Reborn Paint Shopping Guide: Genesis Heat-Set Varnishes and Mediums 

I just bought my first reborn kit. I am very excited to get it and to start painting. Since it's coming from China, I have a while to wait so I've been cruising youtube and other sites to get ideas and how to get started. I MUST SAY that I've probably seen 35-40 vidoes. YOURS is the other one that didn't make me grind my teeth and say outloud "Would you just shutup and get on with it!" Most have no idea of what they are going to say and repeat themselves, or they pause over and over again. They don't have the camera set up properly and are fidgeting with it all the time. I was so relieved when I click on yours and watch it. When finished, I said, again, out loud, "Well, "I'm impressed." Thank you so much for taking the time and making the effort to do this video. I've subscribed and will tell anyone else that I know doing the same thing do go to your channel. Thanks again ......namaste.

Miss Kim, I have not traveled the world. I rarely watch the news. I am disabled and have not worked for nearly a decade, and have no financial resources left. I see a lot of things, and keep my mind open to new avenues. I have an altruistic nature. In the past before struck with this crashing body, I have volunteered my time in many different ways, always with a person to person care provided over many years, even training and recruiting people into whole new careers and doubling their finances. Now, nearing the end of hope of keeping my home.. there you are with a great giving heart, teaching style, offering it out to anyone who want's to pay attention. I have a short list of "my favorite people" out in the world that I do not know, mostly famous for a positive effect on people/person/child. And, I'm adding you to that list. I cannot thank you enough. I feel, in my heart, that what you have done for me is a real dose of unexpected returns from when I was helping others to strive for their best. I'm very grateful and counting my blessings, and have more hope all thanks to you.

I will say that matte varnish will not get crusty if you mix it thoroughly before using it. I find that I've had more success with just using it straight out of the jar instead of mixing it with paint thinner the paint thinner is what causes it to flake. I only use paint thinner with varnishes if I want to create a dry skin look on the baby's feet which Some people prefer

Thankyou for such an informative video.! You solved two of my proplems ! Thick extender and matte varnish, I wondered if you knew what people used midge podge and satin glaze for - I used them on one doll a few years ago and can't remember for sure what they were for so just trying to find out which is proving hard. Hello, do you have a video with Thick medium? I tried to make eyebrows with it and painting hair structure but it doesn`t work, On pimples and scratches ist works but it could be better. I would really like to see that in a video. For sealing and texturing I use the "secret sauce"
