Thank you, I’ve been looking for a way to straighten for patients when less than adequate positioning occurs. I’m a prn that only works 1 time a month at a facility with a GE scanner Home sight has a Canon, way easier to control the entire system

Thank you for your comment. I'm glad the videos are helping. I recall having some inside outside light videos, but now that I think about it... It might not be in English. Hhmm. I like using the inside light that way it zeros out and it's already where the scan starts.

Your axial and coronal reformats are different than any reformats I've seen. Is this what your radiologist prefer? BTW, thank you for your videos. I will be going to a GE scanner in the next few weeks and it has been years since I have been on one. Your videos have been very helpful so far!

I’m back using a GE. Thanks for the video. I’ve never done an axial how you showed though. Isn’t it supposed to be the same angle as the base of skull?
@RADKhammany
@RADKhammany Год назад
Base of the skull to bottom or top of orbits. Best as you can ... Some scanners don't tilt as much. So positioning is important. Have fun and thanks for stopping by

@@RADKhammanyThat angle at 2:48, I’m not familiar with that. What is that view?

Hopefully I will be able to one day. I'll keep it in mind and try my best to do so...

For the spine... go with the body of the spine and the processes. Use those as your land marks.

@@senaialem4022 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vm3Ys2CkmwA.html Hi, this video should help in centering for a head scan. Every machine has a different starting point once you start scanning. But the concept of centering is the same

Holy crap this is a lot of work! I’m currently working on a Siemens but have an interview with a hospital that has GE. I’m afraid I won’t catch on quickly! Are their protocols where all the planes (cor,sag,axial) are built in the protocol and all you have to do is adjust the lines or do I have to go through this for every patient?? Seems time consuming
@RADKhammany
@RADKhammany Год назад
Every facility has their stuff set up differently. Don't worry, I'm sure someone will train you and it'll become easier. It doesn't take long after you do it over and over.
