I just got this done on my ‘22 450h+. My dealer had to order parts so they had my vehicle three days. Glad they got this service done though because obviously I don’t want a fire. We had two weeks of very cold weather recently so I was charging under the temperature threshold
I am getting it done today and it's Jan 18. Was told it's 90-120 min service. Coincidently I was in dealer for oil change a week ago and they did not bring it up, then called that evening to remind me the safety recall. I am in MD.
Good that they reached out to you to get it done. It's possible that they had to source the parts from Lexus in order to get it done. Glad to hear you are getting it done.
P.S. The dealer called us to schedule the recall repair, but that was after we called Toyota several times and got a link to submit gasoline receipts in lieu of being unable to save on gasoline costs by recharging the Rav4 Prime. Also, the replacement dc-dc converter does not speed up the charging time so the replacement part is not one of the converters installed in Rav4 Primes after May 2022 which have the fast charging converters like our 2023 Rav4 Prime.
The converter is not the charger. There are two speeds 3.3/6.6. It wouldn't change your charging speeds. My NX is equipped with a 6.6 kWh charger, so it's the faster charger already.
I logged into the app, and it indicated no update... I refreshed, and it updated and is now indicating a remedy available and to contact my dealer. Thanks for the heads up.
As long as you are satisfied. The number of moving parts were different with the 250 vs 350h/450h+. They all could have different issues but this is a recall on a manufacturer issue and not a reliable issue.
