Rebuild an A&A Infloor Valve with Part

I have a 6 port low profile A&A manufacturing pop up cleaning system. My Pop up system was not rotating. I found that my T- valve cam was bad , this has happened before so I got new and replaced it but still the pop up system is not moving the gear assembly gets stuck. All T Valves are good. Also when I move the gear assembly with hand before closing the lid it moves smoothly with no problem. But when I close and run the system it doesn't move after about 1/2 or 180 turn of gear system. Not sure what is going. Please help.

Here is a easy fix for that worn shift. When it stops rotating be c sure there is a groove worn in the shaft, add an extra washer or two to move the contact point to a thicker place on the plastic shift. You'll get a entire new life span out of that shift and it will turn just fine.

I replaced my gear kit a couple years ago. Recently noticed I have a suction leak and my main drain isn't sucking in water. First I traced the leak to a bad O ring on the diverter valve for the spa and main drain which I replace. Still had air in the leaf basket and pump basket. I can now hear air coming escaping from the lid on the where I replaced the gear kit. My question is, would the leak in that lid cause the main drain to lose suction? Thanks in advance!

I have a magna sweep at a customer house with the ball ports. Replaced the great assembly but it’s still not working all that great. What else would I look for?

my system looks exactly like this, except for a hood that seems to just rest over the gear assembly, I assume it helps force water over the impeller? Any ideas, because it doesnt really secure in at all

What the typical replacement time frame of the gear assembly. I replaced mine back in 2017, and I just finished replacing it again two days ago. 3 year lifespan typical, or is something else going on?

Hey, I have a problem with my cleaners. They pop up but are not working. Before I could see them clean with pressure but now they pop up but little bit of pressured washer. And many pop up cleaners come up now, not sure if that was the case before. Would those be the T caps or these grear things?

What if the cover doesn’t sit all the way after replacing? I replaced but top won’t go all the way down

If i have a top feed 6 port with balls, should i upgrade to the glue in t-vavles? or just get everything swapped out for a low profile with push in t-vavles?

Is there a video that shows how to remove the entire old glue in actuator assembly and replace with a brand newA&A Low Profile 1.5" 6 Port Actuator T-Valve. If no video available, who would you recommend I contact locally, a plumber or someplace like pinch a penny? I know I’m capable of putting the interior together, but am definitely smart with the piping valves and what’s involved. My pool guy doesn’t do this type of repair. I can provide a personal email if that’s better to discuss the issue. I really don’t want to deal with glued parts any more. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Great video. Question for you. I have a 6 port low profile housing with the glue in T-valves. 3 of the 6 valves get stuck in up position the other 3 move freely about (up and down with no resistance) Since it's a glue in, i'm not sure how to remove the T-valves without damaging the house, any ideas?

Can i use this product for an old pool 5port system?

I cannot just pop out the T-valve, (and it is not glued in). They are not just POPPING up as you described, they are really really tight. What do you suggest?
