Rebuilding Fiat 500 Abarth CV Axles!

Removing the right side stub axle is not difficult. Three bolts (10 mm) hold the axle in place, pop out with a pry bar. Then assembly goes easier since you have the whole thing out and it's so much easier to tighten the boot clamp when everything is out. Putting back in kinda easy, just keep rotating and pushing until it goes in, secure with those three bolts and you're good. FYI, removing clamps is easier if you pry up the end with a flat blade screwdriver, cutting the clamps is not required.

Did you find any damage in your axle cups? They’re super expensive and don’t come out easy. My 2017 is starting to vibrate with full throttle in 3rd and 4th. Has to be the tripod bearings I assume.

Hey bud… great video…. Thank you for sharing… I can’t find those damn cv axles anywhere and when you find they are $1k for the set… I’m going to go on your “journey”…. Can you tell me where you found the replacement parts… a link for all parts… I know I’m asking too much but you will help a “handicap mechanic” lol… I have exactly the same car and color lol
