Hello, my friends! It's nearly mid-November, all of the holiday countdown collections have been shipped out, and I find myself with some breathing space to focus on the things that I haven't had time to do! I share some of those with you today!

34:56 - Shop News
All A Middle Earth Winter Holiday Countdown Collections and Day 25 items have been shipped. There will probably be some extra collections available in the shop later this month once I verify that all of the rest of them have been delivered to their destinations.
I'm currently working on all outstanding pre-orders I have currently have, so if you're waiting for something, it should be going out quite soon!
Again, Reciprocal is out and available in the FDW shop and on Ravlery (see links to both shops below).
I will be having an Inversibles update probably mid-week this week featuring Inversibles on bases I don't usually dye for them - Traveler sport, Cozy worsted weight, and my Linnaeus yak fingering. Watch your newsletter for that announcement!

Your new shawl pattern is very nice. I like the way it works with both solid/tonal and variegated yarns. I think you made a good decision with your crocheted cardi and I am really looking forward to seeing it take shape. Have a great week!

Thanks, Carol! The shawl is a relatively simple design, but it does work so well when you want the yarn to shine. I'm looking forward to trying it with handspun! And thanks for your input on the cardigan color choice...I'm feeling good about it, even if it means I'm going to have extra yarn at the end of it. :}

I have an opinion about Vlogmas! 🙂 I enjoy watching them but I don't need to see them daily. I understand that's the point, but I feel combining or skipping some days, or just scheduling every few days is fine. Maybe a more relaxed approach makes it easier? At any rate, you should do what suits you and your lifestyle.

I agree with you about not needing to see them every day. Unless they're maybe five minutes or less, it can really be overwhelming to watch longer ones every day. I'm still thinking about it, but whatever I end up doing (if I do it) will NOT be on a daily schedule. ;)

I love your colors for the granny square cardigan and agree that the 5 colors work together very well without the darker gray. I'm not much into the batwing/oversized shape and think that your plan to make it more fitted sounds like a good alternative. I'm so excited to get my countdown set! The tracking says that it's at my post office, so it should be here tomorrow.

Thanks, Amanda! I'm happy with my choice to limit the squares to my five original colors, and I'm hopeful I can get the fit to work out differently than the pattern has it. We'll see! I'm always up for a modifying adventure! LOL And yay! I hope you enjoy your countdown set! :)
