Looking back at this, Its like most countries decided that 2016 is the year they all send incredibly high quality entries, ESC was just phenomenal song-wise, no other year had me liking this many songs and almost 7 years later, they still sound as good. The stage design is also one of my favourites Germany getting last and Australia almost beating all of Europe is still just insane to me
In my opinion, idea of Eurovision is to get vision how wonderful each country can be. This year we got: - spectacular show from Russia, - magnificent voice from Australia, - touching emotions from Ukraine, - fashionable style from Bulgaria, - tender feelings from Austria, - fascination of moment from Lithuania and a lot of impressions from other participants! Thanks for your hospitality, Sweden! Greetings from Ukraine!
What I feel like is that... yes diversity wise it is in terms of songs... but they are all within that spectrum of songs that seem made for the eurofans... hence why I love this year. In more modern eurovision years, it seems like diversity seems to be made as something that is made for everyone except the eurofans...
I think you got this the opposite way. 2022 was a diverse year where almost every song was awesome, while 2016 was a year when half of the songs were boring Swedish songs that didn’t make it to Melodifestivalen. Such a boring year, if it wasn’t for SVT’s amazing job hosting.
Nah 2016 was really trash. Nothing bad against the singers it just was kinda boring and people who wanted to stand out felt very vapid and like they just wanted to go viral.
2016 was by far the most toughest competition so far the talent and was incredible most people had a brilliant songs 2016 was by far the best Eurovision in looooooong time

+Pablo Belen Trust in your artists and your country. I mean, look at us, 4 years in the bottom five and then we came 6th. Don't only focus on the points and continue to give us amazing songs to listen to. Kisses :-)
+Eurovision Fan France I trust in the Spanish artists, cause they're amazing, but we are a little bit tired of being underrated. I don't know what will happen. Amir's song was amazing, my top 3 :) Thanks

Russia was my favourite overall but all in all Germany should've got better I mean her voice is beautiful. Australia did well but not as catchy as Guy Sebastian's performance last year but all in all very good.
