This case is weird. They found the murder weapon _in her car_ the day after the murder, but decided they didn't have enough evidence to prosecute her. Then her house conveniently burned down, but there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute her. But then some random hobo claims she threatened to kill him "just like larry" and _that's_ the missing link??? Either you left out a few crucial details or the cops in Florida are really just f'ing around some days.

@DixieDee
@DixieDee Год назад
I'm gonna play "devils advocate" for a moment here... Gun was found, but no fingerprints. There were no gun powder stains on her hands. House burnt down but there was no evidence to how it started. Just because we "know" someone is guilty, doesn't make evidence to convince a jury. Could have been possible that one of her "AA" pals relapsed and "went crazy" or something. I am NOT saying this happened; but, this is the problem with "circumstantial evidence". If they had prematurely brought this case to trial, she very well could have walked; without the possibility of being charged for the same crime again (double jeopardy). Not all evidence is equal. The suspicious "circumstantial" evidence would not have been enough; without the guys testimony about "kill you like Larry". If flimsy evidence was enough to convict someone, there would be a heck of a lot more innocent people in prison. There is an old adage that goes: I'd rather see 99 guilty men go free than to put 1 innocent man in prison.
@tobiasisback4605

So..little story about this lady.. about a year ago I did some time with Rebecca Fenton in FWRC prison. She happened to be my "Mentor" in the short sentence program they have for people doing little time. And for a while she came off so loving and sweet and was considered the "Dorm Mom" but as time went by I started noticing things about her. She was a great liar!! I recall asking her for help moving my bed location for certain reasons and in there it's hard to get your bed moved. She told me to ask around her birthday (in April) when I re approached her on it, she claimed she never told me that and started picking at things I came to her for. That had nothing to do with it. I decided to walk away at that point because it was useless talking to her, and she told me " you don't wanna do that" and threatened to get guards on me. She then pulled me into the foyer after I did finally walk off. To try and talk it out while I was still upset. Went nowhere. I walked out and she hollered something at me in front of everyone. And put our business in the open. She's rude and soooo dramatic. I've heard this fake cry voice from her before. She's also a master manipulator. She lies so much it's ridiculous and I'm not surprised she passed a lie detector test. She has a split personality. One day she would be a certain person, and the next it's like she was different. One thing I'll say is...she's a good talker..at least in there she was..she was always able to convince the guards when she wanted something done...but here in this video since I now know this lady, i can tell you she is 100% guilty. She even stated to me once that she was gonna be down for a long long time because of what she did..mind you I didn't know her sentence or charges at the time. When I got released I started to hear all the stuff I was told about while locked up to be true. This lady is a sociopath at its finest. And as of last year when I saw her (2023) she wasn't in the greatest health. Maybe karma 🤷‍♀️ I don't wish bad on her but she chose her path.

As a dude, women's prisons freak me TF out. I would way rather be at a male prison than a female one. My ex's uncle worked for like 15 years as a mens prison security guard, and wanted to take it easy and semi retire so he moved cities to a female prison and was out within 6 months. He said guys will beef, politic or fight it out, and it's done. While at the female prison, if you cut someone off in line, be prepared for multi year psychological, emotional, and physical torture for the rest of your stay or until the person finds a new victim. They were pulling hair and pouring boiling water on each other. Shit was nuts.

Depending on the person, someone finding the dead body of a loved one might overcome the terror in order to try to resuscitate the victim. When told that my Dad had died, my reaction was vehement disbelief. The shock took hours to dissipate, during which time I was speaking normally (according to others), but from a distance (to me). @MatrixAgentFoxMulder I've faced this delimma as a medical worker. If you don't know 100% gloves are always first. They don't tell staff in direct care that a pt is HIV or Hep C +. They expect you to assume they are. In this situation, if I knew a loved one had a blood borne disease I'd have gloves somewhere easily accessible. I usually do even though no one in my house has a blood borne issue. Even in the car. That delimma is just a reality of medical care and first aid. So always be prepared.

My husband died from cancer, but I do remember one time, he had been sick & I can't remember what I was doing, but I heard a thud, like someone fell...I came running into the living room & found him on the floor, face down...it scared me so badly...I never thought to check for a pulse...I did call 911 right away, no other calls...but, when the dispatcher asked me if he had a pulse, I told her I didn't know...I hadn't checked him...I was scared half to death, just seeing him lying on the floor like that. That was long before he died, but he had cancer 2 times previously & beat them both...I still today, wonder what on earth scared me so badly that I never thought to check for a pulse!! Just thinking about it now, still makes my heart race a bit. It turned out he had an infection & wound up in the hospital for a week on antibiotics...thank God he recovered fully. He'll be gone 30 years this coming Dec & I still miss him terribly every day. Cancer is such an awful disease though...it took him a small piece at a time & I hated so much watching him die that way...he was my hero...such a fighter!! I have to say though, in a case like this, I would not have been able to leave my home...I'd have called from inside the house & stayed with my husband...hoping & praying that he was still alive & even trying CPR...anything but leave him there alone!! This woman does a terrible job at lying...talking again & again about only being allowed to shoot the gun inside the house!! I wouldn't have been able to talk at all, if someone had shot my husband like this...I would have been so devastated that talking with the police would have been next to impossible. She was evidently having an affair...that's why the change in her looks, that the neighbors noticed!! My Dad died from cancer too...I was there, helping my Mom take care of him for the last 4 months of his life...I can still remember vividly the morning that he passed away, not being able to tell Hospice that he had died...for some reason, I could not get those words out that morning...I just said "everything is done here"...I still can't believe how stupid that must have sounded...I have no idea why I couldn't tell them he had passed. Strange things happen when someone dies, even if you are expecting it...when it actually happens, it's hard to say how you will react, but this woman clearly is lying!! If she really thought he might be still alive, because his eyes were open, then why didn't she perform CPR?? That makes no sense at all!!

Plus she said "I'm loaded" - BUT, didn't she say the gun was kept upstairs in one of the drawers. Or maybe that was something she thought she should say. Plus, shouldn't she have been scared, knowing the gun was up there and the place had been ransacked. The so-called burglars would have found the gun and if they were still up there, could have shot her too, but she goes upstairs anyway. Such a brave person she is. So many holes in this interrogation and she got away with it, even though the gun was in her car. Amazing.

As a recovering alcoholic with plenty of experience with AA it's laughable that she acts like you're never supposed to break your anonymity and admit you attend AA 😂 You just generally don't use a last name in the meetings, it doesn't mean you're not supposed to talk about being in the program.

exactly, burglary was more important that her husband death the way she oresented it to 911, something like in another words "maybe my husband is dead but there must a been a burglar at my place which is very concerning" totaly skipping the husband like secondary to the importance of the so called theft. she was guilty from the first call, but they had to prove it which is a different story.

Not saying, I think my house was "burglarized." my HUSBAND looks like he's dying or dead. nothing in my house would matter. they could steal everything of value from my house right now, and I would only be thinking about my husband. and wanting to keep him alive. it's just not a normal phone call

Another thing which i noticed is that she said she was scared so she ran out of the house and called the police but when they asked her why did she went upstairs where she didn't knew what was waiting for her she told that she wasn't afraid and was ready to die... How did they not question on this to her
