One big reason I like your channel is that you don’t try to “ham” it up for the camera lol You don’t do any weird after effects or any silly sound effects, you don’t do any dorky voice overs or zoom-ins. It's really cool that you got a review code for Ryza 3, it's exciting how big your channel is getting. Don't forget about us when you have a million subs. can't wait to see your review on Ryza 3 the game sounds great. It's disappointing that the Ryza 3 LE art book wasn't localized but the quality looks outstanding, judging by the sounds the paper makes i bet it feels very nice to touch 😆 Watching you unbox the Azure LE reminds me how much I love the game and seeing KeA on the reversed cover art brings back a lot of emotions thanks for the fun video and showing off your latest additions, hopefully there won't be a surprise JRPG physical release tomorrow

With how things have been going, a new JRPG physical announcement isn't out of the question. I've been seeing those recent Skies of Arcadia remaster rumors lol. And the paper/print quality for the Ryza 3 art book is really very nice! Just wish it was thicker 😂 And ahhh I can't wait to dive into Azure soon :)

Rift Apart came bundled with my PS5 and it was my first ever Ratchet & Clank game. The playthrough was very fun. Getting the platinum trophy was less fun but I guess that's my own fault for going for that. Later on I also played the Ratchet & Clank game for PS4. If you end up getting a PS5, then you could play that one as well, since PS4 games are also playable on PS5.

I love the pickups! That acrylic stand looks great! I have been playing Trails to Azure, and it is very good so far! Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart is a fantastic PS5 game the graphics are so colorful, and jumping from level to level is so smooth! I hope you have a good time and enjoy your pickups for the month!😁

I also ordered the TotK OLED! It releases 3 days after my birthday, and 4 days after I start a new job so it was a gift to myself lol. I’m super excited to see how nice the OLED screen looks. I’m going to reserve judgement on the styling until I have it in-hand..

You’re killing me here in making me want to hunt down these Collectors Editions late in the game. 😂 Both Trails and Ryza look so good, I really wish I had the time and attention span to invest in the Trails series. There are just so many in the series but it’s good to know that I should start from Zero. Great pickups overall Emily, I hear so many great things about Ratchet Rift Apart. Next time I catch it on sale again I’m going to have to snag it. Not sure how I feel about the Zelda OLED, guess I expected more gold but it doesn’t look too bad. Just glad I wasn’t a big Zelda fan to begin with.

Thanks for the lookout ! I almost forgot about Trails To Azure. Just called GameStop to make sure they had it in stock in there and I'm going to pick it up! Not going to double dip on this one. I actually triple dipped on YS VIII. I have the Collectors Edition for that on PS5 (had to get it when NIS announced it), then I have it digitally on PS4 and I have the physical Vita version as well.

Trails is such a treat! I too got my Azure LE Box for switch this month. Currently playing though Zero. I do have to say however, I recommend playing the Sky arc first before Zero. It's not required in my playthrough however there's enough Easter eggs/cameos so far to make the two arcs connect. I'm sure I'll get those CS connections as well later in my Crossbell playthrough.

Yeah the best way to play Trails is starting from the beginning but the PSP, steam or modded vita versions are not always super accessible. And if someone only wanted to commit to a game or two I think the Crossbell duology can be a good way to test out the waters.

For March, I've been picking up some of the last remaining Genesis games on my wishlist, as well as my most anticipated game of the year, Resident Evil 4 Remake. As for March, the only game i have on my radar is Advanced Wars 1+2 ReBoot Camp.

Lol, the ending has me hyped and your stellar choice in games never fail as Ratchet truly demonstrates what the PS5 can do and i'll leave the surprises for you to unfold (be it the console system itself, to the game + dualsense joy!). As always another stellar video Emily, looking forward to hearing your thoughts later down the line about Azure, Mercenaries and of course Witch on the Holy Night and Yurukill! Also, as for the OLED i am genuinely not feeling the design lol.. Like the joycons in particular look, i wouldn't say awful, but not good either lol, the dock is gorgeous though, and pro controller alike! Glad you were able to snag the OLED for yourself though :)

I think after I binge Azure the next steps will be to finally purchase one & a nice monitor 😄 Yeah I'm still a little torn about the joycon design. Part of me is hoping I like it more in person, or it'll grow on me. But if not there are always cases to cover them up lol. At least the dock & back look nice 😅

Happy to watch another video from you! Your collectables in the background look really nice. It makes me want to collect more than just games, maybe ill start getting those collectors boxes. Those little cut outs and cloth poster for Trails Zero/Azure....very tempting. Since you asked, I played Trails from Zero the last month along with Dragon Marked for Death and a little Monster Hunter. The reviews of Trails from Zero were spot on, it really was a great game. Because of that, I just picked up Azure and will be playing that in April. Azure was not easy to find in the wild btw, took us like 10 stores to find. AS for pickups, I got a ton of new games in March! Every year my friends and I have a get together and we surprise each other with a few games. Plus we go out game hunting, which adds to it. I think in total it was 18 games 😂, my favorites being Trails to Azure, Eiyuden Chronicle, Tinymetal, and Cross Code. Oh, and that 18 also includes my limited run blind boxes.... not spectacular but not bad. Hope you have an enjoyable April!

I preordered the Tears of the Kingdom OLED as well! I don't have an OLED yet, just the release Switch. Last year I told myself I would get a Zelda OLED to match my Hylian Shield 2DS XL if they ever came out with one. And here we are :D I really like the design! The Dock and backplate are amazing! And I like the Joycons separately as well. I do wish the front plate matched the gold on the joycons front and the back plate matched the white on the back. I even ordered the white PowerA grip with Zelda on the center bar to play the new game, and to display the joycons later.

Wasn't aware that Ryza 3 had a special edition. Probably just going to get the game on its own since that's what I had planned for. I am also someone used to waiting long times for Limited Run Games releases - my March pickup for them included TMNT Shredder's Revenge (again, just the game, no special editions), which I think I had pre-ordered almost a year ago. As for April games, I'm mainly looking forward to finally getting Advance Wars after it had its own year long hold-off on release.

I wish they stuck to teal as their main color scheme for the TOTK Switch Oled Edition. Teal was basically the main color scheme for BOTW. I guess they had to rule it out since Link is no longer wearing the Champion's Tunic in TOTK.

Somehow I didn't realize there was a PS4 collector's edition of Trails to Azure. Like you, I also feel that the Trails series is worth a double-dip, so although I already own the standard PS4 game, I'll definitely be picking up the collector's edition!

The best line of TVs to pair with a PS5 are the LG OLEDs. Their C Series is the sweet spot for value and quality. This year's model is the C3, but they only incrementally change each year, so getting last year's model, the C2, is a great way to go right now because it is basically the same and this is the time of year when the price goes down on the previous year's models. Best Buy has the 48 inch LG C2 for $950 and the 55 inch LG C2 for $1200.

i thought i didn’t like the zelda controller at first glance because of the white.. but the design is so dope and on second thought having that contrast of color makes it very noticeable which is nice.. i’ll try to get it for sure. nice ryza le. twas sold out when i tried. looking forward to your extensive discussions. excited for grim grimoire le

That Trails of Azure special edition is really nice, haha! Always love when NIS gives us a nice sturdy outer box. Great pick ups though Emily! Glad you were able to grab the OLED Tears of the Kingdom, that OLED screen made such a difference for my handheld switch play time personally. I'm sure you'll appreciate playing visual novels more with it too. I will say when it comes to the special edition joycons, the color scheme is a little weird, but I've decided to look at it more as Xenoblade 2 Mythra color scheme haha. 😅

Awesome pick ups! I also was able to preorder the OLED Zelda model! I really like the nunchucks that pair really well with the joycons. As for the controller grip i feel like they should of done it a green or gold color to match the rest of the console. Overall pretty excited for the release!

Lovely pickups! I will get Ryza 3 at some point but I still have to finish Ryza 1 and Ryza 2. So much jrpg backlog for me right now lol. I think you will really like Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart! Rift Apart looks great on the right screen. Go for something with 4k, HDR, and 120 hz VRR. The higher frame rates are so fluid.

Naturally I grabbed the PS4 collectors of Azure as well... Gotta keep them steelbooks matching!😅 But yeah, I've also got the Switch standard edition to actually play. I'll be looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Ryza 3, though I still think I'm gonna go back and play through the localized Ateliers in order rather than picking up with the Ryza trilogy... Or play enough of each to figure out if I enjoy that particular entry, at least. (Trying to get better about abandoning games if they don't catch my interest. It's a struggle; I end up sticking with games I'm not even enjoying sometimes.)

Lovely unboxings Emily! Regarding the Ryza LE's quality, KT's Western LEs are nowadays identical to the Japanese LEs they release at retail over there. all they do is swap out the game and outer box. That's why the artbook is untranslated and the outer box is flimsy.

Those collector's editions are nice. Waiting for my Ryza copy to get to me. I got into Legend of Heroes because of you and some other youtubers. It's been something getting them and catching up on the universe. I'm slowly playing through Zero. Can't wait to hear your reviews. 👍

Love these limited editions! I haven’t picked up Trails to Azure yet just because I haven’t played Zero. I’ll definitely grab it soon before it gets hard to find. I literally beat Fire Emblem Engage and went with Octopath 2 as my next rpg. Waiting on my copy of the first Ryza game. Heard great things about the series!

Nice Pre-order pick up. I also just got my Atelier Ryza 3 and can't wait for the Disgaea 7, that CE edition looks pretty nice. Also Something I want to mention but have you checked out the RECORD OF AGAREST WAR - 15TH ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION, over at the Aksys games store. Deffinitly something I am going to be picking up.

I really like the look they went for Disgaea 7 as well! The CE looks really nice. I've been eyeing the Record of the Agarest War remaster but I'll probably just get the standard edition. The limited edition looks really nice but I'm trying to save on space haha.

Ratchet and Clank are always a joy to play. You're not the only one who skipped the PS3 era. I only got to try a few titles long after they were released like GTA 4, for example. I hope you enjoy those pickups when you do get to play them, Emily.

ii got all the Ratchet & Clank games on PS3 and PSP (didnt play them all doe). Rift apart was also my first choise when i bought the PS5 2 years ago, back then you had to choose 2 games in a bundle.....the other one was ark Souls (the graphics on both are incredable)....im currently playing the remaster of one of my all time favories, which is Dead Space....and also Tales of Symphonia remastered on the switch

I like the new oled...dock lol. The rest isin that appealing. I picked up little witch nobeta this month. Released 3.7 in US I believe. Theater was definitely my fave pickup this month. It's like lollipop dark souls lol

The European Ryza 3 premium box has a different and sturdier outer box, the rest is the same. I found it strange too why they didn’t translate the art book. Great video as always!

I bought the first Atelier Ryza game a while ago, but I haven't been able to try it out yet, and I wanted to see if I like it before commiting to buying 2 and 3 since it's my first Atelier game. I was only able to pick up one game this month besides my Xenoblade 2 and Torna arriving, and that was the Resident Evil 4 Remake, which I also haven't gotten around to playing yet. Ratchet & Clank is one of the other PS5 games I really want to pick up since I really liked the PS4 game. The only pre-order I have on the war currently is Ys IX Deluxe when it releases for PS5 in May. The coloring of the Zelda switch seems kind of off to me, since all this time I've associated special Zelda releases with gold and black instead of white.

Could use the skyward sword joy cons with the tears of the kingdom oled! I too am not a fan of the tears of the kingdom joy con design. But I’ve been wanting to upgrade my switch to the oled model, and this was that jumping point for me. I like the dock and switch designs, but the gold and green on the joycons clash in my eyes. The dock and switch back feel more understated, like they’d blend into the background but you could still appreciate it when looking at it. But the joycon colors seem to remind me of the gaudy print on my grandparents old couch. They stand out, but not in a good way. Nice collection, btw. And great vid. Looking forward to the Ryza review.

I just picked up a PS5 of my own last week after eying it up for probably about a year. Finally pulled the trigger on it when I found one second hand but still new in box. While I don’t have a TV that allows it to reach its full potential as of now, I’m just loving being able to play games that I couldn’t play on my switch. Side note: I already have a a backlog a mile long on switch and 3DS so it’s just going to get worse from here lol.

The combat and progression in the Cold Steel series is top notch. However, sometimes I just wish the characters would break that overly polite mold that they all seem to be in to make the dialog more interesting. I guess people are just more polite in Japan? :)

I would say that's generally the stereotype! Though from experience I only had very polite encounters during my trips in Japan.
