You have serious street skills and a personality to match. Anyone can be a keyboard warrior and throw petty insults at people with the guts to put themselves out there. And knowing you took special needs classes actually adds to it my son is in special needs and he is just a bit slower than others but is just a normal boy other than that and him seeing someone go from there to a RU-vidr and skateboard makes him so stoked just to get older cuz it shows him he could do a lot just has to put the work in and you show that everyday you've become a hero man you got me from sitting down and just playing games to me getting back on my board and relearning to skate again so thank you man. I love how you DONT plan your videos. I adore your videos because I feel like I’m actually hanging out with you guys and getting to know the real, non scripted versions of people. You guys are being yourselves and it’s a better style than any other skate videos I’ve seen. The whole fisheye compilation is ok but feels pretty late 90’s early 2000’s. Your solid gold as far as I’m concerned. You’ll blow up slowly at first the the ol RU-vid algorithm will explode you into higher numbers.

Dude, your titles and thumbnails are fine. They're clickbaity but honest, more than you can expect from most RU-vidrs. I think it's pretty common to grow a beard and only trim/maintain it once or twice a month, looks normal. Your clothes and style help me appreciate your skating even more. We're the same age but I can't even ollie anymore without breaking a bone in my foot, so you doing all the shit that I want to do fills a gap in my heart. My favourite thing about this video is how everything is amazingly colour co=ordinated. The top and the door nearly match perfectly, even the light switch is the right tone. Dan's been working on this visual improvement game to levels I didn't know exist.

I've always loved the format of your videos and I like seeing the small changes made video to video. The fact that you're so transparent is one of the reasons I started watching. You're videos definitely make me feel like I have a whole squad with me skating at a park or spot goofing around and having fun (the best part of skating). Ome of the videos recently you made where you weren't having a good session bc someone stole your setup was neat to see. Please don't change your videos dan, your real fans and genuine skaters love your videos because they feel like the videos we always wanted to make with our homies. The on the fly nature, the up close camera, all of the random s*** that happens through the videos makes it even more genuine to a lot of your audience, I guarantee. I watch your videos for that reason, they feel real and they feel the exact way you said you want them to feel, just you out skating with your homies having a good time and just having a camera along with you

I was terrible at organization until I organized my backpack and made a specific place for everything. That’s the key. It’s a lot more satisfying taking the extra second putting shit where it belongs and “hooking up your future self” so you’re not wasting time looking for whatever. When that item is out, like scissors for example, you’ll go “that doesn’t belong there” and put that shit where it belongs. It’s weirdly empowering. I fucking love your videos, it blows me away that I get to watch skate videos for free. I had only about 5 videos when I was a kid.

I'm just a random mid-30's dude on the internet, but I had the same kinda story with high school, special education, graduated by the skin of my teeth, flunked college twice and barely made it to a degree. And the extreme messiness, always losing shit, it's like... yeah, dude, I feel ya on that. I am 100% not a doctor or anything, but like... I would really look into getting screened for ADHD. It often gets misdiagnosed, or downplayed as being a "small thing" or whatever, and a lot of people just fall through the cracks - especially skaters because we have a LOT of drive and perseverance, we'll keep pushing even when something is like biologically much more fucking complicated for us. That whole attitude of endless self-improvement. But shit like... scatterbrained, talking fast, super messy, misplacing shit (aka forgetting it was in your backpack), that's all like textbook ADHD shit, and ADHD is like... a genetic neurotransmitter thing. Dude, I skated 3 days in a row with a boxcutter in my pants pocket and had no fucking clue, and I guarantee that fucking thing is still in there, every time it's just like "okay, I'll put that away in a minute" and I get distracted and it goes right back in the pocket. So like, as someone who's also a grown-ass man who is dealing with similar shit that just... keeps happening, somehow... decade after decade... I get how fucking tricky it can be, how unintentional it is, and how it can snowball out of control the second you look away. I don't think it's because you're lazy or whatever shit people talk about that, you're not gonna get judgement from me, and you go at whatever pace you need to build the life that's functional for you, that makes YOU happy. I know you're open-minded with mental health stuff because I've heard you talking about meds before, so I just thought I'd mention it because after being misdiagnosed like 3 times, it's starting to make my life make a bit more sense and maybe no one connected the dots? Being yourself is the true way to finding peace and to be genuinely happy who you are. People wish they were “happy” but don’t understand when you simply be yourself and are genuinely just content with your entire life without needing to concern over the little things it’s the truth of living. People tend to stress over events that aren’t even happening in front of them so that makes (the thought causing you stress) immediately unworthy to even think about unless it’s something in the present or maybe a day in advance. We as humans should always be thinking constantly about what’s happening in front of us, what we’re doing and if it’s important but when people overthink things eventually it leads to bad problems.
