Reason why Running Man doesn't choose a new member 

솔직히 가장 좋아하고 이사람이 우승했음 좋겠다 싶은 멤버는 유재석이었지만 이사람이 어떤 재미를 줄까 어떤 걸 보여줄까 등 가장 기대를 했던 멤버는 이광수였음

안뽑는거 못뽑는다는거 다 맞는 말이지만 지금은 아직까지는 이 맴버 그대로가 좋은거같죠...ㅎㅎ

Adding a new member in would just add a new person with a brand new set of personalities. No one can ever replace Kwang Soo. Hell, no one can ever replace Gary, either.

I am rewatching RM from episode 1. OMG the transformation of LKS is amazing and we have YJS to thank for that. He was so quiet and soy back then. Always getting interrupted when trying to say something. Always getting his nametag ripped off easily. He was invisible almost. His journey on RM could be seen as one any fan can walk in life. From relative obscurity to someone's prince. Thank you LKS for being on RM and making everyone laugh for 10+ years ❤️

KS left a big empty space since his last episode. The remaining members are doing their very best to fill that gap. Adding another member shouldn't be an option atleast not for now. As a solid watcher, I can see how they're doing fine. The last episode(564) was so much fun. Ofcourse, wouldn't blame others if they find the new concept boring and far from the concept and theme before. I do too, at times. But still I can't get myself to skip even a single episode because apparently Running Man has become my greatest escape from all the piled exhaustion and stressed I've had through the whole week. RM makes my week complete. Even now without LKS, without adding a new members, let's just keep on supporting them. Trust the remaining members and the production crew, Bopil PD has so much plan for the show. Wait until there's no restrictions anymore and see how they'll give us those tour and city races again.

We all know now that Lee kwang Soo give the RM an Excellent Show in Good Terms. So he might be tired for some reason , I understand that circumstances we all experiencing a hard life,works and time. We all Love you Kwang Soo! !!! Get better and Get well soon!

Here's my take. Kwang Soo is irreplaceable. There is no one that can fill those shoes. That being said, if and when RM does get a new member or members, please all fans foreign and domestic, let's support them. And if RM does go away eventually, as sad as alot of us will be let's support that too. The other members are not getting any younger and they have injuries. Let's worry about their health as well.

I have loved sechan and somin since the very beginning and I'm sure I can start to love the new member if they decided to recruit again. But honestly, Kwangsoo's place better be empty. Because obviously no one can replace him, and the chemistry of the members now is great, I don't think they need new members. They are great as how they are now, and I will support them until the end.

At first i also had a low expectations for soomin and sechan, but i never said anything bad about sechan and soomin, and now we see that they are amazing additions to RM. Now, its not a surprise if the pd is afraid to recruit new member after the shit international fans gave to the new members. People fix your attitude.

No one can replace the old RM members like Song Joong Ki and Gary and the latest Lee Kwang Soo. I will always love RM either way around. With new member or no new member, RM alive in my heart. It will take some time to adjust, not only the RM members but to us (the fans), I just hope that the fans to not being so judgmental on the new member (if there is any) and please don't compare them with anyone. Each members are unique and distinctive. Like you and me, we are different in many ways. Let's be fair and given them some room to grow and develop their chemistry and roles. I ❤️ Running Man

tbh i get that every member in rm are working their hardest, but ever since kwangsoo left i no longer found the program fun or entertaining to watch. I used to look forward to every running man episode, excited to see his silly antics. Without him I have moved on and running man don’t even cross my mind anymore. This video just happened to pop up in my feed and I was curious about it as it mentioned kwangsoo.

Toxic fans don't deserve a new member. That new member will be traumatized even if that person is as nice as IU. They're better off watching the members drop off one-by-one with no additions until the show ends.

They're doing their very best to make us laugh every episode and if it's hard for us when kwangsoo left, what's more for them?. The only thing fans can do for them is to support them in every other way. Don't be spoiled and hating fan just because you don't like what they do.

I'd rather call it "adding" not "replacing". I mean, referring to them as replacement would be mean and ya'll would agree with me that no one could ever replace someone's memories and habits.

It's honesty because of the hate comments they got because of Kwang Soo's ankle injury. If they didn't send any hate comment, Kwang Soo will still be in Running Man

The PD knows they can always have guests. I bet most of the members who have been there for years all have injuries of some sort and they are about 10 years older, that must affect what they can do. The amount of running around buildings or in outside locations to rip off name tags, or diving from heights etc. declined significantly. Also, after a while, doing the same thing every few weeks becomes less interesting and novel. I love the show though; it makes me laugh every week. I liked Infinite Challenge and Two Days One Night as well. It must be hard for a show or actor when their career depends on public opinion, the public can be pretty unpredictable and fickle. I hope the PD will take good care of the crew as well. Without them there would be no show, they're important too.

Kang Han-na would be my favorite choice to join the cast. But, I would prefer it to remain an open space in case LKS heals fully and wants to rejoin. They may not want to jinx anything by mentioning him returning, but it feels to be like LKS really didn't want to leave deep down but did what he thought was best. Running Man had 7 members for a good long while so it'll be fine with just seven. however, if they do decide by next year to add a new member then id love it to be Kang Han-na. Also maybe they should try and book some guests to stay for a couple of weeks and do some specials with them like the UK and Switzerland trips.

I love watching running for its original theme, a 'running' program... But yeah i'm not one of the avid fan.. As a viewer that watch the show as for the original theme of the show, yeah i've been not watching it constantly since the quiz theme ep released.. N i've always thought that they should just change the members to more active members... But i also know that fans favor rm members as much as an idol... So im just thinking if this show still going on likt it is now, yeah avid fans can watch the members as much as they want, but because there aren't new generation of rm fans, the show will die soon same as idol group disbandment... I have always kept this in mind even before Kwang Soo really did leave the show, and even after he did. But there is moment in Episode 497 when I think aggravated KS's injury so much more, since it was still healing at that time. But ofc KS wouldn't show it during that time cuz they were still filming, but I know (as someone who has had an ankle injury before not from car crash but from playing basketball) that any sudden and forceful movement from me, hurts too fcking much that I would literally have to sit down for like 2-3 hours before I can say to myself, I can walk from here to there without feeling any pain.

많은 한국 팬들과 해외 팬들도 이광수님의 하차에 굉장한 관심과 슬퍼함을 느낄수있고 또한 전소민님의 합류에서도 자기들은 비난했으면서 새 멤버 영입하자는 사람들은 이해가 안감. 영상에서와 마찬가지로 당연히 런닝맨에서 이광수님의 존재감이 굉장히컸는데 새멤버가 영입 될 경우 당연하게도 그에 대해서 비교는 엄청 할게 뻔함. 또 보필피디님도 멤버들과 합이 잘맞는게 방송에서도 잘 보임. 그래서 새멤버 영입은 필요없는게 당연하다고 생각됨. 2011년부터 보기시작한 주말예능 프로그램을 없어지지 않게 모두 도웁시다.

Anyway they are good in number they can even manage through the guide of the whole crews and directors, but they can't continue always be just the members, one after the other show must have a guest to join them to highlight the RM with different atmosphere show

I'm really late but I don't understand why people think that recruiting new members is equal to replacing ex members? Like in a way, yes, to fill in the empty position they left behind but obviously not in terms of their role and identities. If only more people think that way, the hate situation JSM got wouldn't even happen. Honestly, I kinda hope they'll recruit a new member soon. I like to see a new and fresh face, and if there's a new member, there'll be new contents, and we can see how the chemistry between RM members and the new member develop. There'll be so much potential in developing ideas and stuff like that.

the problem is our expectation.. dont expect replacement to replace the one's left .. but if we're looking for a personalities to blend in well with other RM members,, there's a few names.. For example Lee Da Hee, Jo Se-ho, Ha Do-kwon, Lee Sang-yeob etc.. these are few names who might make our monday more cheerful

I started watching Running Man clips on RU-vid recently because of Jeon Somin. I've never watched RM before but now I love it so much. And it's all because of Somin. That's why I couldn't understand at first when people said that she was hated.

the thing is with the somin haters they dont hate her because of her personality or anything ,its just she got a lot of hate just because she have more screen time than jihyo that’s it 🤷‍♂️ . we know how big ji-hyo fandom is and somin got the bad end of that . i mean if you compare between old rm and new rm their episodes it is not the same i mean their context are the same but what i mean is the game . old rm got a lot of action game and doesn’t really talk a lot so jihyo shine at that cuz she really isn’t a much of a talker , latest rm is mainly about the talking and sometimes a lil bit action , somin is a talkative as yjs and kjk so she got a lot of screen time where’s jihyo doesn’t, that is the reason somin got lot of hate but sechan sure got em haters also but he obviously not getting the same treatment as somin because jihyo fandoms just want more jihyo screen time instead of somin .

why? if they suddenly add a new cast member on the show rght after KS left that would be quite a mistake. But if they want to put a new member i would say add them after a couple on month. 3-5 month. Tbh I don't really care if they add a new member to show to help RM. But it could be a double edge sword tbh. Either it's gonna make the rating skyrocket or just gonna make it plummet to the ground. For example YSC and JSM u could see how hate she got from the people after joining RM. But after a couple of month they began to love her more than to hate her. But pls ask the fans 1st before making such decision like doing a voting or etc. Don't just suddenly an article come out saying a new member will be joining RM. That would be super maddening. At the end, I think it's best if KS can come back as a member. Even though it's slim.

No need to add a new member until someday there are loud voices from the crowd suggesting a name with a big amount of mentions or votes. But it would need a long time to get there. For now, just stick to the existing members.

My another worried is that the remaining old members might be retired in a few years later. Maybe 1-3 years left, considering their physical conditions and age factor. If they at least can survive to stand still in this program about 1-3 years as mentioned, it would be the very best achievement for all members and staff. Because there is 2 options if this happened: search another new members, or end the show? Both of them have each risks, so let's see and hope for the best decision.

Whether or not a new member is recruited is not important. Yes, they can make do with the current batch but there is lack of zest of late. Maybe because of the pandemic, the shows are now constrained and confined unlike the enthusiastic gusto as experienced during the early days of RM. Injection of new ideas on how to make the show interesting again is as important.

Toxic fans are killing the show. I agree that no one can be replaced but if you guys want the show to go on, there must be flexibility to allow new people to join and allow the show to continue to grow or move in a new direction. If the show comes to an end, you guys should take the blame as no other show will be able to replace running man.
