Most of these came from eBay. Everything is nicely displayed even though my game room is quite small, I just installed new shelves on the wall. Games are not an issue, but big console boxes and Collector's Editions are soon going to be...
Really great stuff as always! LOVE the box art for Tail Spin. Looks very similar to the VHS Disney movie cases from back in the day. Great memories. :) Was happy to see all of the boxed Game Boy additions as well. The Donkey Kong lands definitely are fantastic. LOVE the yellow cartridges as well :)
You have inspired me to start collectiong for the Nintendo 64, finngamer! :) I've recently started doing so. I'll start off with buying games when I can, cart only or boxed, and move up from there, improving the condition of the products I have when possible. Thanks for your videos!
Oh yes, there are tons of games that will never be worth anything even though they are sealed. I was talking about Nintendo's own games, which will ALL be worth something someday.
I think both are correct, they just mean different things. "Recently collected" refers to the collected games themselves, whereas "Recent collecting" refers to the act of collecting. But someone can straighten out my grammar if needed. :)
I have hundreds of games on my "wanted" list, but I'm not really actively looking to buy them all the time as most of them are readily available on eBay. But of course everything depends on the price. And naturally it's CIB?
i love those Donkey Kong land games they are great! and like you said a very technical feat to get them onto a gameboy cart. i think rare really did an amazing job with those!! i have one of the color n64's i have the green Donkey Kong Set. i really should have bought one of each back in the day..lol
Great video fin, thanks! Me & my partner are collecting the colour N64's currently have green boxed purple grape & aqua blue ones unboxed, really hard to come by in the wild.
good luck getting the funtastics man i'm going for them myself the fire orange and smoke black ones are really hard to grab, i'm happy to have gotten a fire orange boxed pretty cheap so good luck!
Isn't that Flintstones game pretty rare and expensive especially in that condition? Metroid 2 is one of the bests in the series in my opinion, atmosphere is just great!
I've noticed in your videos that PAL games have a number on the bottom left hand corner of the cases. Would this be the age restriction? If so, does it vary from North American ratings? I've seen cases where gore, nudity, etc. has been censored in Euro versions of games and i'm curious if age restrictions are different based on content.
Nice video Finn. I have a question: is the phrase "Recent collecting" grammatically correct? don't you mean "Recently collected" ? which I think is more grammatically accurate.
Nice Video. I really like what you do. And I really like your english (btw. mine isn´t better) with all the eeehhhhh´s and aaahhh´s when you are looking for the right vocables. Reminds me on a squeakig door sometimes. ;-) How many Games do you own by now? And thanks for the retrogamefreak link. I was looking after such protectors. I just ordered some.
I'm sorry, what did you wanted to ask? I can't possibly answer all questions on all my videos, so I might skip some messages that I have already answered to someone else.
yea!!!! VIRTUAL BOY ALRIGHT!!! nice pick up mate.. i love my VB so much.. got all the games except for 3d tetris and the "big 4" really rare japanese games.. which i doubt ill ever go for.. how much did you get your boxed vb for?
Hei Janne, if I'm correct, the site you gave (retrogamefreak) is accepting non packaged games for money or just regular donation? because google chrome barley translate it and I can't really understand what they write in the "Inkoop / Sell yours! " . So if I'm correct, what I need to do? (Where to send it and all that kinds of stuff)
Yeah, check out the site pegi.info for any game you like. There's the age restriction and content classification for each game. (Violence, bad language, horror, stuff like that.)
I would have sent a claim with Ebay if i had received any games that got squashed during delivery. As much as the postal service is to blame for that the seller i feel has some responsiblity of making sure fragile items like that are well protected
Sealed games don't always go up in price, I just order a game on-line for 8.00 brand new sealed. Ps1 Machinehead yea, I know.. not to good of a game but I like it, Anyway you get the point?
Games are not an issue? Well my game room is about 10ft by 14ft with 6ft by 3ft closet.I'm out of room already! ..Anyway, My point is if you can't display them? Why have them in boxes? Will you get to that point?
I don't like PAL game boxarts, I like to see just the rated E or Rated T symbol. dont like seeing the orange box at the bottom left. But that can't be helped since wii's are region locked
mää kyl todellakin ymmärrän kaikkien vanhojen konsoleiden (snes,nes,nintendo64 yms...) ja niitten legendaaristen pelien päälle :) ja vitut grafiikoista
who cares if its grammatically correct!! you know what he means, right!! And cut him some slack, how much finnish do you know?? Anyone, nice vid finngamer ;)
