@relewis2011 Double Dash does seem to be missing a little bit of speed, but it's a great game nonetheless. You should get a Saturn ASAP, one of my favourite systems. :)
Must've been a chunky paycheck this month Janne! That Dreamcast is beauuutiful! Wouldn't mind having that white Saturn either... And well done with Double Dash, certainly one of my favourite multiplayer experiences.
@devante11 Ok you got me. Old games don't hold their value. They INCREASE in value. I can see you are new to gaming, as you must be thinking about the modern era games that drop in value as soon as a month has passed since the release. But hey, let me know when you get your hands on Radiant Silvergun, I'll buy it for $10, as that's the value you put on it. That's not dumb, right? I can guarantee I play more games than you. That doesn't change if I also choose to collect games as well, sorry.
@devante11 This is so much fun that I'll feed the troll more. :) You sure picked a great video to "confront" me about not being able to part with any my games. You know, given that I say I've just sold something 20 seconds into the video. :D And no, it wasn't a plastic bag I sold, it was two arcade machines. That takes care of pretty much every message you just spent an hour typing, but thanks for the entertainment. :D
pal saturn games had the nicer boxes. i have started game collecting your started me off. i got few games in post this week. i got sonic 3d megadrive, toy story megadrive, sonic spinball megadrive and promo poster and robocop vs terminater megadrive.. great stuff
@payableondeath7 I only have a few GG games , but not even the console. I'd love to get more, maybe soon. I think the french pronounce it somewhere in between those, but a bit close to oo-bee-soft. :)
@devante11 You couldn't be more wrong. First of all, old games will hold their value through thick and thin. Just look at Radiant Silvergun, it's now downloadable for next to nothing, but the original is still $200. And like I said , I MADE money by buying up that manual for $250, as the game is worth more than the sum of it's parts. I could sell the complete game tomorrow for $500. Of course there's not enough time to play them all, but gaming is my first passion, collecting second.
@EddieXV132 Yeah, it was a tough decision, but I just didn't want to keep them in the family living room, what with the new kid and all. It's better this way, but I'll get them back someday. :)
Dayum love that dreamcast, i wonder if you will purchase the resident evil code veronica one, it looks fantastic so pricey tho :(, maybe when i win the lottery hehe! Another grand video!
@godxofxrock9 are you talking about the Doctor V64? It makes backup copies of N64 games on CDs. People that owned one basically rented games and saved them onto their own disc :p
@falloutgeek87 Oh, every single one. If you mean if I play them through, that time is pretty much reserved for modern games. Check out my Recent Gaming video next week on my thoughts on Deus Ex and Gears of War 3. :)
@devante11, actually I played the Nintendo as a kid..I'm only 23 years old. I do play the Atari 2600. I think I mentioned that I own 3 completely different models. Right now I am playing the LEgend of Zelda for the SNES *sigh,* memories... after I completely beat Super Metroid of course. I also plan to get JAMMA coin-op mods for the Consoles so that I can start my arcade cabinet. :). I just don't play every single game but I do finish the games that I play. :D
Nice to see that you already decided to use some of those empty GB boxes. :) Actually I wasn't aware that the Beckham Soccer got it cart inside as well, but then again it's a game that I have zero interest so it's all yours, lol. Didn't know about that Monkey Island release at all. Have to look into it since I guess it's not full price release.
@Posetus Limitedia luulisi nimenomaan olevan aika reilusti, sillä ymmärrykseni mukaan ensimmäiset myynnissä olevat kappaleet pelistä ovat silkkaa Limitedia.
I think i might have the special adition of grandia haved to look but it looks diff :) Love that game to me the best rpg on the saturn ever!!,pity it did not come to the states on the saturn but altleast we got it on the ps1 :)
@TeamXR07 the claire red dreamcast is the best looking console ever made but its also one of the most expensive consoles as well (the leon blue dreamcast takes that crown lol) maybe one day ill have the £900+ to pick it up :)
More excellent pickups as always! :) I don't understand all of the hate that Mario Kart: Double Dash gets. I understand that it may not be as good as the N64, SNES and DS versions, but I definitely don't think that it's a BAD game by any means. Personally, it's my second favorite in the series with the N64 version being first. Some interesting looking Saturn games, too. I recently purchased Darius Gaiden (JPN), but I have yet to actually get a Saturn. Hopefully I will soon :)
have you heard about the Resident Evil limited edition dreamcast? They are pretty awesome, but expensive. Maybe you should look into those? ;) I think it's 2 or 3 versions of them.
man how dese guys afford these stufff amazing and they are like finding diamonds gems and gold gamers are awsum but i think he ill sell them allllllllll 1 day to billgates or tata
Et ilmeisesti Dark Soulsia hankkinut ollenkaan? Pakko myöntää, että on ihan kiitettävästi edeltäjäänsä hankalampi. Sitä Rajoitettua painosta on ilmeisesti vaikea saada enää mistään. Onneksi kusti polki oikean paketin perille
@devante11, umm I've been playing videogames since I was 7 so I KNOW what a gamer is. You can be a gamer AND a collector...unless you are a HARDCORE gamer of which they mostly likely don't care about collecting games. He just happens to be a very hardcore collector. Me, I just get my shit cheap. I bought a CBG with all GB Pokemon games with the giant gameboy case, light, charger, etc for only 5 bucks at a flea market. ;D. and I bought a Neo geo MVS with 8 game for only 100. I play that shit
