This is my favourite sweet. After coming to Delhi, almost 30 yrs. I didn't get chance yo eat adhirasam . I followed your steps. It came out well. We enjoyed. Thank you Mam. You are down to earth person. You are helpful to others.

I tried out this recipe today and very happy to say that it turned out perfectly. I followed your recipe exactly. After frying out the adhirasams, I garnished them with toasted khus-khus. Thank you so much for this easy recipe which also turns out very well . ❤

I made this sweet just now with a bit of improvement. Wet the rice flour a bit and followed exactly the same recipe as shown by Mami... And with the first try I should say it's really awesome yummilicious and the softness is like the same traditional adhirasam. Thanks Mami, with this anyone can make this difficult sweet without any difficulty.

Madam, one tip for the complaint that the dough becomes tough the next day is, always add one spoon only of fresh curds and remix the dough so that adirasams will come out well for spreading and also will remain soft the next day after frying. Many times I had done it the traditional way only to find them not soft but crispy. I came across this tip and this has never failed me.

Aunty thanq so much for this recipe! I stay in London and back home my mother makes adhirasams for Deepavali and she sends whenever possible if anyone visiting London at that point, if no one comes then no adhirasam that year :( This is my favourite. After watching your video, I tried them and they turned out so superb. Offered it to Kedara Gowri too as we follow the Nombu, it's a true blessing. Sending Diwali wishes to you and your familly

I made it in a little different way, it worked maami, I sprinkled water to rice flour and mixed it like for puttu and prepared eera arisi maavu, then prepared it like the regular way. I will try your recipe and see.

I tried Instant Adhirsam today (I live in US) immediately after I watched you and it was falling to pieces in the oil. You think I have too much Jaggery? I use only measuring cup, Trying to figure out what I would have done. I have only Son and his family as well as myself do not make or eat sweets. After seeing your instruction tempted

Amma today i did this but turned out worst everything came like a biscuits 😀😀😀 as i was adding the flour it became too hard and started to become powered.... again i added hot water and the rice flour came out finally into a round shape didn't break while deep frying my husband liked it and said not bad my son named it as pappadam😂😂😂

@@purnimav you need to take only 3/4 cup of rice flour and only 1/4 of the cup your using of wheat flour and you need to use the same measurement 3/4 cup of jaggery . After mixing the dry ingredients with the melted jaggery if it hardens add only 1 teaspoon of ghee and then flatten the dough and fry it on medium heated oil . They might have crumpled due to more jaggery .

I have achieved a very good Adhirasam output, using rice flour sourced from Amazon. So one can easily cut out the soaking and grinding of rice step. Also, water content should be reduced, as one wastes a lot of gas, just cooking jaggery and water, to make it thick

I triedadirasam but ifaiked.first used 1/4cup water.it became like stone Next again tried increasing water qty but after. Frying like became like biscuit.what is the mistake i doe@@YogambalSundar

The recipe for adirassam was simply superb like most of your recipes. It came so well and earned my full family's appreciation. We could never try to make Adhirasam, badusha, mullu Thengozhal etc earlier the normal way. However following your valuable step by step instructions n ingredients helped us with ease of these tasteful preparations. Thanks a ton for simplifying the process.
