As a mechanic by trade, the one thing I would have done differently is to plug it in and make sure the part functioned, before zip tying and buttoning everything back up. Thankfully you didn't have a problem. Good job.👍

If you hadn't used that zip tie you'd have another flop flop flop noise to drive you crazy.

Engine auto stops are just more silly games caused by ridiculous environmental regulation. It allows car makers to game the EPA fuel efficiency numbers. All it does in reality is cause consumers more money in starters and batteries. If I were forced to buy a new car one of these modules would be the first thing I installed, just like Danny.

The stop start feature on cars is horrible.

While auto stop feature is annoying.. waiting at a Vegas light for 2-3 minutes to turn is even more annoying. Think of all the gas you are burning up idling and waiting at a traffic signal..

is it only 2024 cars with the push button with this auto engine stop? i'd hate to have it on as well, PITA if it shuts off while ur in the center median and u c a huge truck coming at u, u need to WOT

Danny, that is totally unnecessary. Just push the button in and squeeze a piece of credit card between the buttons. That will stop the start/stop. I did this to my Soul and no problem works great.

Does that void your warranty?

Did the video at the beginning not explain the issue? The ends does partially explain that you want the light on but didn’t go into detail at the beginning of the video of what was losing your sanity exactly

I was thinking your video might implicate you with KIA voiding your warranty too. I hope not. 😮 We are not looking forward to buying a new car with all these new features that we don't need

Huge Purchase mistake! You should have purchased a Toyota or Honda! You are having too many issues with the vehicle you purchased in a very short time after purchase! No one should have to deal with these issues after purchasing a new vehicle!
