thing which I have noticed here in UK is the Indian children who born here in UK do not looks confident like a british kid. Thats why I dislike staying in UK for long time. Jis samaj mein ye soch ho ki kisi larke ko girl friend nahi milegi jaldi agar wo apne parents ke saath rah raha hai, us samaj mein kya family life milega logon ko in old age. If you are OK to face these than yes UK is heaven for you in other things.

@pratik8678 11 месяцев назад
Yes India has cheaper medical costs compared to UK and no waits usually. For poor people there are government hospitals which can treat you for much minimal costs. What you said about UK being small should actually work in favour for UK since it should be easily managable knowing your population is less. Now if there are more people coming in UK it means UK needs to better its medical care.
@YouAreJel

For comparable salaries India is better. Maybe even if you earn half as much in India it is still better. But of course the average Indian probably earns 5 times less and you can see this in all the health statistics with the life expectancy in the UK being a whole 10 years more than that in India. The video is probably comparing the free NHS healthcare in the UK to the private healthcare in India but of course there is also private healthcare in the UK. If you have enough money there will be amazing care with no wait times. You just have to decide what's best for your situation and the salary/costs you will have in each country.

@suseeln 11 месяцев назад
@@pratik8678 India is not cheaper. The medical care in UK is free, for 98% of the people who live here. UK has far better medical care than India. India stands below 100 in the ranking, while UK is above 20. Just look at the life expectancy and Covid deaths.

For rest of the other ppl who doesn’t earn that fancy salaries in India, International school fees and private healthcare is really expensive..!! They cant do shoppings or keep maids..!! If an youngster from a lower mid class family get an offer in UK even for £60k salary, its a life changer for him/her and their whole family..! Both in terms of money and quality of life. I understand that it's a personal choice and priorities that one should consider while moving to another place. You have your own experience which you are explaining in this particular video. From my perspective it's missing many major aspects such as work life balance, minimum wage, ease of travel to Europe, etc... One should ask very simple question, if someone is earning 20 LPA INR in India and offered a job of 60k GBP per annum in UK, will he/she take it? I think 99% of people will take it. It's easy to speak while in UK and not in India🙂

Hi Bhargav, let me explain. I love both India and the UK. That being said, the UK isn't for everyone. This isn't me discouraging anyone to move, this is me discouraging people to move without doing the right research. 20Lakhs pa guarantees you a comfortable life in India, you can hire a cook, a cleaner etc. At 60k GBP, you'll probably not be able to afford these things in the UK. It depends on the life you want. Some will take the experience of living in the UK over the extra help, others won't.
