I have only just started working on my own cars ( I have been into cars all my life just never had confidence or the right car to start on ) I have a mk6 gti and just last week did the following Service all fluids and replace all filters Put a cold air intake on from Intergrated engineering High pressure fuel pump and cam follower upgraded to Audi R8 plugs and coils replaced coolant expansion tank as old one cracked Bilstein B4 shock absorbers all around including new dust boots, mounts and bump stops Upgraded to powerstop evolution sport Z23 pads and EBC slotted rotors replaced anti roll bar with one from a mk6 R and do sway bar end links and bushes for sway bar I sounds like a lot but for someone with little to no experience I must say I thoroughly enjoyed working on the car, the HPFP was the easiest thing I have done.
Video quality is much better with the new camera👌🏽I think the OEM wheels in the original finish would look nicer than the RSRs, but for an all black wheel they definitely look really good.
Another awsome video! I'm a scirocco fan and so it's great to see you restoring one 🫡 those alloys though I'm not a fan of 🤔 I would restore the original ones back to silver but I know its each to their own 🙏🏼 keep up the good work!
That gap between the bumper and wing is due to the bumper being pulled and it pulls the metal on the wing. You have to straighten the metal on wing for it to start sitting right. Loving the builds.!!
Autoglym Tar Remover will dissolve of the glue residue on the front bumper. DAB on, let it dwell for a few mins then wipe off. Might take one or two applications depending how thick the glue is. Wash with hot soapy water afterwards. 👍

Video looks better, but it could really use some stabilization for the handheld shots the video vibrating around can be quite jarring at times. Might be able to stabilize it in post by punching in a bit since you're shooting in 4k anyways, or use one of those handheld gimbles.
Great save, I wonder if that car originally lived in Scotland or somewhere by the sea as there's a surprising amount of surface rust on some of the suspension compontents for a 2015 car.

Great video as always. But new wheels look too small, think tyres need to go up 5 on profile. I’m not a Cadiz fan, so aftermarket’s for me. But maybe Cadiz look good refurbed
I know my Ed35 is more rare but I’m really wishing I got a facelift Rocco 😢 been looking everywhere for the dash gauges to see how they look on my car.
Does anyone know what website he used to see all the spareparts laid out like that? Haven't found anything useful yet, while trying to repair a Scirocco R myself.
It's great seeing this come together, fabulous work Hamza! I reckon go a new bumper, though easy to say when I'm not spending the money! ps. I'm not a fan of the Cadiz wheels, much prefer the pre-facelift Talladegas. I've heard that the wheels on the Sciroccos have a 10mm wider offset than the Golf 6R stock wheels.
i've seen a rocco with the RSR'S but spacers were fitted and they were a brighter finish, roccos eat up black wheels without being lowered...but then you lose DCC
Which camera are you using now? I'm guessing you're filming straight handheld for the most part. If this is the case then I would say maybe use the built in stabilisation options on the more active modes to negate as much of the camera shake as possible. The quality is awesome.
Can't say I'm a fan of the wheels. Love the BBS style but these are move convex shaped than the original flatter look or even concave which to me makes them look cheap. Love the series so far though and that 4k footage will look great in years to come when someone is restoring one of these 50 years later haha
Can't believe the lack of packing around those expensive headlights - just bound to get broken in transit (courier guys just chuck these boxes on the concrete)!
What are you doing with the splitter? would you sell it, looks like its not in the best shape but my scirocco would love it :) And the horrible colour Cadiz wheels i might want to buy them also if you decide not to re use them
The factory wheels look awesome, the others look cheap. What is the go with black wheels these days, you cant even see the design of them and especially black on black looks ridiculous. Great content thou, enjoy your work mate 😉

The wheels don't work on the Scirocco at all.... style and colour. Great work on the video...a little too much wobbly camera?and slow down a bit... your talking like your on +1.5...😊
