Sofia Boutella ( Kora ) lived not far from me in Bab El Oued in Algiers ( Algeria ) when she was young. I used to saw her many times cross my neighborhood going to her dance classes. As an Algerian I am very proud of her. She is magnificent, sporty, daring in the film sequences where she does all the stunts.She was the principal dancer of Madonna during 10 years .She was shoosen by Michael Jackson in the video Clip Hollywood Tonight before he died . She danced for Rihanna, Usher, Mariah Carey, Chris Brown and Foo Fighters

I hope the movies, games and graphic novels open up a completely new world for us to enjoy. We've had so much Star Wars content lately that up until Ahsoka it was getting a bit stale, so a completely new setting is so refreshing to see. You can never have too many futuristic space movies.

Personally I loved Andor it took the top spot from Mando for my favourite Star Wars live action TV , I preferred Mando season 2 especially the finale episode and I would certainly agree season 3 was rather weak .

I hope that the cut parts of the fight scenes were too graphic for PG-13. Hopefully for the R-rated version (late 2024), it will be there. The R-rated cut will be closer to (total of) 6 hours.

I sure hope these films get released to Blu-ray/4K disc at some point. As I hate relying on streaming to watch my favorite entertainment. For example, I put off on watching anything past S2 of The Expanse once S5 & S6 were not being put out on Blu-ray, until a Complete Setries set was announced last month to come out here on the 21st. So I started watching S1 yesterday and binged half the season in one sitting. But anyway, yeah, this Rebel Moon looks EPIC! And I'd say Disney fucked up by not letting Zach do a Star Wars film. Because we could have had another Rogue One type of film(s).

It a story that has been done thousand times before most notably as Seven Samurai/Magnificent Seven even The Mandalorian did it with the episode Sanctuary, which is probably not that big of a deal because I'm guessing this is just a platform to jump into this universe which will be expanded on in future parts/movies.

I have yet to see a Zack Snyder movie that is bloated? That statement makes zero sense. Most action movies have slow mo and I would call it average to bad slo mo, but for some reason people like to criticize Zack Snyder for well placed and used slo mo in his movies. It’s just petty and the main reason people hate Zack is because he single handedly was a threat to the Marvel Franchises which has billions of fans that start false narratives about anything associated with Zack. They fear him so they hate him

This movie was originally Zack Snyder's pitch for a dark Star Wars movie. And Lucasfilm rejected it. Obviously Zack Snyder is known to make movies as a visual feast and with great actions. And it has the potential of being the beginning of a great franchise. But the only thing that concerns me is the plot. Cause Snyder's movies are known to have many lame plot points. I genuinely hope they get this one right with story and plot itself.

There is nothing new original or interesting here. Part of the problem is that all action movie trailers look and sound the same, with the same beats happening at the same place. Also, Snyder is Michael Bay with more noise and more stylized slow motion. I might have to wait for early reviews.

@@wmmercenary2810 Two and a half hours, or three hours, that movie was just a giant set up for what was to come.. Batman gets barely any character development, never mind Wonder Woman.. That movie should've been a Man Of Steel 2 with Lex Luthor and Dooms Day as the main antagonists, and maybe that movie would've led to a BvS. BvS was the Scorcesi theme park that went wrong.. (I'm still kinda a fan of the movie though)

the main actress is cool in action scenes cus she is a very good dancer, a professional one, but damn she sucks at acting, thats some of the most cringe line delivery and acting I have seen in a long time. The vfx looks pretty shoddy as well at times, like it looks surpassingly ugly and devoid of colors, which is perhaps a choice but it just looks ugly. Was hyped but after the trailer, it seems like another army of the dead which was an ok film at best, I aint feeling this.

I'm really surprised the super skeptical Jaby turned off his brain when watching this teaser. They pureed 8+ franchises in a blender & poured it into a sci-fi casing to deliver a terrible hot dog of a movie. So this is new Star Wars all over again, might as well call her Rey. Another tiny female taking on 3-4 dudes 3x her size at once and taking them down over and over. This isn't working, not like this. I loved Atomic Blonde, Old Guard, Gunpowder Milkshake, and a few other female led action movies I just can't think of off the top of my head. This looks like a Disney movie that was allowed to go a little dark or rough. If this was in the theaters I think it would flop. It reminds me of Jupiter Ascending. I hate that it is, I love Snyder. Sucker Punch os one of my all time favorite movies and its almost entirely female. Maybe I'm wrong....maybe not.

Zack Snyder literally offered this story to Lucasfilm Ltd., as a Star Wars film, around 2013. They (Kennedy and The Story Group) summarily rejected it, because they were creating their OWN version of The SWU, under Disney's ownership, and didn't want outsiders influencing it. I think it was a mistake on their part.
