It's a good looking vehicle and the damage doesn't look too serious. Looks like a good buy.... as long as the top works. Crossing my fingers that it does.

What a nice project. The repairs should be easy compared to your other projects. The headlight should be repairable as you can buy a tab repair kit off the Internet
Yes sir, should be able to salvage that left headlight. The right one is trashed though unfortunately. It’s broken to a point where dirt and moisture are inside the housing. Oh well! Thanks for watching!!

From what I've seen on RU-vid, IAAI does not care much at all about the cars. They seem to damage them more than Copart. My 16 GT was at IAAI for a week or so before I bought it back. Luckily it was not damaged any more, but they did throw away some of my interior trim pieces when they were cleaning it up. One little part of the dash is about $140 for the exact replacement, so I just used the base model part for now. Good luck with the rebuild!

@@CrossroadsRebuild yes, I rebuilt it about 3 years ago. I did a video montage of the pictures I took of the process from the actual accident to completion. I think I mentioned it to you before. It was a fun project. I collected all the parts and had a great custom car/ lowrider/ classic car builder do the paint & body work. I’m still determining how much painting to do. I think the mismatch is a camera issue, because in person I don’t see a mismatch. However, there are several places with some minor paint damage. So I may end up painting more of it than just that corner. Not sure if it’ll be the whole car or not yet. I’ll keep ya posted in the vids though!!
i also have a few build suggestion do a vintage car from the auction to restore it, a fire truck, a ambulance, a semi truck, a golf cart, a jet ski, a utv, a atv, a forklift, a cargo van, a motorcyle and a boat

I own an E92 335is. Your car is strange in a few ways. First off it has fog lights and the door trim and kidney grilles are chrome. I’ve never seen an iS with either and to my knowledge they never came from the factory with fog lights or chrome trim as an option. Edit: So apparently fog lights and chrome trim were available on the E93 but not the E92.
Right! I noticed those things as well, and they’re specific to the e93 vert. But I will most likely be changing the grills and fogs over to black. I think it’ll look better on this car!
Crossroads Rebuild you won’t be disappointed. I also have a ‘11 335i in silver. It has black grilles and door trim and I put the 19” Style 313 wheels from the iS on it and it looks stunning. Btw, if you’re looking for a set of 19” iS wheels let me know. I’m thinking about parting with them even though they’re somewhat hard to come by.

He offered a good deal since the wheels were a little roughed up. I’ve got them at a wheel refurbishing shop right now. I can’t wait to get them on the car! They’re going to look awesome! My car was originally spec’ed with the 19” wheels, so I have no idea what happened to them or where these wheels that are on it came from. But looking forward to seeing it with the proper wheels!
