I just wish I could replace the stock green led on my Razer Naga Mmog lol. My 1 and 2 side buttons don't light up anymore. Great job on the led's by the way...
What is the name of the small LED for the side buttons and mouse wheel? I'm trying to search it but i only get stupid ass scroll wheels and other parts... it's so difficult to find
@@makho thanks. i didnt get a notification for your reply but this video suddenly appeard again and i was shocked to see my own comment. well anyway thanks very very much for your help. i can finally replace the led
@@makho It actually clicks normally, but nothing happens on the PC. It's not like I'm using that much really, but I was thinking about replacing it since it doesn't seem to be expensive.
Hey man this is really great video - best out of the 2 or 3 others I cracked the sheets at before finding this one haha! CAAAANNN I.... Replace the Tracking Laser by desoldering from the main PCB? If so, what's the chances I can pull one in the same way from any old mouse I have laying around or is it more likely to be a specific item/part (order through Razer, etc)? Cheers mate! :)
@@makho yeah i figured that would be the case. Thanks for replying tho... 1. quick question while i got you if you don't mind?Basically, the laser isn't working in my naga (as you'll well have assumed) I appreciate your answer but given the likelyhood its the same part (lets be real, next to none) what are my options? Can I order JUST the part (laser module) or should I just hit up Razer for a replacement entire "mainboard" pcb?
@@personone6881 I doubt razer will be helpful (they certainly weren't when I reached out about naga parts). I'd wager the laser is custom for their mice and I'd also wager that it will be cheaper and easier to just track down a used naga and use that. I'm coming to terms with replacing my naga finally too rather than throw yet another battery at it.
Do you have a video of the Naga epic chroma battery replacement? I think mine is dead. Lights up when it's docked and then nothing. The wired mode does not seem to work as well
Nope, I did that well before I was making videos. There is this though: www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/gfhiq0/naga_epic_chroma_diy_battery_replacement/
Hello makho! Nice nice video! I have this same model and am having problems with the side buttons that have 2 or 3 buttons thats not working propertly. Did you know if I can find these side buttons somewhere to buy? Or the entire board containing the buttons?
> I have tried everything Clearly not or it would work. I don't know what you tried to even begin to troubleshoot it. If you want help, you need to actually lay out the symptoms of your problem in full and the steps you took to resolve it.
By any chance someone know if there is spare part of the numpad to sell somewhere? I couldn't found it. Mine had lost the paint in some keys. =[ Beside that, sometimes the 5, 7 and 9 don't work properly but it's just sometimes.
My side buttons don't work (it sometimes takes like multiple times of pressing to work or just pressing hard) do you think breaking it down and rebuilding it like you did in the vid would benefit me
