i dont think they have the brain power to think about who the slayer is and how many he has killed. all they know is that they are tasked with killing the slayer. you might notice that some looked terrified while being glory killed. maybe they only just break free from their mind prison and realize its all over when the slayer is about to break open their skull.

agreed 100% i feel people were fanboying for mick too much because levy and hulshult absolutely killed it with their tracks. i actually like the DLCs tracks more than most of the base games save for metal hell, hell on earth, and icon of sin. those 3 never get old

@@kyle21843 Mick made the genre, Andrew changed it to a less electronic and moje djent style. They are bangers and have the heaviest riffs ever, but Mick's music was more unique, especially in doom 2016, when he was constrained by Bethesda.

Hulshult has been doing Doom for a very long time. He knows his shit.

that's the thing is that I love Mick Gordon's soundtracks but when I play the game I love these tracks as well. They have done a great job on these DLC's and I'm not disappointed at all.

I like andrew's even more than micks

Andrew always has such a raw sound to his music. The tones he picks and his mixing, it sounds so much more rough, in like a good way though. Mick sounds alot more clean by comparison

Thanks to Doom this is now a rule of thumb for any game I play with a good soundtrack

Idk, I dont think it's "easy", I just feel the levels are more fun. TAG1 UAC map got old for me because it felt overly drawn-out (I'd burn out and wanna quit after the swimming section) and was like "OH MY GOD 3 CACODEMONS 2 BARONS 2 ARMORED MANCUBI" etc etc. Now don't get me wrong, I love killing demons like the next guy, but it didnt really feel "structured" to me. IMO, TAG2 maps are condensed, sweet, and more structured in the demon placement and types. I dont feel like it takes literal minutes just to get from one arena to another, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

@@rmhj01 tag 1 to me was pure hell lol tag 2 seems more open and was just better for me to do more maneuvers on the demons. Just really hope they continue with this version of the franchise. Or go back in time when he first arrived with the sentinels more more more

During the first level where a BUNCH of imps spawn, i got the message loud and clear from it "have fun". Sure the DLC is easy, but its FUN!

I cannot believe people think TAG2 is lacking difficult challenges. Some parts are mostly fodder yeah but Reclaimed Earth's escalation encounters in particular got me having 20 deaths, and I'm a regular Nightmare player.
