I'm glad you know what you are doing. I have a 4L60E transmission and after watching a ton of videos on how to take apart and how to reassemble, I decided to not even try 😆. Keep up the great work and content.

It looks in the video like the input shaft bearing is on backwards. I think the retaining ring has to be further forward leaving more outer race contact with the case.

We followed the manual on how it is supposed to be set but I will look back in the manual before next video. Thank you though!!!

I’m about to do the same transmission for my 64 c10 and all my gears are gone did you have to source replacement gears and if so where did you find them from what I can see they aren’t made anymore

Thank you and they are little small rollers we have to stick in the end of the countershaft. We are not looking forward to that at all

I just used a razor blaze for the most part and it took forever. And no worries. We are here to help anyone. We hope the videos have helped.

There's a special seal puller tool that makes it much easier to pull a seal without all the struggle...

It probably could have but we weren’t sure of the condition so we decided to rebuild and know it’s good. Plus it’s a huge learning experience

@@RESTORATIONRESCUE For sure you will have a brand new truck when it's all said and done. I have a 65 C10 in similar shape. Needs pretty much everything so these videos are a great help.
