Rear Tail Gate Gas Strut Replacement 80 Series landcruiser 

Great vid 👌 me got barn doors and gee u got to slam them to shut correctly pisses me off , mate ive tried everything there still a bugger , luckily ive got the old school rod under bonnet love them , yer every other car ive owned the struts failed on hatches and the bonnet had a broom stick living on board always 😅

Don’t suppose you’d know of a replacement option for these that lifts the door a bit higher when it’s open ? I’m 6 ft 6 and gotta duck when doing anything at the back of my wagon even with it being lifted 😢

Are you going to replace the gas struts under the bonnet too. I just replaced the rubber seal around the back door because the water running off the roof was getting behind the seal and making the carpet wet.😢

Amazes me when people put up with blown struts for ages ha ha. They are cheap enough and so easy to replace.
