the most trick mod I have seen on a 4wd !! The likelihood of at least a mud problem would probably be a rear escape so how awesome is this, and super clean!!!

Could really use more detail on the part where you run the wires up the frame to the battery. Do you need to run both wires all the way to the battery, or only the positive? Can the ground be attached to the frame?
Good question. I personally was not run this amperage thru the frame. The power cables will get warm as it is, so I think you're just asking for problems by running it thru the frame. Maybe someone will correct me with their practical experience.
How would you do this differently for 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 that is a Pest truck? I ask because sometimes I get stuck in mud out in the country and cannot pull forward to get unstuck.
I recently purchased a used Gen 2 Raptor which has this. Unfortunately, the truck did not come with a remote for the winch and I am not sure how to operate it. Any advice? I know I can purchase an aftermarket wireless remote from Warn, but other videos say I would have to reconnect a transmitter every time I wanted to use it, which does not seem convenient based on where the winch is.
Yeah I'm waiting for them to release one for a gen 3. The rear is the noticeable difference on the Gen 3 as it has to account for the 37 in... So the rear bumper has that slight longer curve then a gen 2. Gen 3 also has a rear generator perhaps that will eliminate the need to extend the wires to the battery.
Splice the wire? No... Replace them with a longer, larger wire. At the very least DONT USE stainless for that. Stainless is a terrible conductor of electricity

You could use a standard lever-clutch operated winch, but with the box on it, you could never actually freespool it. I suppose you could leave the bottom cover off and reach under there. Or just power line out the winch line every time. But you’d also need to think about how to connect your remote.
