Been here 30 years, it's mainly reason #7 for me, but still staying for now. I see no reason (other than political) that we don't have a Costco. I would move to north ga if I moved at all. All good reasons listed in this video for different people, but I'm sure the same reasons apply in thousands of towns across the US.

Absolutly agree with you that applies to a lot of cities and towns across the nation. And statistically speaking WR is still having more people moving to then moving away from. The Costco thing is on a lot of peoples mind :) I think you are spot on with the political side why we haven't gotton one yet. The rumor always seems to float around but nothing really happens.

I have never seen as many per capita inconsiderate drivers than on Watson Blvd (GA 247). They just don't go and hold people trying to go the speed limit. I have never seen this kind of rate of drivers not paying attention or caring about the people behind them. Moreover, there's enough of these people that no one does anything about it. Like safely passing. It's wild.

Crime, taxes and corrupt government are certainly major reasons not to move there or to leave. Warner Robbins was never meant to be a big city with big city amenities. So far as the weather goes, don’t blame it, you knew it was going to be unbearably hot in the Summer when you moved there.

I mean to be honest no city was ever ment to be a big city right from the get go. Those cities develoved into bigger cities over time. When it comes to your weather statement you are wrong! When we had to move here there was no information about the area at all to find online. That's why I started this channel almost 5 years ago to be honest. When it comes to your first part, yes our taxes have been raised all 4 years that I have been here by the county and that bugs me as much as you but a lot of that is an underlying issue of the US goverment and the inflation that we had over the last 3 years. The other two things I can not really speak to.

Do you know when the Tommy Stalkner Aquatic Center is opening? It looks like it's ready to open. It's across from Rigbys Entertainment Complex. It has 2 or 3 heated indoor heated swimming pools and will be open to students and the public.

We haven’t been here long. For me it’s not having a Costco and easy access to Atlanta (McDonough makes it a nightmare drive). Otherwise we are happy with the schools, weather, affordability, etc.

Georgia will always have its problems, my father waa from Georgia and he knew that. He joined the Navy in 1972, had me in 1990 and retired three years later. He passed away in 2018 sadly.

One main road in and out of town. No array of jobs, just minimum wage ones. Too many restaurants. Not affordable

I love Warner Robins it has a mall,2 cinemas,a major waterpark Rigbys Water World,2 Walmarts and soon the Tommy Stalkner Indoor Pool Complex.

Well, the mall is pretty much half empty :-) there should be done way more with that mall to be honest! But yes, Warner Robins has a lot and I think we actually have more than two Walmarts :-) and we are getting a BJ’s Wholesale store kind of like Costco

Well , let them go to Drinking, DUI, rudeness, lots of traffic. Let them be in bumper to bumper to get to the huge mall’s ones you get there , good luck finding a parking spot. I reside in Orlando, Florida can’t wait to leave this State. Thank you for your input. God bless you.

Orlando is a cesspool of liberal values and a microcosm of the left inside a mostly right state. Disney (recent... not full history) has poisoned this city with people expecting free everything. You can move a few miles into the suburbs and not have that experience.

Key words-NOT ENOUGH!!! Warner Robin back bone is the AIR FORCE BASE. Need a car to get to point A to B. The Marta transit system in Atlanta is pretty GOOD. I grew up in Warner Robins and YES there is no community connection in Warner Robins plus no social life. One more thing before I go the HUMIDITY 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

An update on Rigbys Water World their gift shop is open and they're targeting July for the opening of their large olympic sized pool which will add a pool rock climbing wall and 2 diving boards. The pool will go up to 12ft deep.

Some things I'd like to see come to Warner Robins cause I hate driving in Atlanta. A large marine aquarium similar to GA Aquarium. A Zoo similar to Wild Adventures in Valdosta or Zoo Atlanta.

@neox9369 I am with you on that part I think Warner Robins had numerous huge opportunities for growth and it never happened. Just taking consideration supermarkets, we were supposed to get at Costco that didn’t happen. We were supposed to get a Lidl that didn’t happen either. But somehow other cities are going to get that stuff done in a heartbeat. Instead of large that want to be here we are concentrating on an inner city project that is needed but first of all will take forever and second of all we don’t even know if it’s gonna work out there on commercial Circle

Compared to other areas it’s actually still pretty cheap, every city has crime and statistically WR has gotten a little worse but according to the crime maps majority of that ist north of Russell Parkway .

The reason why I don't like Warner Robins is that I'm tired of Happy Hour Service Center in Warner Robins, GA and Falcon Park Four!!! Not getting new people and being stuck here and that's what is frustrating me especially them being conservative and don't have the resources like they do in other cities!!!

The cause of the traffic congestion is an unknown percentage of distracted drivers. I wonder if this learned hopelessness about the congestion. Why bother, I can't make a difference, so I'm going to only look out for myself. So many people go sub 40 mph in the passing lane. I've visited many places of this size. And of course every community knocks their local drivers. However, this is objectively unusual. At least 1 standard deviation above in terms of congestion caused by poor driving.
