Excellent treatment- so fortunate this man live within reach of top flight care! Most Americans live in rural areas- the access to this type of care is Zero. TYfor sharing 😢
A stroke or cervical instability? I do have cervical and lumbar stenosis. In 2020 I began having episodes one every other week and everyone of them occurred during the night when asleep. I wake up having all of the symptoms. No physicians here could diagnose me because they said there is no damaged area seen on my brain So I’m left just staying home to sleep them off. I had these every other week for10 months of these exact symptoms . It stopped a month after having a lumbar fusion in October, than started again today 9/4/21. My symptoms do not dissipate fully until the next day. Scared with no help! Not One Doctor told me to go to ED if I had these symptoms reoccur?
A year ago I had what think was a TIA and I went to the Dr a couple of days later and bc I'm young he just brushed me off and acted like he didn't believe me but luckily I haven't had anymore symptoms for awhile.
Find another doc! Even babys can get strokes! There are some good explainations eg.by Dr Berg or Dr Ken De Berry about causes and what to do on youtube.
Thats why I never bothered complaining about it to my doctors either. I figured they would think I was just mental. I'm 31 and am already showing signs of arthritis so they already think I'm full of shit ya know...
I’m in the same boat I just went to the ER this last week and they discharged me with “speech abnormality” I was driven to the ER in the middle of my shift at work bc I saw and felt the left side of my face droop. The doctor looked at me and said “there’s no droop” like I didn’t know what I saw in the mirror and my coworkers and partner saw when they looked at me. Idk man I’m young so I guess it’s FINE
How are you feeling now? I had a strange episode that could've been a TIA, from a nurse's guess. Getting an MRI soon to double check. Hope you're doing well!
Last night i had a real scare. Was watching a show with my mom in her room, i got up to look out the window and suddenly my eyes felt strange, i thought at first it was my cheap glasses messing with my eyes. I took the glasses off and then all of a sudden it felt like mostly my right eye was being pulled inward and i went completely cross-eyed, double vision, I felt dizzy and almost like i wanted to pass out, then in a few mins my vision cleared up again, but my mom saw my eyes and she said they looked like they were wobbling inward to cross eyes position. after that i felt like my head was tight and the whole thing then gave me a panic attack. So not sure everything i felt after was part of it or my panic. I have never had the cross eye thing happen with my panic attacks before. I can say it scared the H out of me. I recently was put on blood pressure and cholesterol meds after a recent blood pressure crisis. All the tests done and i got 3 bombs dropped from my Dr the same day. the last being they found a nodule by accident in my chest xray. I go for CT next week.
@@jrjr8574 yes. They determined the cause, a hole in my heart that allows blood to flow the wrong way. I had no permanent affects from the TIA and am scheduled for heart surgery on the 8th.
I wouldn't be alive today if I didn't seek help. I had four stents later a pacemaker the open heart surgery with a quintupel bypass. All with in 2 years. Doing fine now.
vegas aug 9 2021 vision slowly loss cold chills loss of coordination and loss of spatial awareness I had to be guided to a bed where I laid stiffened up for atleast 45 seconds to a minute I never went to the hospital I talked my friend out of calling an ambulance I don’t know what happened
My Dad passed out in the bathroom and I thought he was having seizures? He was rushed to the hospital and had more seizures (as I was told by Dr). So this means TIA?
About 2-3 months ago I felt like I had to lie down & sleep. I felt really bad but couldn’t describe it. Both my parents had strokes followed by dementia. I went to see a consultant & had a CAT scan which showed I had a mini stroke. He prescribed aspirin. I had 1 strange episode in our local shopping centre. I felt I was being drawn to the left as I walked. My husband commented but I was determined to walk as straight as possible. This was about 3 weeks ago. It has happened since but not to the extent of the 1st episode. I see the consultant in 2 weeks.
@@HeavenlysInterlude YT have deleted my comment? Thank you for your kind remarks. I had an MRI after this & given statins which made me ill. I did a bit of research in various places & now take Tocotrienol - part of vitamin E. It worked for me as I seem to have been OK since but I do not recommend taking anything without researching & speaking to your health provider.
Marita Cooks U wrote this 1 months ago, but i hope u see my comment 🙂 U said that u got all the symptoms, for a TIA stroke, than you NEED 2 go 2 hospital or a Dr close 2 you 🙏 Do not ignore the symptoms, it can get worse, if u not do anything as soon as possible. I am a former nurse, & know what i talk about. 🌺
Had one when I was 15 while waiting for a train. A few minutes after, I threw up and suddenly recovered. Never happened again during my life and I'm 38 now. Back then nobody knew what it was or even cared 😅. At the time, words were coming out backwards even though my inner voice was coherent. Some guy was asking me what drugs I've taken and then just walked off 😂... Thankful it turned out ok, even though I've never felt as mentally agile after that incident.
Did you make any permanent lifestyle changes?? Super concerned about my mate who's only 31 & recently went through one... I'm super scared for him because I keep hearing its a warning sign to a full blown severe stroke... heard usually youngest age to get it is in your 40s & that can alr significantly increase your risk of dying earlier
The trouble is some strokes don't have the classic symptoms. My 90-year old mother slept 24 hours a day and refused to eat. It turned out that she had several problems including substantial brain damage caused by a stroke. She also had a urinary tract infection as shown by the results of urine tests. Her pancreas was dumping great amounts of amylase and lipase into the blood stream. She also had oral thrush which made her mouth sore. It's not clear which condition appeared first but she ended up with all of these at the same time.
