Recent RS-918 review CW and SSB 

Great video John. I bought a RS-918 brand new about a year ago. It really is a great little radio. Mine does have the built in battery. I use it to do POTA (Parks on the air.). I go to several different parks on my Electric E Bike and have a blast. My antenna is a Pac-12 ground mounted vertical. I also use this radio to do portable FT-8 and FT-4. while out and about. DE VE3WKG AKA VA3NE. 73.

I did belive i had to use Cw-L on 40m band 🙄 no wonder i cant seem to get the decoder to work, i have tryed all the filter like a 1000 times now, the decoder worked ones or twice...but when it work it seems to work well... 73 from LA-M160560

Have you checked if your RS918 uses RD16HHF1 mosfets? What mcHF Board version?

Does this radio transmit in the CB Radio 27.Mhz band?

So are there very many images / birdies throughout the HF band?

What's the max TX ssb bandwidth and ssb receive bandwidth?
