Ok, I'm just gonna say that I plainly don't agree with your choice for Voldemort. I think Fiennes brought something to the role that can't be delivered by anyone else. He literally thrives off the evil persona of the characters he plays. It's a wonder to watch, and you'd have to find an actor that WAS Fiennes, or else find another complete wonder. Also, Madame Maxime is described as having dark black hair and the role-defining "olive skin." You obviously can't pick Gwendolyn Christie. She's literally the opposite of Maxime's careful description. I like Barty Crouch Jr.'s choice, but Barty Crouch himself definitely can't be played by someone who is purely "stern" as you put it. Beyond his strict personality, he has this twitchiness about him.... like he has done a thousand wrongs and they are all on the brink of being discovered. Kind of a PTSD thing. I feel like Diggory needs to be portrayed by someone who isn't purely "kind," but by someone who is exceedingly handsome. Basically, as it was put, Cedric was the hottest guy in the whole series, and I really think you need to bring that out as strongly as possible to have the proper effect. he was a "pretty boy" after all.

The Movie Goblet of Fire made huge mistake an on how the actor portrayed Madeye Moody. Although we get a real good Moody, in HP and the Goblet of Fire it is.... [Oh, SPOILERS! if you haven't read / watched Part4 of yet] [You'd be warned] ...it is really an actor portraying Barty Crouch Jr. disguised as Alastor 'Madeye' Moody. And you do not see this in the Movie. The Barty Crouch Jr. Moody is the same as the Original Moody in the following Movies. Yes you need one and the same actor. But the portraying should be slidely different.

Tenton Motto not to mention that British production companies have deep connections with actors guilds and colleges so all these “Im just gonna pick an actor that doesn’t exist yet” choices line right up with that. Not to mention you’d have more access to actual British actors since I can only think of like 3 American actors who can do British accents that aren’t completely and utterly jarring

Plus the books did take place in the UK so having it set in the UK makes it feel that little bit real

The American washing. See Ghost in The Shell, Death Note, Elementary and so many others. Most series these days are filmed on Canada, anyways. But I would like to see Warner partnering up with, I don't know, BBC perhaps.

To be fair I'd totally watch Downton Alley 😂 For the final few books, please please consider more diverse casting, especially as regards people of colour - it would be a HUGE missed opportunity if the films were remade without more diverse casting.

Well he is a little to young for this role. but he would fit for the role as Voldemort in the memories, that Dumbledore shows Harry. The one, where he steals the locket and the cup, or when he asks Dumbledore for the job as a teacher.

it was a low blow recommending daniel day-lewis it looks practically perfect in everything it does but I would still like benedict for the role and for the moody i still think andy sarkis is the right choice for the role I can see him bring charisma to all paranoia and moody grumpy without looking like he’s softening the character not to mention that I always imagined the moody as slightly lower than the others and andy's height for me would be the perfect height for moody not to mention that his eyes, voice and his own face would fall like a glove for the character

I think he wants to stay away from casting actors who have already been in the HP movies, even if it's a different role.

He said in the first video that he wouldn’t be casting any of the kids. Percy is one of the Weasley children and therefore would have been cast as an unknown actor starting in the first season. While he does have a larger role within the Goblet of Fire, that would just be something taken into account when casting for Sorcerer’s Stone.

David Tennant's portrayal is what made Barty Crouch jr. such a memorable character.

I'd give one of the cgi roles to benedict cumber batch as well, the way he just completely transforms into his character for the motion capture in desolation of smaug, mesmerises me, so he's my choice for grawp, and the Hungarian horntail, Norwegian ridgeback, Welsh green dragon and the Chinese fireball, although they don't have lines to speak or anything, he'd do great with the movement

I think Benedict can work, mainly because if they want to go into doing makeup and de-aging him in order to play both Tom Riddle and Voldemort, it can work. Like what they did with Ian McDiarmid for Palpatine in Star Wars. Though, if I was choosing, the role should go to Hugo Weaving.
