Absolutely fine. A little prop wash when full throttle but worked great otherwise

There is threaded inserts there for moving the pedal drive steering handle to the left side. It's a 1/4-20, threaded insert. The same as a 1" ram ball mount.

The motor will pop up if you hit anything. I have the motor on foot steering. It's part of the Wilderness Systems electric motor install kit.

@@coylehman Thanks for the info! I have the 120 HD also and was thinking of mounting a small trolling motor on a custom mount in the pedal drive well and steering with the current rudder system. Looking at your setup, I wonder if I could mount the motor on the rear next to the rudder with just an up/down pulley(to protect the motor) so I could steer with my current hand rudder system. That way, I could keep the pedal drive in place. It's nice to have options.

@@coylehman Thanks! I've thought of using Newport vessels so I won't be restricted in terms of batteries. Did you give that consideration?

On my setup, I made a mounting plate for the trolling motor, on the back. You can make one out of aluminum plate or a plastic cutting board, etc. Make a backer plate, about the same size. Mounted the plate with 4 SS, 1/4-20 bolts and lock nuts. Yes, all 4 bolts are drilled
