@@hanswerner5242 He does, but but @Daily Braingasm is not wrong, I'm not going to pretend to be a psychologist but Reckful has always been a bit of an attention seeker, if you followed him in the past you'll also know that he causes drama under the guise of "oh no you guys I didn't mean to call X out", he's done it a few times now so I cant blame people for not wanting to be around him. He's also mentioned the I'm lonely thing numerous times, but the problem is when he's around people he creates drama and then those people ditch him because he has called them out on some petty bullshit. Which in turn creates the cycle: I'm lonely > Finds people > Creates drama > People leave him > I'm lonely. I don't know what's wrong with him but he's 100% mentally ill and does need help.
This is what happens when you don't work a day in your life, don't get a higher education, never really mature, and never get called out on your issues and don't work on yourself. He has nothing to work towards, enough money to live, and he has a ton of issues that are just easier to ignore. He says he "doesn't want to stream anymore" but let's be honest, if that was really the case he just wouldn't stream.

Getting a higher education can teach you a lot, not just book smarts, instead he has sat inside and played video games. He has no goals or drive, going to school and working at real jobs might not always be fun, but it's a hell of a lot better for you than sitting inside, alone, playing video games from your teen years until now.
I wouldnt really say that he is lucky, sure he got money, but when you have no real thing to work for, everyone would get depressed, unless he actually do something, when i started working for real, my depression just went away. To have something meaningful to do every day. Reckful just sits in front of his computer all day and have a chat that says mean things all the time, anyone would be even more depressed then.
Yes it does. Garbage men, construction, etc. Those guys work HARD. Sure..they don't get paid in proportion to their work load but...they still work VERY VERY HARD.
It wasn't so long ago that i remember reckful going to Japan for the FIRST time and he seemed to be in high spirits but now it is sad to seem him going down this route, who knows how it will end but i do wish him luck.
thick skin is really just high self-esteem and the ability to be grounded. If someone tells you that you are shit over and over you don't get thick skin, you get broken down. Your skin gets "thick" if you manage to stand up to whatever is pushing you down and regain power which boosts your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Agree with the dopamine part. Reckful thrives on attention (as most do). His friends dont want to hang out with him because he's an unstable mess. People on Twitter/LSF and Twitch chat hating him so he feels underappreciated and threatens to shut it all down.
That is why I switched my twitch sub to Mitch... this is getting bad, Byron is just showing that he actually is a sociopath and doesnt want to get help. I feel bad for Becca more than anything.
@@dave-gc2kb Mental illness affects everyone differently and Reckful is obviously severely depressed and always has been. I've never been sure about the bipolar diagnosis but it doesnt mean that he's doing well and that he should be shit on.
Unfolded74 probably yeah. For us it would be insane, but Byron never had to work for anything. He doesn’t care about money.he can’t get any pleasure out of it. He is seriously mentally unstable.
The one thing I've always thought about while watching him, especially after he became increasingly unstable around when he was travelling a lot, is that he conceives life as simply a sum of all the pleasures he can pursue, and then complains that he can't enjoy certain things like sex as much as others. In particular I think Destiny was as bad of an influence as Byron ever could have gotten, because his life philosophy is exactly that -- hollow, and puts sex as one of the primary things he never gets bored off. Because of that he always considers himself a victim since he doesn't enjoy sex enough for it to be something he always wants, while in truth all men and women have varying libidos, and he is lucky that he can achieve any pleasure from it at all. It's like he never even considered that life might be more than just chasing ephemeral pleasures. Creating a family, investing time in a proper relationships, challenging himself with hard tasks, stopping to consider himself the victim etc. are all things I've never seen him even consider as all he cares about is pleasure seeking. I honestly think his mental state deteriorating to the point it is now was inevitable..
I agree. Hollow. He meets these gorgeous nice women and ditches them because they might hold him back. I have never heard him talk about any causes or callings he wishes to support. His game is one good thing for him but low and behold it is about himself and streamers and twitch lmfao. He is trained daily by his viewership that he is better than other people. Imagine you have a tendency to think about suicide from time to time but your brother actually committed suicide. Now every time you think about suicide you are reminded of that. That sucks. Also Destiny is a little poison psychopath gremlin liberal that thinks he knows it all. Philosophy is good and all but realize that the sum of all knowledge is greater than the human mind can handle.
I have somewhat same thought process with Reckful. He seeks to find a way to get pleasure, which always makes you happy. Only thing thats wrong with it is that he thinks too much about it. I got rid of all the shit by just having the mindset of "living by the day" and "whatever happens, happens." which literally makes me feel much better than trying to seek comfort and pleasure every day. I don't bother with relationships since I dont find the same attraction to the daily lifestyle of forever engaged people because I can already see what it would be like, but he has some kind of obsession trying to help himself so hard but always ends up breaking up because "i wanna live the way i want but i dont have enough free time" -mentality. Reckful himself listed things that you can do in life and he could make almost everything possible but he just cant seperate between mental and materialistic things.
this isnt a mental breakdown, the dudes just depressed and honest about his feelings. Im sure many streamers have these thoughts but dont actually say it to their stream bc they need money. Instead of calling him mentally ill and making it worse, suggest to him to maybe go out and help some people through charity. Find a purpose other than streaming if streaming really makes you that unhappy.
Reckful is bipolar any of his fans who have followed him awhile know that his happy points are temporary and eventually... a month or a year or many years down the line Reckful will start thinking the same way and take a break. Streaming itself doesn't make him unhappy.

1:40 this sums up a repeating sentiment on several of his streams even way past this stream. It repeated for years, people will say that he was just being manic. I don't think so. He has mentioned this during all different kinds of moods, he felt alone.

Even if i don't agree with Reckful I think being in the spotlight can be really tough, and reading some comments here I get him, like how would you feel going to work everyday and all you hear is trolls i know its the internet and maybe its not the right place for him but he's been a public person for as long as i can remember, cut him some slack he definetly deserves to feel better if you dont like him just look away, if you do like him support him and give him some love i think thats what he needs right now, dont be so fucking rude please..
Reckful is very intelligent, particularly in a mathematical sense. People with a "mathematical mindset" especially when they're on the autism spectrum have a tendency not to understand and feel the need to discover the meaning of life or at least what they're supposed to derive from it. This lack of understanding can lead to symptoms of depression, particularly existential depression. It's like having an unsolvable puzzle infront of you but you're forced to complete it. Most people fill that void with "drive" most commonly, the pursuit of financial gain or social interactions. Because Reckful is good with investments and still has a successful stream, the pursuit of money isn't there. He mentioned that a lot social connections ignore him which doesn't help and being a streamer would be very disconnecting since you're "talking" to all these people who know you but you have no idea who any of them are. Would create a "talking to a wall" type of feeling. That's how I see it anyway.
