A lot of people have a major culture shock when moved or get stationed in Warner Robins. A good place to raise a family but no social life or activities. 😕😕😕

I live in Warner Robins bro and it is great! I'm a Navy veteran and I have traveled the world. It is quite and everything shut down around 11; keeps the knuckle heads away! We got good wholesome fun here but If you want to party party the interstate is down the road 😊

Warner Robins has a few gnats, if you want to find gnats, snakes, mosquitos and flies go to south Georgia around Cordele. The worst place I have ever trained in the Army was Ft. Stewart, uniform soaken wet from sweat, then mosquitos, it would cool down about 1 AM. I flew out of Robins in July to 29 Palms for 3 weeks 105 degrees no humidity (Out there) wearing NBC suits. When we flew back into Robins and they opened the plane door the Humidity was so bad when we unloaded I felt kind of nauseous.

Welston Trail/fountain park has a pretty decent setup. One end of the trail has workout equipment while the other has a playground, baseball diamond, volleyball court, and a couple areas to have decent sized get togethers and if I’m not mistaken there’s a couple of grills out there too. And a pool they open in the summer they also just renovated the basketball court but took out the tennis court (that never had a net) to add another basketball court. Overall it’s not too shabby.

I really enjoyed the 5k trail on base.

Traffic on the main two roads Watson blvd and Russell parkway are packed non stop. If you like to eat out Watson is the best because it’s all fast food everywhere. Other than that heat and humidity is ridiculous in the summer.

I've lived in Warner Robins for 35 years. Everyone started moving towards Kathleen Bonaire area to get away from what we consider "Old Warner Robins" because the riff raff is coming down from the dreaded Macon. Which has a higher crime rate than Atlanta. But now those nice areas are starting to go down hill fast. My advice, go somewhere else. In the next ten years there will be no nice areas left. After Kathleen and Bonaire go, Perry will be next. Which already has a history of being "Okay".

I like your channel and have read some of the comments and you do a good job of responding in a professional manner. I've spent a considerable amount of time in WR and the gnats are pretty bad but I find them to be in abundance anywhere in Georgia so I've learned to not wear certain perfumes when I'm at outdoor events. Although I wish the area had better options for shopping (where are the boutiques and malls with premium department stores?) I like the restaurant choices and love that it is not an area full of bar and club crawls, but, to your point, I do find myself a bit bored because I am used to premium style movie theatres that cater to those over 21 who prefer a dine in movie experience. I also enjoy bowling arenas that have an area for live bands and WR pretty much closes at 9 so that's not happening. However, there are so many places in Georgia with an abundance of bars and clubs to hang out so I like WR to just have a bit of quiet after a long week of traveling and performing. For people who want to point out the crime coming from other areas, you have to look at the data which is based on the population of a given area, types of crime, and overall percentage as compared to the state and national level. I'm from a suburban area just outside of the city limits of Richmond, Virginia and while our area has low crime we do experience more incidents since the pandemic. Point being that you can find crime in any area, some more than others. You just have to look at the type of crimes. As a performer who is considering moving to WR, I like that it's a bit less "noisy" and for those who are on here complaining about it being "too Christian" I'm sure there are other places available to live in Georgia for those who don't like having neighbors who are good hearted decent people who care about having a wholesome quality of life for their family and friends.

Warner Robins need a downtown Warner Robins.

Oh and they have a huge drug problem there. No one really likes to talk about that though.

Anything that you want to do that is "NOT Christian", you'll have to venture out of Warner Robins. The bars and clubs are overly limited. If it's still open the Whiskey River night club in Macon GA is a really good place to go to, and it's pretty safe (Although it's country music kind). You won't find any Casinos in Georgia. Your best place is offshore near Savannah GA or go to Tampa Flordia Hard Rock. Gambling is legally in Georgia, except for the lottery tickets sold by Georgia. You may get locked up for swearing in public. The Police are EVERYWHERE. They love to catch people speeding! So, in Georgia... Do either the speed limit or less! They also have super speeder tickets if you do so many miles above the speed limit can add to your fine of $200!! SO... WATCH YOUR SPEED while driving in anywhere in GA! Warner Robins has very heavy traffic and idiot drivers, so keep a distance.

Beautiful area with nice homes.....but so darn boring. No hiking....trails...mountains....parks...places to jog...scenery.....just houses and shopping.

I would like to add that Warner Robins and Macon is lacking a public transportation system, not many new houses and less diverse than other many cities.

Warner Robins Georgia is an international city. The citizens live well together. The average humidity is 47% and yearly rainfall of 47". We have four seasons here. Warner Robins is not designed to be a clubbing city. Crime is low. You have many choices within 1.5 - 3.5 hours driving to club you young booties off! Atlanta and Destin, Florida. There's many things to do close to Warner Robins. It not a big city. This city has mostly become a retirement area now. Warner Robins is a wonderful place to live. Where you live is all up to you and what you make of it. 🙂

I wonder if it’s as humid as Orlando in the summer. Orlando is brutal in the summer.

Accurate to the teeth. Don't let these locals steer you away with their opinions, trust me I've been living here for half of my life and I think they need to step out of their basement at least once in a blue moon. Good place for restaurants and shopping, not much else

No1 knows what their doing and plenty of times I will bring business to a business they turn me down as if there not experience enough to handle a job. Warner robins is to slow to catch up with the demands of a city people are moving out of big cities coming to small less expensive cities that's not equip to keep up with normal everyday living

You’ve forgot about the mosquitoes, Churches (utterly overwhelmingly strong Christianity). Yeah, gotta drive 30 minutes to Macon GA to find any good bars or clubs. There is a craft beer bar next to McDonald’s near Kroger closer to i-75 called Just Tap’d that’s pretty good. Stay away from Olive Garden across the street from Just Tap’d as they had a cockroach infestation. Long Horn Steak house is a much better experience compared to Outback Steak House, Both Pizza Hut and Papa John’s got me sick while I was there... although never has any issues with Domino’s pizza, Top Wok has really good Chinese food (probably cause no teenagers work there!), don’t go thru Dairy Queen’s drive thru!! Make sure you watch them make your food!, if you must go to Caption D’s... go to Perry GA for it. Overall, you’ll be much safer to travel to either Byron GA or Perry GA for Good food. Smaller towns tend to do better with food than the larger ones in Georgia! If you ever get to go to Savannah GA do go to the Warehouse bar and order a Jerk Burger! Best burger in the whole America!

I live in Warner Robins Your describing the humidity as a problem? So towns 20-40 min away like Macon or Perry has better humidity? Lol 😂 The gnats? It’s called the south smh 🤦‍♀️ We do have alot of bars, not just a few. This isn’t New York City or Miami. Just because you don’t have a huge club scene means nothing. How the hell is that a dealbreaker when moving somewhere? Dude get on….

uh i used to be married to a guy that his family lived out by the base their property kept being damaged by planes flying too low over their house you could practically see people in the windows of the plane it was so low but it was damaging the foundations in that neighborhood and they tried to force them out and didnt want to offer what the houses were worth either. i think they eventually settled because the gov declared it unlivable for future generations its a ghetto now

I have to disagree with you on most of your complaints: First, Warner Robins does NOT have a gnat problem! You do not have to go around holding your hands up in the air to distract the gnats from attacking your face! Also, the scene you posted of the gnats was very misleading as it wasn't from anywhere around here. It wasn't even a picture of gnats. You ought not upload videos of other places and use them to describe how bad Warner Robins is. That's dishonest reporting! As for the humidity..., anywhere within a few hundred miles of the coastline will have high humidity. If you think it's bad here, try moving to north Florida. As for the high heat, it's only bad during August, but most everywhere else also gets hot during the summer. Summer tends to do that. You said that almost no one likes to live in Middle Georgia. Well... If you don't like the heat, you can always move up north and shovel snow all winter! Most northerners I've known, after one winter in Middle Georgia, would rather live down here than have to put up with extreme cold and snow every winter up north. It's also not fair to call Warner Robins 'dead'. The number of bars and nightclubs basically depends on how many people are willing to support them. In the general area, there's enough bars and night clubs to handle as many people as want to go to them. Warner Robins has lots of other things to do. In the general area we have the usual baseball, football, tennis courts, swimming pools and such. There's even a huge swim park out near the Interstate. And we have several small but nice parks good for taking your children to. Warner Robins also has many senior citizen activities programs. Even senior citizens can have a good time around here! And why, just because you can't go door to door bar hopping, why do you say Warner Robins has nothing but a few city buildings? The general area has many outdoor shopping centers, an indoor shopping mall in Centerville, two major Walmarts and two smaller Walmart grocery stores, golf courses, model airplane and other clubs, etc.. I love Warner Robins, I've been here since 1958 and it's a great place to live.
