Dude FF by waid and wieringo is the best FF run ever!!!! Taking over latveria, the doom story with his new leather skin armor, and grimms death and resurrection. Dude its so damn good!

This Omnibus was amazing for me. It was my first F4 full run I’ve ever read though. Now I’m going down the line and reading more and more of the family. On Byrnes right now and I love it
I've read all the FF since Hickman's run (waiting for more to read Slott's new stuff), went back to John Byrne's and waiting for this omni to get here to read it. Pumped for it. Edit: John Byrne's is really good, didn't feel like a chore I ignored a lot of the descriptions. Fraction's takes place right after Hickman's and if you do that def follow it up with Astonishing Ant-Man Complete Collection by Spencer.

Nice review. Just reading this one now and only on the first issue that highlights Dr Doom. Am liking that issue. Looking forward to getting to the heaven issue. Would like to get to the Hickman stories but I only have the 1st volume of the complete tpb since I don't have Omnis. Waiting for the next volume to get solicited before I begin reading that one though.
Good morning Gem. As always thanks again for the vid to start the day! I'm a huge Marvel fan but, this is one title I've never got on board with, that includes The Ultimate FF. I've tried several times and the several reboots to jump on the title but, to no avail it's a title I no longer think about trying to read. Keep up the great work Sir and as always I'll be looking forward to the next video!
@@BowmansWorld well, it has been a very long time since I've read any FF, I may have to give it another try. Unfortunately I have become a bit of a marvel snob and only read certain titles, same with DC & Image, lol. I am trying to expand my 20 plus year collection in different avenues, different titles, independents, tpb's, HC & Omni's as I no longer have room for long boxes! Thanks for the advice and I'm sure I'll be looking into the FF again.
I remember when Mark Waid go on board the F4 title...waaayyyy back in 2003, lol. Couldn't read it then because I didn't have the money but eventually bought the tpb. I liked the run, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I will get the omnibus in the very near future. Because I love the F4 & to celebrate that Marvel Studios getting the movie rights back, I plan to get every FF omnibus! Did you read the F4 by Matt Fraction omnibus yet?
Im getting the hero reborn omni & that has some FF but i dont know if i really want to dedicate any shelve space or reading time to FF with so mush other stuff out there
Keep the Marvel stuff comin! Have you been keeping up on any recent X-Men? Or will you wait for X-Men Gold for example to be in oversized hardcover or omnibus?
Great video. I enjoyed this run but have no background with the FF. Would like to read the Hickman run but the Omnibus vol 1 is OOP. It would be cool if, at the end of your recent reads, you did a “if you liked this book maybe try _______”. Just a thought. I’m always looking to read new stuff and it would be interesting to hear your opinion. Thanks for the videos, keep up the good work.
Gem Mint Collectibles Yeah I heard that they were terrible, especially the Silver Surfer! I’ve only seen the first one and it was alright, but today if I watch it again it would I think it was retarded!
I really like your stuff but I wanna hear the why of what you don't like. So often do you say you don't like something and then never expand on it. Like why you don't like the Thing's dialogue, why you didn't like how Johnny was drawn, the arc with the Frightful Four. I hear you say you don't like something and then you move on. Why don't you think the Fantastic Four's home life and interpersonal relations are interesting? The lack of explanation makes these videos feel like less of a review and more of a brag that you have the book.
ThatComicGeek i appreciate that. Definitely not a brag that I have the book. This one is readily available... I thought i explained why I didn’t like Thing’s dialogue, that it was dated and he hasn’t changed since the 60’s... What a revoltin’ development, etc. I thought I mentioned Torch looking too cartoonish for my taste, maybe I didn’t. Either way, appreciate the feedback.

I suppose I mainly wish you would've talked about the stories more other than just saying which ones you liked and didn't like. What made the Doom and Galactus tales so damn good? What could have been done to make the Frightful Four story better? Stuff like that ya know? More of a re-view and not an over-view.
