Mod #1 for my 2020 3.5L EB was an Icon 0-2.63" suspension system with UCA from you guys and I have been absolutely thrilled with its performance both on road and off road. Mod #2 was Fuel Covert 17x9 wheels with Nitto Ridge Grappler LT315/70R17 tires. These fit without trimming or cutting thanks to the Icon kit. Super happy with this set up. Thanks for all your videos helping get these installed. Hoping to add an ADD front bumper some day...
It's something a lot of guys do first, if you've followed our channel for a while during the first stage of our 2018 budget build series we took a lot of flack for not adding tint right away.
Which borla exhaust do you recommend? I have a 2021 lariat with the 5.0. It sounds great stock. I wouldn’t mind waking it up a little, but I do a ton of highway driving, so I wouldn’t want it to be terribly aggressive with any kind of drone.
@@shanetate8754 Borla S is great imo, I have the same truck as you. Some videos online can help you determine what sound you are looking for. But for sure, stay away from the ATAK
I did the 2 inch levelling kit, added aftermarket rims and bigger tires, mbrp side split exhaust and tinted the front door windows to start. Cold air intake is next.
I did a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit, put a new K&N air filter and new MBRP Muffler and Exhaust on my new F-150 V8 2021 4x4. Do you all know if the complete K&N air intake is available yet? I could only find the air filter.
I went more on the performance side. 1) K&N CAI 2) Wheels and tires 3) Roush catback exhaust 4) pedal commander 5) Fox 2.0 suspension with Cognito UCA. It rides so freaking good and it turns all the heads
The husky floor mats have a big flaw in the fact that the ridge is not high enough in the back left corner of the drivers side for the F150. In Canadian winter even a small bit of snow melts then runs out of the mat onto the carpet but the door sill making a mess of the carpet.
I read the Max tow package limits you to 18” wheels due to larger rear brake rotors. Mine came with the sport 20’s and I would also prefer less rim and more tire lol
My next truck will likely be a 2023 with the 5.0. I don’t intend on wheeling it like a Raptor and keep it stock height and rake since I want it to be mostly a highway cruiser with the 4wd for light off-roading and winter driving. I would however like to change out the shocks for some Bilsteins to make the ride more comfortable.
Definitely a good video! I’m not much into the off-road deal but I replaced the factory tires on my ‘21 Coyote F150 with BFG KO2’s. Got a hard tri-fold tonneau that folds straight up if needed for full bed usage, definitely worth the investment! I put the Roush intake on and that woke the Coyote up a good bit but the custom stainless true duals and Flowmaster Super 44’s sound friggin’ incredible!! The ‘20 Rough Country neoprene seat covers are a perfect fit and the first thing I got was the Weathertech floormats, 100% worth it all!!
AFE air filter, DuaLiner bedliner {i actually use mine as a truck} Husky Wheel Well Liners and Cooper AT3s for the snow and a 1.5" leveling kit so nose isnt high with payload. The air filter got instant power gain and 1 MPG better. MythBusters debunked the myth of tonneau covers getting better MPG btw!
That's our camera guy/video editor Leo. He's the one making sure videos like this actually get made while Bill and I fool around and talk about truck stuff.
i wish you guys would put links to videos that you guys are talking about instead of me spending like 30 min trying to find the video you are talking about on your page
I went with rough country N3 coilovers up front and V2 shocks in the back. Pretty good value for money and comfortable. I was just looking for something a little less floaty than stock and gave me a 2 inch level. If I end up off roading more than I expect I think fox has a 3 inch lift kit in development I'd probably upgrade to.
It's true Dylan, it's a total let down but it's something everyone is currently facing. We do our best to hold stock of products and get them to your door the best and fastest way we can.
As a business owner my issue is not with your ability to keep items in stock, i cant blame you for something you have no control over. What i am disappointed in is the lack of communication. I never recieved tracking information for my orders and had to consistently reach out to stage3 to stay in the loop because they were not proactively communicating with me. Everyone business has had hardships this last year but that doesnt excuse poor service either. Thanks for the response.
Tint windows, tonneau cover, rubber floor mats, and maybe some kind of bed liner. done for me. depending on whether the stock Hankooks can handle the winter, I may have to get tires and wheels. we shall see
tint is always my first. 350 for it but its worth it. next like you guys said will be 5100's and a bed cover. never had either of the two so im just trying to do research
$350 😳 brah you got finessed, everyplace near me does 5% all around for AT MOST $150 and the prices go lower depending on the darkness. And the tints are super high quality
I got that black ceramic film. My guy has done all my vehicles. Never had any fade. He has cheaper tints but I go with the better quality. I could go with the cheap stuff but it’ll fade. Keep an eye on that
@@TheSotexy2 yes indeed ceramic tint isn't cheap. $525 for mine 5% all around and double 5% on back window and 35% on windshield no bar across top for me
@@TheSotexy2me too. I could still see through the back window that's why I told him to double up lol. On top of that the windows are cooked at 32-35% lmao. Now it's just a reflection 😂
Window vents, and bug shield! Nothing worse than seeing stone chips or bugs wrecking the hood! When you park, it's nice to leave the windows cracked to release heat or of it's raining and you want some fresh air. Nice list to start with 👍
@@stage3motorsports They're a class above the 5100. The 6112s should be compared to Fox 2.0 and other comparable coilovers, which are generally more expensive.
New F150, per your guidance: Floor mats (check), Icon stage 2 (check), Icon 17" wheels (check), Falken AT3 (check (we will see)), and Retrax Pro XR (check (beats your roll-up!)) --- All but the Retrax is from Stage3 b/c of this channel and advice from Frank/John...Thank you.
Husky's by far over weathertech. You can't get the later clean without, never tried it, some special application after washing them. You shouldn't need some special cleaner for your floor mats. Basic soap and water and a brush get the Husky's almost like new.
I have a 2019-f150-4x4-5.0 crew cab..10,000 miles..want to level it and keep stock rims and tires..no off driving..just blacktop..which leveling option should I go ..Front sits at 38-1/2 and rear is 40-1/2 ..ground to wheel well..thanks Tom
Timmy is right Tom, the Bilstein 5100's are a great option, but they're currently out of stock, we have great stock on these new Eibach 2.0's that we're big fans of www.stage3motorsports.com/e86-35-035-01-20-15-20-f150-4wd-eibach-2-0-front-coilovers.html
Since the 2021 F150 model is new to the market it will be some time before brands begin putting out aftermarket LED lights, but as they come out we'll do our best to install and test them all!
Just an FYI. At one of intro events a Ford Engineer indicated that with a leveling kit the 21 with be capable of handling a 35 in tire. I saw it in a Ford press release as well. My understanding is that the wheel opening is wider to eliminate the rub. Without a lift it is supposed to fit a 33 in tire.
C L, that was last summer at the time of the F-150 intro. Frankly, I can’t remember who’s video it was. I follow Ford, TFL Truck, Truck King, American Trucks, etc. all of the had a video. Start checking them out to learn more.
My local ford dealer mechanic said adding a coil over system is bad for the truck and that vibration would be detrimental too. How accurate is that and are there any cons to adding a 2.5 fox coil over system to my 2018 xlt?
I'd be cautious about suspension right now. Many 2020 kits will bolt up to the new 2021 trucks, BUT they are not designed for the updated geometry or spring rates so you'll most likely get a poor alignment or premature failure of other components. The engineers I've spoken to highly recommend waiting for 2021 specific kits. There are a few on the market currently, but the options will continue to grow over this year.
why is dude in the back being so anti-social, just chilin with earmuffs on? Is he a hitchhiker you picked up, who is trying to mind his own business?? 😄
It's not just these guys but all the people with new F-150's---boy I sure wish I had 70k+ to blow on a truck plus mods and then they go out and beat the crap out of them. Sheesh. Oh and don't forget the money to strip and repaint all the rusty areas on the rear axle and exhaust supports that Ford screwed up this year.

lol Joke is on you...2022 Tundra is being announced this month and will be available EOY. Joking aside, I was going to go with a new Tundra but am close to pulling the trigger on the '21 F 150 hybrid as we go camping a lot and the generator is a great feature. Your Tundra will last for years to come with minmial issues. I had a 2010 for 7 years
This is an older video, but listening to the driver and front passenger talk about security by leaving stuff in the rear when parked, they have peace of mind so you need a tonneau cover. So lets buy a soft one instead of one of those secured hard self rolling covers that takes away about 12 inches in the back. The dumbest thief wouldn't hesitate one second to slice away your cover with a cheap blade. No can do! rest of video is ok..
