Installation of the M220 Rear Differential Skid and Pinion Guard as shown on a 2021+ Bronco Rear Axle. Installation is nearly identical for the M220 Gladiator and Wrangler rear axles, and takes about 30-45 minutes typically. Watch the video for install tips, torque specs and more!

Thanks for including these install videos. I just ordered this as a result (and the Halloween special). All part of the planning for my trip out to Colorado in June.

I see some design improvements over the one I got for my gladiator. That third bolt holding the nut plate would have definitely helped. And those notches on the back for the cover bolts. I wasn't able to get a torque wrench on two of the lower bolts. No doubt there was some feedback. Good job.

Jeezus. This would have been good to come out when you first introduced this cover. Doing that way, is a lot easier.

Getting our videos out closer/in tandem to the release of products is definitely a goal of ours now that we're making videos!

Does any fluid drain out in the installation process? I’m just wondering if I should get a gasket and fluid just in case it breaks the diff seal somehow.

Thanks for asking! In my experience; if you are only pulling the bottom 6 bolts and not touching the diff cover you won't lose any fluid. The seal usually takes a bit of a tap to break free after all 12 bolts are out. Your results of course may vary!
