Helloooo!
I'm finally back with a new video. It has been almost 2 months since the last upload now. I have been working on this for around a month and a half now and I finally finished and was able to upload today!
I wanted to make sure that the whole video was respectful towards non-kpop fans who might be watching this, since I don't want to offend anyone by making this, only make everybody understand each other a little better.
Let me know if your friends and family have had other reasons than these ones and if I have enough I might make a part 2.
Also very sorry about the use of the robot voice, but there was a lot of text and thought it might be a bit much to read :)) hope you understand.
So here you go, I hope you enjoy!
Thanks for watching!
~ Emma

This video really touches my heart because my family and friends don’t like K-POP and it’s hurts me when they say “she’s probably watching K-POP again” or “oh K-POP is dumb” ext. ok I understand it’s not what you like but why can’t you just accept what we like it’s helped me because I’ve liked K-POP for about 3 months now and I was sad because I had lost my old friends and I always got weird looks from people because I was weird and different but after I found K-POP I became so much more happy I felt like a new person it’s helped me get out of the dark spot I was in. I understand it’s not for everyone but like can’t you just accept what we like because people on tiktok be doing there dances 24/7 do we care NO but when we say one thing about K-POP there like “just shut up about your K-POP already” how do think that makes us feel we feel hurt when say that we love it and it has helped us so just learn to like what other like. Now I’m not saying you have to like K-POP but like come on just accept us for what we like its no different then American music.

i was just saying to my aunt and friend, my other aunt just came in my room and said "this one (taeyong) is definitely a gay asian" first of all i'm pansexual, secondly that's racist because beauty standards aren't the same everywhere. to my kpop stannie aunt i was saying how non stans never see the good side of kpop or fandoms, and they don't see the work idols put it. if someone isn't a fan of it, that's okay because it's not for everyone. kpop artists (twice, got7, astro, day6, txt, nu'est, monsta x, nct dream) are all having comebacks during this pandemic but i don't see western artists putting out albums to make their fans happy. another thing is that no one every says "im glad they make you happy." i was talking to my step dad the other day when he saw my phone case (pc of taehyung) and said "that's definitely a girl" i'll shut up now but it really hurts when they say stuff like that
@jailyn6517

also, not saying western artists aren't great, because i love panic! at the disco, twenty one pilots, fall out boy, my chemical romance, green day, cavetown, halsey, post malone, melanie martinez etc, but just making my point at how hard idols work to make us happy

Kidch40s I’m sorry that you’ve had such a bad experience with Kpop fans. But the VAST majority are not toxic. Those who are toxic are generally extremely vocal, and so it seems like they’re more common.

The last bit made me cry, because before I started really getting into kpop (my friend introduced me in the fourth grade and I really got into it at the end of seventh) I came out as lesbian. It really hurts seeing death threats about K-pop because my grandma on my dad's side has sent death threats to me, my cousin (who is also lesbian) and her brother (who is a trans male) saying "we are not following God's plan and we deserve to die and go to hell." When that happened I turned to Kpop as a coping mechanism because it makes me forget everything bad that happening. And when I found out I have PTSD, panic disorder, social anxiety, and generalized anxiety disorder, along with ADD I just was emersed into kpop, the fun videos making me laugh, the music making me feel touched, and the fandom treating me like family. I don't look at the groups I stan as lovers, I don't want to marry any of the idols I stan because they are like brothers and sisters to me. Sometimes I absolutely "hate" them because they are embarrassing or weird (like I do with my actual siblings) but when I see how much they go through I get put into "over-protective-older-sister-mode" (because I'm the oldest girl). I stan like five groups, and all but three of them aren't very big, and I've watched BTS, Stray Kids, and KARD (the three groups) become as big as they are today, and honestly I feel like a proud sister. What I'm trying to say is that everyone has their own preferences, but just don't hate on people because they're different. People have gone through a lot before they've liked something and just because they like kpop doesn't mean they are a koreaboo.

The thing with the language it's very true bc there are lots of people who don't understand english and still like english songs! And talking about the merch, when i enter the kpop fandom i was amazed that you could buy an album with photocards,photobooks and all the beneficts they use to come with for almost the same prices as western music albums that only come with a cd.

this argument is honestly sth only US-Americans (and maybe some Britains) could come up with. For most countries, it's normal for English songs to be on the radio and for people to listen to English songs even when they don't understand them. For me before I learned English in school, it was the same.

Something I completely don't understand about people ( im not just talking about k-pop but everything else..) , is how they spend A LOT of there time watching, commenting, disliking mean things about something, when they could use all of that time to actually do something they like. I'm just like 'why are you even here?'. If you don't like something just stop watching it and go watch something you really like/love cause you're literally wasting your own precious time and life doing something you hate..? I remember when I first got into kpop my mom said it was just a phase and that I would grow out of it, but thats not true. I've been listening to kpop for 7 years now and it is the best thing that could have happened in my life. As I got older I started looking into the lyrics more and I've found artists and fans that I can say I've built relationships with that will last me a lifetime. Its not something that we can help, we go to kpop to get away from all the hardships and relieve stress from our daily lives, it becomes a habit and good or bad, you have to admit it can bring about the best experiences in your life. This is why I don't understand how some people can hate on kpop fans. No one knows I listen to kpop unless I tell them. They're always so surprised because I don't force it on them or anyone that I'm a kpop and that I'm "so nice!". Yeah, its because all kpop stans aren't like what the media and stan twt portrays them to be. I started listening to kpop when I was 9 with super junior, before I went to middle school. In middle school, everyone was opening up about stuff they liked and when I told them I liked kpop they would say "thats cool" or something along those lines, but now when you tell someone you listen to kpop the grimace or cringe or back away from you, the prejudice is real. We aren't demons, we arent kboos, were just people listening to music that cheers us up.
@thiccdomark6031
@thiccdomark6031 4 года назад
This is so true. It’s sad that we get portrayed as you said, demons, when the majority of us are literally the sweetest people. I don’t get it. I usually don’t hide it from people, and I try my hardest not to force it on them, and still I get weird looks for it... It’s hard being a kpop stan these days ~ Emma

I'm very hesitant to tell people that I love K-Pop. Because somehow, everyone is an expert about it and knows how bad this industry is and "OMG, how can you support that?" @luciev4914
@luciev4914 4 года назад
The worst about this narrative is the hypocrisy behind it ! People judge kpop on things they might praise in other domains, as ballet dancing for exemple. I mean, tough training system, for young people, with a lot of chance to never have any recongnition, and interpretating songs and dances they may not have created themselves... that's fit as much ballet training as kpop training system. But in ballet it's thought as a good thing, as art. In kpop it's thought as a dehumanizing process... ahh the double standards ~

@@Tessa_Gr Ah, I know the video and it is great! But you see, they (gonna exclude my man here) really don't give a shit about K-Pop in general so they don't want to educate themself on a subject they don't care about (but love to shit on). When I try to educate them they think I'm just defending this bad bad industry because I'm an obsessive fangirl and won't even listen to me, love that for me :')

With that being said, a few years ago I tried listening to kpop, but the only groups I ended up liking were Sistar, Mamamoo and EXID. I have tried listening to many others to the point of knowing the members' names and all that, but only those 3 have clicked with me. Sorry I’ve chosen to bump down the notices so go read those before leaving a comment, but I have to get this off my chest: This past week or so I have been reading through comments on this video and I just want to let you all know, how cool and inspiring it has been to be reading through your comments of your stories with kpop or how you related to this video etc. These comments truly moved me, and I have shed a couple of tears over them while reading. It saddens me that locals don’t know that people go through fire with kpop, and get out of it because of kpop, and still don’t give a damn. They don’t know how much it hurts to be told that it sucks, or even something as small as, oh he’s not that cute. .... yeah I don’t know, I needed to get this off my chest before it swallowed me whole. I have read most of these comments saying that they lost friends for liking kpop (which I highly sympathise for y'all, I hope you are ok), but it's true in my school but also COMPLETELY THE OPPOSITE. We have both sides of the spectrum. Some people choose to ditch people for them liking kpop, and I've seen multiple people that try to make friends with me (I have NCT badges on my bag, so they can pick me out pretty easily) by PRETENDING TO LIKE KPOP. I've had a few things that happened that I still laugh at till today. For example: 1. Was having a casual convo to someone when they asked what music I liked, and I said 'oh..... I like Kpop' and then they did the fakest squeal ever and 'fangirled'. So then I asked them who their ult bias was and paused... 'what does ult mean?' And then I came to the conclusion that they were a new fan (I was also very new then, about a month in) and told them what it meant. They then proceed to say Mark, I ask them which group (cause there's alot of groups with a Mark), 'BTS'. I then just yeeted myself out of the convo as fast as I could. 2. Songs play in-between lessons in my school, and this time it was an EXO song (obsession to be exact) and one of my 'kpop friends' screamed that this was their favourite song, was questioned by one of my actual kpop fans who couldn't pinpoint the name of the song, and waited a while before hesitantly saying 'i want you'? yEET. 'you don't actually like kpop, do you?' my friend asked, and then they speed walked away. Let's just say we didn't get to our next lesson on time because we were rolling around on the floor, dying of laughter. 3. This one was very ironic. Told one of my friends I liked kpop, 'ew that's gay, get away from me you're spreading a disease' and walked away. The table I was at laughed for a good while (they already knew, they don't like it but don't give a single damn about it). I'm a fellow kpop fan since 2017 and it helped me through A LOT. That time I was going through maybe the worst psychical pain I have ever experienced and maybe.. I wouldn't even know if I was still alive if I had never found it. It made me more comfortable and ngl it helped me find the way to my true sexuality. The kpop concerts that I went to were all the most humble and sweetest experience in my whole life. Even if I was there alone, without a friend, there was always someone to take care of me and be interested in me. The concerts per se were also amazing because you see in every group how excited they are and how much they love us (the fans). Though, with all those good experiences, I have also had bad experiences. Of course I also came across toxic kpop fans in real life, which were sadly locals so I am not connecting to the community of my city anymore because of that, despite many being still nice and friendly to me of course. However, I experienced the most pain due to people disrespecting me or hating on me bcs of liking kpop. Sadly, even "close" friends have been like that to me. Most of those are obviously not my friends anymore because most do not try to understand. Which is really saddening. I really don't get how much hatred you must have in your soul to immediately make rude comments when someone talks about kpop maybe once every 2 weeks. I DON'T GET IT. And being in a group chat where they send some anti kpop stickers everyday is also SO sickening. Like, I am not into anime. And most people I know are. And so were most people who hated on me immediately when I rarely mentioned kpop. I could not talk with them about anime and I do not like anime whatsoever but did I scream "UGH ANIME IS TRASH" whenever they talked about it? No. I shut my mouth and let them talk. They could not do the same for me. And people who are like that do not deserve to be my friend. (That may sound selfish but at one point in your life you just realise that you have no time allowing toxic people to stay in your life) Sorry for this long ass comment. But especially the last 2 mins of this video hit me hard. Especially seeing those comments you showed there...

This is amazing, at the end, when you mentioned that kpop is therapeutic to us and it has helped us a lot I couldn't help but start crying. I haven't been a kpop fan that much, but in this year and a half kpop gave a lot of good things to me: -I started to have self-esteem -I found my 6 soulmates who also love kpop -I got couraage to start dancing and singing seriously -And last but not least: I now love myself because of these idols So yeah, for kpop fans, kpop is not just music, pretty faces and performances; for kpop fans it's a home and a healing place where you can cry or laugh without being judged.

Reading through the comments I feel like kpop fans are the most accepting and tolerant people you could find. I guess it's because we know exactly what it feels like to get hate for such a stupid reason as liking a genre of music and don't want others to feel the same. And I also believe we might be very sensitive/emotional/empathetic people in general, even before getting into kpop, right?

I really think that they just have this mental block against it. To be honest, not until the last few years have Asians really popped up as a people that 'brought game' . I'm middle-aged and grew up without these cool groups (I'm Asian American to boot). The media didn't do us any great favors either, in fact, they were quite damaging. People just don't look at Asians as being cool enough to sing and dance well. It's a shame, but ultimately their HUGE loss. :)

Okay this is my personal opinion/story on kpop- I have cancer, I look different. I had too sacrifice my right eye to live and it saved my life but the cancer didn’t go away, I still have active cancer cells and radiation particles and anything bad could happen at any moment. I always tried my best to live in society, I got a fake eye that I put on everyday so that people don’t get freaked out, I even used to cover it up with my hair. It was really hard because my school is very toxic and I just always felt people staring. I’ve always felt insecure about my looks in general, and it got worse when I kinda went into this mental state and stopped doing any of my old active activities and stopped talking to a lot of people. I gained a few pounds and I’m still average weight for my age but i somehow found myself as disgusting especially with comments from my family members every now and then. I kept my feelings to myself and just kinda went through with it in my own so my family wasn’t aware of how it felt when they made comments on how I looked or acted. They didn’t mean any harm or anything but I just took it harder then expected without them knowing, Kpop has made me comfortable in my own skin, and I’m proud of who I am and happy because of it. It was a long process but I’m now starting to love myself, accepting my social anxiety, and got myself some really caring and understanding friends who support and love me and what I love, Of course I get made fun of it every now and then that I like kpop, but it hurts when people look down on the thing that means so much to me. I makes us kpop fans feel rejected in some way, like we don’t belong. It doesn’t hurt to just be happy that the person around you is happy, it’s not hard to say -“ I’m glad that makes you happy” I know we can be over dramatic and annoying sometimes but you just gotta nicely set some limits if needed instead of putting us down for our interest. And heck yeah we get upset when you called them gay, even if some us love the interaction between members- it’s kinda like how you can make fun of your sibling but if someone else makes fun of them you go off on them. My mom still sees kpop as a weird thing and I still kinda hide it from her even if I know she knows what I listen to, it’s because she doesn’t know what it’s done for me and I don’t think she will ever accept it. She thinks I’m being over dramatic, in my town there are very little kpop fans, but as many as we find we gotta stick together and support each other. My friends lowkey get upset when we are walking in the mall and a fellow kpop Stan notices my BT21 AirPod case or my stray kids keychain and just become best friends with them in seconds. As hilarious as it is, it just shows how much of a family we are, even if we are strangers we help and reach out to each other. I apologize if I’m going too far, or writing too much but I just wanted to get my story out there as well as a message.

omg yes, music is music there's doesn't have to be a boundary its a universal language that anyone can enjoy why should language barriers have to determine whether if music is good or not. if it vibes with a person that should be a valid reason for liking different music. its odd to see how English spoken music is so normalized everywhere around the world but liking kpop isn't treated the same. like how is it that everyone loved singing and dancing to despacito when most people didn't even know the translations to it. if despacito can be reacted like that then why cant kpop/music be like that too, there are hundreds of songs that deserve recognition that have good vibes but don't get it because of the general consensus that kpop is weird and other excuses people like to say abt it. also kpop and western music is very different when comparing the industries, there's so much effort idols go into making a new album and working for comebacks and etc. i could go talking more abt it but that would just be an entire essay itself. like yes i respect western music and love it as well but kpop is just a different level (+the other subgenres connected to it i.e. k-rock, ballad, edm, r&b) *lolll i typed this so fast i didn't check for any grammar mistakes but point proven anyways

This video is very right! Especially the part about it being therapeutic for fans, it was like that for me, too. I started stanning kpop in 2017 and my first groups were Monsta X and BTS (discovered in that order). Just weeks after I began to listen to Monsta X on a daily basis my parents told be that they were going to split up for a while. This was hard for me, since I was younger than I am now and had never imagined my life without them married. After I found out I went upstairs and cried, but was ultimately calmed down by one of the most emotional songs for me, Shine Forever by Monsta X. I had found kpop through my siblings’ babysitter who was a stan. She was always very nice to me and even comforted me about my parents when I told her. Now my parents are back together, much stronger than before, and these songs still hold a very special place in my heart. Not all of them were when I was going through bad spots, too. I like kpop because it’s so dependable, it’ll be there through ups and downs. I can remember songs off the top of my head that have a happy memory connected to them - walking with my dad, mowing my grandma’s lawn, etc. Sorry if I rambled, most people just don’t get what it’s done for me.

Ok so literally I’m spanish and lived in Spain for half of my life. Whenever I got in a single car no matter what radio was on they would at least put on one English song and everyone would sing along in gibberish. Same goes for English people. Nowadays who HASENT sung along to despacito (which makes me cringe by the way). Also most people who sung along to those songs didn’t even bother looking up the lyrics or even learning the language the song was sung in and half of the k-pop fandom have learned Korean or are learning Korean (which yes I myself I’m learning Korean ) or make lyric videos to make sure they sing along correctly or understand what they’re saying. I do not mean to offend any one this is just my opinion. Also when you put on the opinion “they can’t rap” I do not kid you I straight up shouted “GIRL HAVE YOU HEARD AUGUST D!!??” 😂 Sorry for any spelling mistakes lol 😊

I thank BTS for being strong when haters are here. I thank them for giving me the confidence to stand up to them. There are many boys in my school who absolutely despise Kpop especially BTS. The most surprising part is that many of them are actually Korean. One of them posted about the situation that happened with Jungkook and none of what they said were true. It didn’t really bother me until I saw how many people supported him. I chose to write something back and of course, he disagreed. Those boys chose to say bad things about Kpop in front of me like oh BTS has no boy fans or Kpop sucks or no one likes Kpop. Whenever my school has an end of the year assembly, many older students would perform Kpop dances and they would always start complaining. I don't know why but they only hate on BTS. They do not like other groups and some groups I know they enjoy however BTS is the exception. Some of them don't even really know about Kpop but they want to follow the trend the Korean boys in my grade are making. Those Korean boys also do pay a lot of attention towards Kpop and they can identify which songs are from BTS. I just really don't understand why they would do this and why some of the other boys would follow.

when it comes to me, i'm very lucky to be surrounded by good people. my parents allow me to buy merch and get it for me as presents if i ask, and they don't mind me playing the music. my siblings enjoy the music and one is actually also a kpop stan. i have a few friends who were the ones to introduce me to it, and the rest are accepting, if anything they want to learn more to connect better. i've made a few really good online friends through kpop, and they are some of the amazing people in this fandom. even so, i tend to hide that i like kpop for the fear that i will be judged by the other people at school, but so far i've been treated the same. i feel so incredibly grateful for all of this, but i wish everyone could be in a good situation like me.

I started liking kpop back in 2012 and it has helped me all throughout my teenage years. I was laughed at and people I had previously called friends would laugh and talk about me behind my back and right in front of me. Kpop helped me through losing friendships, realizing I was headed for disaster and helped me gather the courage to talk about my problems in therapy. It breaks my heart every time I try to share my joy with others and they don't even give it a chance and then trash on it like it's something I should be ashamed of. It also hurts when family is just waiting for this "phase" to be over, even though I keep telling them that this "phase" is the reason why I have dreams, goals, and why you are still able to have a conversation with me. I don't need you to like it. I don't need you to understand it. I just need you to respect it and understand that I love it.

When I was in middle school I felt like I had to pretend I hated k-pop, because of how much hate my friend got for listening to it. He even ended up changing schools. I eventually started high school, where a lot girls in my class don't listen to k-pop, but they respect it as a genre and I am extremely grateful for it. One time we were outside and a guy from my class played an actually funny edit of ddu-du ddu-du and another guy sad that k-pop is actually kind of nice. FYI I was hiding my liking of k-pop at the time so they didn't know about it. With that being said, a guy who I actually got along with pretty well said "Every girl that listens to k-pop is a wh**e". I still only let a few people know that I like k-pop because I am so freaking afraid of getting attacked. People still ask me why am I cold to that guy sometimes when we used to get along so well, but what he said really hurt my feelings and reminded me not to trust anyone. The ending of this video really hit home for me and I am still crying so hard. Thank you so much for making this.

Also, another example: My sister is also a hater of k-pop and when I try to play any music at home she covers her ears and starts screaming. She's almost 20 but I find her behaviour so childish. I don't like the music she listens to, but I don't insult it and I let her play it. There is literally no need for that kind of reaction, but the worst thing is that it doesn't surprise me anymore.

@@jelenavuckovic4250 I can actually relate to this. But my sis is a fan. One time in our music class, our teacher chose me and my friend to play a song. We both thought that it would be better if we played a cover of an English song by Jungkook. So we played paper hearts and the haters started to cover their ears saying things like 'Eww the song is so bad' 'I hate it' and other stuff. Our sir didn't say anything as it was a good song. I was really upset at how they just started insulting Kpop without even listening to the song.

I am SOOOOOO glad that you included Alexa in this video. I haven’t seen a lot of people like her so it was a surprise. Stan Alexa!!! Also I wanted to say that it is true that almost all of us have gone through something to be this much into kpop. When my friend showed me BTS and Blackpink I was a little skeptical about it. But then all my friends ditched me and my classmates hated me to the point where I was always sad and depressed but I refused to show it to anyone. So then I again look at BTS songs and searched the lyrics and found strength and confidence so that I can shine bright again. So I am really angry when I hear hate comments about kpop and fans. But sadly I haven’t found kpopers because it is really rare to see some in my country. I just wanted to share my story with you and say that you can overcome everything with the strength of kpop

Most of the music I listen to outside kpop is like emo/punk pop 2000s like my chemical romance, or more current pop punk/alt rock like waterparks, all time low, etc. But then I started listening to kpop and it has really expanded the type of music I listen to, it's made me more open to try other music styles and genres. Even if I don't listen to a lot of groups (mostly bts, dreamcatcher, and day6), I feel like kpop has made more more open minded in general, and it has helped me realize that asian cultures are much more than what i thought they were. (Sorry for my english lmao)

The last part made me cry. I used to get bullied at school to a point where I felt bad abt just being myself, I felt insecure and unworthy of everything. Kpop music in general helped me so much. That's why I'm sensitive abt it, they helped me and I'm going to do anything it takes to help them. People think it's okay to hate on someone or something. Sulli and jonghyun(RIP Angel's), one of the purest souls that have existed in this generation suicided because of the hate they got. How can u hate an idol or the genre as a whole to an extent where people r being emotionally hurt. People learnt to respect the black. People learnt to respect the gays. People learnt to respect lesbians/bi. People learnt to respect transgenders. But people still hate on kpop and it's fans because they're 'asian' and normal humans shouldn't like 'asians'. Double standards, u support the black lives matter movement and then tell kpop fans to die because they like Asian music. We r humans and have feelings, it's absolutely fine if u don't like kpop in general, but that doesn't mean u send online hate towards the genre or the fans. This video is so respectful. Thank u for literally posting this💜

Great job on the video :) I actually think it's better when someone who says they hate kpop goes into why they hate it. It either shows they don't know what they're talking about or allows you as a kpop fan to agree with them in some places and hopefully have a discussion. It's so telling if you were to ask someone why they hate kpop and they don't know what to say. It's like they don't even know why they have the opinion that they do.

I grew up an only child in a household with no one but my abusive parents and as a young child(10 and below), no one believed me when I said that I had family problems. My parents were pretty rich yet I basically slept in my closet my entire life. They would waste all their money on alcohol and cigarettes. The house reeked of smoke. I could constantly hear the sound of glass breaking as my they threw their empty glass bottles across the rooms. Eventually, I grew a phobia of anything to do with alcohol. There were three stages of fear. 1. Smelling it. Alcohol has a strong smell and if I smelt it I would get nervous and begin to feel uncomfortable. 2. Seeing it. Once my parents came in holding the bottle I knew for sure I was done for,the feeling of fear and dread would fill me up. 3. Tasting it. I refuse to drink alcohol as it would remind of the times my parents would get drunk and beat me up. During these hard times, no one was willing to help me. I felt isolated. Until I found Kpop. Kpop was the light at the end of a seemingly endless pitch black tunnel. When I a younger I alway wanted to be a vet, because I never had a connection with a human like I did with an animal. I always felt extra protective of them. But after getting into Kpop, I want to be a Kpop idol now. I am fully aware that being a trainee in the industry isn't a walk in the park. But, after all that Kpop has done for me the least I could do is pass on the favour by helping others going through hard times as well. And for anyone wondering if my parents ended up in jail, no they didn't. I called the police but I guess they heard the sirens because the next minute I was hiding in a closet watching my parents brutally commit suicide. Yes, I watched it all happen. I was later diagnosed with anxiety and PTSD. I shared this as a lesson to all the haters/antis out there(especially the ones going on about language barriers), that you don't have to understand the lyrics as long as it makes you feel something. For anyone going through a hard time, remember that you are not alone in this no matter how isolated you feel. If you're depressed don't give in to suicide. It won't change anything. Your death will be in vain. And if you think that depression is a joke and that it's a term to be joked around with you are very wrong. Sadness does not, I repeat does NOT equal to depression. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for reading.

like you mentioned at the end of the video, kpop is somehow therapeutic, I've struggled a lot in the past years and the groups I stan have always been there to comfort me and make me feel like everything was going to be alright so when people shit on kpop for idiotic reasons it just makes me so damn angry. They don't understand the impact kpop can have on people's lives and just think that it's funny to send all groups and fandom to hell when they don't even try to understand why we love kpop as much as we do. For example, I really dislike rap but when someone tells me that's what they listen to it, I don't go "eww gross rap sucks and you should die because you like it", I'm just like alright, it's not my cup of tea but you do you and if rap is what makes you happy then it's none of my business to tell you if listening to it is right or wrong. So moral of the story kids is don't shit on something because you don't understand it.
