I deleted my rear seat, but wanted my car to still look like a car on the inside. Insert SMGSpeed.com's rear seat delete kit. Today we checkout the product and perform the full install in hopes to keep the #LethalCamaro looking good.

I feel like they could’ve made it better to be honest! But it reminds me way back when I had a Honda crx I did the same thing but made it myself. It definitely makes it look better!

Slick set up. My last chevy ever was a 1997 Z28. Loved the car except after the warranty ran out problems started one after the other. Computer , fuel pump, clutch and so on. Oo plus the poor design steering wheel with cheap design even broke on me. Other wise was one car I did enjoy driving.

RE: spare tire for a long drive ( 2018 SS ) will any small spare fit ? will a front 20" rim roll on the rear ?? What is the best option ??

LethalGarage or just use your free roadside assistance. That’s GM thinking of saving money, the towing will be cheaper then putting in a spare. Their excuse saving weight. But who tracks a car with their spare tire anyways.

@@Lethalgarage Thanks I just bought a house in Henderson NV , a long way from the mid west , 1500 miles of not much . I was putting in a tile floor , or I would have been at the Las Vegas race track to say Hi !!! I asked the chevy dealer , they had no answer ???

@@Lethalgarage Thanks. Sorry, I was drunk and multitasking. The link you posted to the product page answered my question. No doubt the back seats in a 6th gen are worthless but looks like this kit removes the ability to use the trunk pass through, which is a hard no for me since this is my daily driver. Have to look elsewhere for my weight savings.

You should show a view from the trunk to hopefully see that bad backing is totally hidden. I would think it would be, but still want to see a view from the trunk.

The seams are hidden by design. Unfortunately there isn't a way to make them without a seam, we do however minimize seams by using one piece of carpet per panel vs 2 or more and none are exposed once installed. Some of our competitors don't even cover the back side/bottoms. We feel the added sound deadening and overall finish are worth the extra few ounces of material, and luckily the base ones have only seams on the bottom, and the rear section only has seams again where they won't be seen even from the trunk. $300 for a couple sheets of plastic and carpet that you could have paid $30 to make it yourself?

If you’re that type of DIY person, more power to you. These are cut to fit and not plastic. Was worth the cost to me to not have to fuss with it. Best of luck to you.
