To move your song (or bourbon) to the front of the list, please bribe us by sending a bottle of bourbon, preferably one we haven't had on the channel yet, to: BCR 484 E. Carmel Dr. Suite 155 Carmel, IN 46032 Be sure to include your song request in the package!
Ok, I need some advice lol. I'm NOT a bourbon drinker, at all. I'm trying to pick one to send you but I'd prefer to send something that's not going to gag you. My only real option at this point is to try and go by reviews of the different ones. Other than that, any advice or suggestions?
@@dianasparr2288 my best suggestion would be to either go to a local distillery near you, or a local liquor store and ask about something in your price range that maybe no one knows about. Thanks in advance for the Bribe! We look forward to it 🥃 -Dustin
'Because of You' is actually one of Kelly's songs. As someone else already pointed out, Kelly was married to Reba's (step) son. The two women became close and made this song into a duet. Reba brings wonderful nuances to the song, but in my personal opinion, I prefer Kelly's version more.
@@phoenixwright784 It was released on August 16, 2005, by RCA Records, as the third single from Breakaway. Clarkson originally wrote "Because of You" when she was 16 years old to cope with the emotional distress caused by her parents' divorce.
One of the best song of Kelly’s is Piece by Piece , which is a true story . She sang it live for one of the first times on American Idol and barely made it through the song without bawling her eyes out
Yes, Kelly's Piece By Piece from American Idol's "finale." She wrote the song for her little girl and was really pregnant with her boy when she sang and was super emotional.
First off, I am not a hater! I love Reba so much. She is a true artist! However, this is Kelly’s song. She wrote this song in her teenaged years. Kelly is an awesome songwriter. I feel like Reba had the lead on most of the song and Kelly took the backside. During this particular performance, Kelly was Reba‘s daughter-in-law. Having said all of that, I loved the performance. Y’all really should check out Kelly‘s song that she sang on the live version of the finale of American Idol. Kelly was the first winner of the American Idol. During this episode, Kelly was about eight months pregnant. The song is called “Piece by Piece.” This is a live version that y’all will definitely want to watch. As usual, y’all’s reaction was spot on!
@@BourbonCountryReacts I consider it a country song, especially since they had Reba and Kelly doing it. Kelly has been more country than anything. Country is about the storytelling and that’s what Kelly does. Y’all chose to react to that song probably because Reba was attached to it. In my opinion, out of respect for Kelly, I think y’all should do a reaction with Kelly on the live version of American idol finale.
I actually watched that live back in the day. I don't remember any of it, but, I did watch it. The only thing I remember is that the performance was amazing. I can't remember a single note, but I remember that. - Keith
Reba is on Dolly Parton’s level. You’ll probably get requests for “Fancy” and “The Nights Went Out in Georgia” which are popular reaction songs but if you want Reba at her best check out “For My Broken Heart”.
@@BourbonCountryReacts make that one each from me too... also, can you add "Ring On My Finger and Time On My Hands", or Reba's cover of the Dave Loggins number "Please Come To Boston"... both are beautifully done... just found your channel a cupla days ago and it's great... now all you need is to get stuck into some aussie music, we've got heaps mate.... ;)
@@BourbonCountryReacts Awesome! Preferably the studio version in this case. She tends to lower the key live, undoubtedly to save her voice as it's a really hard song to sing, lol. So it's still always really good, just not quite the same as hearing the studio version for the first time :)
I’ve tried to get some of the reactors to react to this live version as well and have been unable to do so. My story is much like Kelly’s. I didn’t follow Kelly like a lot of people. I started following her when she was on the voice. I checked her out and realized that she also wrote music and also wrote a lot of her music. I had not heard the song “Piece By Piece” Until I was browsing RU-vid I came across the live version. I’ve checked out her studio version and while it is very good, I prefer the live version. It doesn’t matter how many times I watch it, I always end up in tears.
"She Thinks His Name Is John" Reba sings it with no effects and very basic accompaniment... her grace and courage to sing it shows who she was... Also Vice and Tin Man by Miranda Lambert
She Thinks His Name Is John is farrrrr too overlooked!!! Cody Johnson does a gorgeous acoustic cover of When Whoever’s In New England. Just him and his guitar. Of course, Reba duets with him on Dear Rodeo. Reba seems to have really taken him under her wing🥰 Both are worth the watch and/or listen.
In 2008, I attended a stop on Reba & Kelly's 2 Worlds 2 Voices tour in which they performed duets throughout the show on each other's songs. Without qualification, it was the best concert I've ever been to.
Kelly is Reba's daughter-in-law. Well her ex daughter in law. They are great friends too. Reba is a great performer. You should listen Kelly's live performance to PIECE BY PIECE on American Idol. This was years after her winning the competition.
Kelly is a powerhouse. She has done some great collaborations. I know you already have Kelly and Jason Aldean on your list for their song. Don't you wanna stay..
She is not nervous around Reba. They have sang several songs together for years. That’s her kids grandma. They legit love each other and respect each other 😊
Kelly doesn’t get nervous when she sings.. plus she was letting Reba take lead on this since this was during Reba’s duet album. This was also 2008 era, Kelly’s voice was tired, you can hear it by the rasp - her songs are extremely hard to sing, vocally. Kellys voice has only gotten better since then though. If you compare this climax to Kelly’s you will truly see the vocal differences. Reba is a great vocalist as well and her presence is… well, legendary. She’s a country legend. Anyways, great reactions!
Kelly may have been a little nervous but I think it was more so her wanted to do the song justice for the legend that is Reba. Amy Lee is my girl crush, she’s amazing! Kelly and her are definitely in the same range, their delivery is awesome. If you didn’t know, Kelly was the winner of the first American idol. She came back a couple years ago to do a performance and it made the judges cry! You should watch it, it’s Piece by Piece that she did live on American idol🖤
We were aware Kelly won the first American Idol. But, at least for me, this is the first performance of hers that I've seen that wasn't on the show. - Keith
I know this is a country channel so I understand if you don't react to it, but I'd love to see you react to the original. This was original Kelly's masterpiece turned into a duet. While I like this version, I love the original better. Please consider it.
Reba will always be one of my favorites! She has so many awesome songs! You should check out "fancy" which I'm sure everyone will request and she did a duet with dolly Parton " does he love you" she is always awesome to watch live. Another good one is "strange" by reba
Why would you be ashamed? This was a big song for Kelly. Those two singing this together that night was just a massive treat. Reba loved this song the first time she heard. With them being good friends they performed it together at the awards. I really love this with them singing it together, but Kelly just really brought it to life. Which was expected since she wrote it and it was personal for her. Kelly’s actually dialing it back for this performance.
Cool! I've met a lot of "celebrities" in my lifetime, and they're just like everyone else. Some are super cool, down to earth. Some are utter jackholes, and most are somewhere in-between. - Keith
Want to vote for Kathy Mattea's Where've You Been. Also would love for you to listen to more Patty Loveless ; You Can Feel Bad if You Want To or You Dont Even Know Who I Am or I Think About Elvis. Keep up the good work, guys. Also I am going to be sending you a bribe from Illinois soon just to see if Illinois can actually do bourbon. Lol
Thank you a thousand times for this!! Kelly and Reba together is epic and, their relationship is beautiful! Fact: Kelly wrote this song at the age of 16. The inspiration? Watching her Mom make mistake after mistake in picking the wrong men.
@Bourbon Country Reacts the song also about her parent's divorce. Her father walked out and never came back, completely abandoning his children. Piece by Piece (the live American Idol version please) is also about that. Kelly has been shit on many times in life but still strives to make her dreams come true, which is admirable.
Reba is my absolute fave! I was especially a meeega fan when I was a teen! It's so hard to choose which songs to recommend most. But some faves for her vocals are "you lie" and "take it back. They show different aspects of her voice, with the first being a ballad and the second, more upbeat and jazzy. But you won't be disappointed in any Reba song! I am sure other commenters have discussed her relationship with kelly and some more info on this song etc. So I won't blather about that. BUT if you want to talk Reba, I am here! 😆
Kelly was Rebas daughter in law for 7 years. Kelly wrote this song and it was a huge hit for her. She hails from Burleson, TX which is just outside of Ft. Worth, TX. Her voice can raise the roof and shake the windows for sure.
Kelly gets emotional singing this song. She wrote it about her father. It's originally her song. One of her biggest hits. Her grammy performance of this song is a classic.
After this performance this version of this song grew so popular that Kelly and Reba ended up recording and released it as a single on country radio. It ultimately ended up topping the country music charts.
Live performances by Pink to react to are “Glitter in the Air” or Beautiful Trauma” you won’t be disappointed.. the level of her talent will not disappoint!!
@@BourbonCountryReacts pardon me… yes Pink is pop… I guess I didn’t realize you only react to country music… I was just suggesting fantastic music by super talented artists.
Just FYI Reba was Kelly's mother-in-law lol aw for years until Kelly divorced her husband. If you want to hear Kelly push through a very hard song for her to sing check out Piece By Piece on final American Idol. It was an emotional song she wrote.
Give Kelly's duet with Jake Hoot a listen. He was on her team on The Voice (and won) a few years ago. This duet shows her power and range. I feel like her voice has matured into a smoky sound as she's gotten older. It's always been gorgeous, but she was really young there and I feel she offers even more now.
This was actually Kelly’s song and her and Reba did an episode of Crossroads and decided to cut this as a single. I saw on this live performance, she let Reba take about 75% of the song which is nice. I thought she would take the power vocals but she let Reba do them, which is awesome of her. I was surprised Reba did a good job on those notes. Anything Kelly does live will be really good. She does a ton of covers now that she has her own show and opens it with a cover. The cover series is called Kellyoke! I hope you guys check it out!
This is Kelly's song. Reba and Kelly decided to sing it as a duet. If you've ever heard Kelly Clarkson on her own , you'd wondered why she held back so much cause she's got some amazing pipes. I didn't see it as Kelly being nervous about Reba but letting her lead.
Kelly wrote this song about her mother, because after her father abandoned them she ended up in an abusive relationship, and she, basically became the child, and Kelly became the adult in the family. Piece by piece is about her father abandoning her. I admire her for pulling herself together, despite the lack of support and parenting she had , even in her early childhood. She’s amazingly strong, and talented? Get out of here, there’s absolutely no question about that!
You're right. This is Kelly's song. However, she was not married to Reba's stepson then. This duet was released in 2009.. Kelly got married in 2013! This song was a massive hit, when Kelly released it in 2004-5
Reba's songs to react to...Cathy's Clown, Rumor has it,You Lie, Is there life out there, The heart won't lie, and Consider me gone are some of my favorite. You already done The lights went out in Georgia.
Does He Love You, the first video and the new one with Dolly. She Thanks His Name Was John. The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia (the original video is a must) Rumor Has It. Still. The Heart Won't Lie with Vince Gill. Fancy. If Reba sings it, it's amazing. Kelly is also outstanding. Check out her singing The Dance during a tribute to Garth Brooks. She has him in tears. Kelly and Jake Hoot sing I Would Have Loved You. She was his coach on season 17 of The Voice.
I so love Reba was raised on 80's and 90's country you guys are awesome. I am requesting Travis Tritt LOVE OF A WOMAN this song should be dedicated to our wives and I sang this to my wife at our wedding.
Went to a fan club party in Nashville for Reba and she showed up and signed autographs and took pictures with everyone there..... this was at an arena.... she was there till 4am.... started in late afternoon...
As a fan of rock, my personal favorite voice comes from Ann Wilson. Even after all these years, that woman's voice is amazing and just as crystal clear now as it was way back when. Though I agree, Amy Lee has a great voice too. I've been a Reba fan for many years. I really like her music. Over about the last 10 years or so, I've become a fan of Kelly's too. Though, Reba is a lot more country, Kelly has some good country sounds. Kelly is more of a crossover type of artist. This song here, though, was a solo effort by Kelly Clarkson a couple years before she and Reba collaborated it as a duet. I like this version of the song, however, I think Kelly solo performance hits me harder. By the way, Kelly and Reba were already decent friends when they did this, so if she seemed nervous, it probably wasn't because she was onstage with Reba. After all, Kelly was married to Reba's stepson (they divorced very recently).
Ann and Nancy are at or near the top of my list for rock vocals. On any given day they may be my favorite. On any other day, it could be Dio, Dickenson, Geoff Tate, or Chris Cornell. - Keith
@@BourbonCountryReacts I probably should have mentioned that I was thinking strictly female vocalists in rock. If we're including the guys, I would also include RJD, plus Joe Elliot, Lou Gramm, Shaun Morgan, and Tommy Shaw.
Reba's duet with Brooks and Dunn "If You See Her/Him" is one of my favorites. I saw them together in concert and was amazed. If you want some Brooks and Dunn, try "I Believe" and "Red Dirt Road."
Y’all should watch Kelly Clarkson’s version of ‘Fancy’ (one of Reba’s biggest hits) at The Kennedy Center honors Reba Macintyre, also Kelly’s cover of Garth Brooks ‘The Dance’ at this year’s Kennedy Center Honors Garth Brooks - both are incredible and really show off Kelly’s talent.
Not nervous singing with her mother in law. Nervous singing that particular song. Kelly writes from her own experiences in life. Every one of her songs about her childhood makes her nervous. I love that Reba has never lost her Okie accent. Born and raised in Oklahoma myself. So many great artists have come from Oklahoma 🤓❤️🇺🇸
They changed the melody to make it country, if you hear Kelly’s original version which originally Kelly released this song solo and it was so much more emotional for her
Reba has always been a "genuine" person and for her fame always had a very "normal" affect. These 2 ladies have pipes beyond and they can "sang"!! I've never heard Reba have a "bad performance". Kelly was still pretty young here, as good as she was in this performance, she's gotten a 100 times better over the years. BTW Reba was Kelly's Mother in Law for many years, up until last year. Kelly has some songs out that are very close to Amy Lee's style, she's much more pop/rock in her career than she tends to be Country. Reba has always been pretty diehard Country. You can't go wrong with either of them.
Kelly opens her talk show up everyday w a different song ! She tries different genres ..She can see anything .. she’s also a coach on the voice .. ans has stellar performances on it ..it’s really a pop song .. but Reba has still got it !! She’s like Dolly Parton status almost ..
Find this song on RU-vid when their recording it in the studio. That's my favorite of Reba and Kelly singing Because of You. You talk about breath taking and goose bumps. ❤️
Hi Guys! Early (& brilliant) song written by Kelly which she fought Clive Davis tooth & nail to record & release: Kelly & Reba of course went on to be Mother & Daughter in Law. Life is crazy😊 Must sees: Reba: Fancy, Official video Kelly: Piece by Piece, live American Idol ‘final season’ performance (ha🙄) Wishing all a happy, healthy, and boring New Year! Boring would be good!!😂 Stay safe & love much💖
Also since y’all checked out Hank Williams Jr. you guys need to check out his Dad, Hank Williams Sr’s song, “I’m so lonesome I could cry”. After that song do Alan Jackson’s song “Midnight in Montgomery”. It’s a tribute to the original King of country.
Actually, IMO, the better version of this is when they were recording this in the studio---it's more crisp, and Reba hits a mad note that you've never heard in your life!! You don't have to react to it, but you should really hear it.... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1aJSJbYaBZ8.html Kelly wrote this song, when she was SIXTEEN, about her dad. My favorite of Reba's, is "You Lie" (official version); Reba does some major vocal calestenics. The most popular of hers, to react to, are "Fancy" and "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia"---you must do the official videos because these songs are deep stories, and the visual adds TONS! (IMO, you should almost never listen to the live version---unless specifically requested---because it's almost never as good as the record.)
Thanks for the suggestions, we have heard several live performances now that didn't let us down, and as Keith says it really sets artist apart when they blow you away live. I've added votes for the songs you mentioned, and stay tune for the Night the lights went out -Dustin
So I heard y'all asking for more Reba, I GOT YOU👍. How bout we go back a little old school to some fun sassy Reba that I think y'all are gonna get a kick out of. Reba Ma entire "Take it back".
Reba and Kelley are duet queens. They can sing with anyone. You should check out Reba's duet with Leann Rimes, When You Love Someone Like That. There's a live version of it. Amazing vocals.
Reba is Kelly's mother in law. Kelly's going through divorce with Brandon Blackstock, Reba's stepson fyi! Love your reactions Oh and Kelly wrote this song
Kelly's duet with Pink (live) "Everybody Hurts" is really goof too! This is the first time I had seen this performance. Had chills all the way through.
I tend to appreciate talent on any of the things that make rock music good. Good strings playing. Good drums. Good vocals. You guys are teaching us that there's a lot of all of the above ('cept maybe drums) in country. - Keith
