KTLA 5's Rachel Menitoff speaks with Karim and Nancy Iskander, and how they feel after Grossman hired a new attorney, which could prolong sentencing. KTLA 5 News - Keeping Southern Californians informed since 1947.
Her and her family are doing every nasty thing in the book. Lock her up for 40 years to life. She killed two boys, probably drunk, and is still out of jail. That’s not justice.
it does not matter how many new trials she gets,,,,NO JURY will let her off for killing to kids....there is WAY to much evidence on her....good luck rebecca
This family came here to seek a better life for her children because of what the US can provide and the country rewards her with this injustice. Dont ever call that woman a philanthropist if she continues to try to delay her punishment with this legal silliness. She will give back to the community once she goes to JAIL.
As the father of three seeing those boys smiling faces broke my heart. Their families are dealing with a pain I can imagine. She deserves life in prison..
They’re making sure the verdict stands by not having a conflict of interest come up later on. And you’re turning this into something it’s not. You’re reminding me of someone who walks in a room with sunglasses on and asked why it’s so dark in the house.
You're blind--the one with the sunglasses on--and accusing me of your evil, as evil people ALWAYS do. Now I KNOW this entire release is PURE propaganda, and nothing else. @@iMatti00
What is this story even about. The woman was rightfully found guilty of killing those poor little boys (OF WHICH THIS STATION DID NOT NEED TO SHOW THE GRAPHIC DETAILS!!!!!!) Lock that woman up and quit torturing the children's parents and loved ones who need and deserve closure.
What's it about? Suddenly they've found a "conflict of interest" and are getting the prosecutors thrown off the case (even though they are supposed to be giving oversight). This DA's office is TRYING to lose their spot in the next election.
My heart goes out to those parents, I lost my only child, my teenage son to a dirtbike accident and it completely crushed me! So I know what they're going through. 😢 May their boys R.I.P.
I'm hoping for the sake of the grieving parents that justice is swift. That the woman who killed 2 children, that she spends the rest of her life behind bars.
I live here and this is NOT surprising at all. She's rich, her Hubby is HUGE in the medical/socialite community. My guess is when all is said and done, like in 3 more years, she won't do any time and people won't even care. Part of the tactic is draw it out as long as possible because people forget or the news moves on. They count on this!
@@mizzury54he is just stating a fact of life. The same reason a cold-blooded murderer gets parole after 20 years or so….because people lose interest, passions die, hatred ebbs, etc etc. it’s just a fact. He wasn’t trying to be the boss of things, I promise!😂
Me, too. I say that because Phil Spector went to jail, eventually, and he died in prison. This was too horrific a case for it to slide off the radar. You can bet the parents aren't going to let it go. And neither will the press. It's too juicy of a story.
An entire new trial ?!? She was already convicted lawyers make me sick to my stomach if a judge allows this to go to trial I would completely lose faith in the justice system

@@iMatti00 Sorry Sir…. that is complete BS. She and her team are angling for a new trial….almost four years after the incident. It appears they’re also hoping to affect sentencing.

You’re reminding me of someone who walks in a room with sunglasses on and asked why it’s so dark in the house.f And then when you are wrong and she goes to prison for a significant period of time, are you going to reevaluate how much valuable insight you believe you have into the world? Or are you just going to dismiss that as the small minority of times that you’re wrong and you continue believing that your insight is grand?
If you got money, you can delay, postpone, and request new trials. We’re living it right now, not just THIS woman. The laws shouldn’t benefit the wealthy, it should be equal for all..

Good strategy by the DA. Keeping the original prosecutors available to help with the case should iron out any difficulties and solve the conflict of interest problem. I hope the Grossmans empty their bank accounts on lawyers for no good reason and she spends years in prison.
Seeking a new trial? How the hell can that be? Was there something wrong with the first trial? And I can't see the real conflict of interest here. The trial portion of this was already concluded, and she was found guilty. All that was left was the sentencing.
@@iMatti00 Right,,,,,she might not get a n ew trial.....and if she does the outcome will be the same.......to much evedince on her.....that it was her CAR that killed them boys....
Hope the family sues her for every penny she has. Keep playing games win stupid prizes. The go fund me should be in place to hire a bull shark lawyer. This family can easily win a case for emotional damage.

Give her what she wants LOL It's not going to change anything, she's guilty as sin and she knows it. She is scared of going to prison, but she should have thought about that before getting out intoxicated speeding and killing these two beautiful boys!!!

@iMatti00 Two small boys died. Don't think it's possible to make any worse. Oh yeah, the defendant trying to find a juror to bribe. Yeah, I guess that made it worse.
