taken out during my welcome home ceremony for a lost ancestor to the shrine in the bush where I will be reintroduced to the spirits of my Balanta ancestry in Bula, Guinea Bissau
Shandara Harris got mines back today from my mother's side it says that I am 100% Balanta from Guinea Bissau... I am so excited... I just don't have any idea how to trace my roots back to find out more information
Received my African ancestry results as Balanta from Guinea Bissau as well. It's been a great source of pride for me. I just need to fire up my passport. I definitely need to visit West Africa, including GB.
Hey Family!! Urithi wangu ni Balanta na Zulu!! I am 8O% Balanta and 20% Zulu!! Much love Family! Much love! All Glory to our creator and our Ancestors. Ubuntu Ma'at Ase'🙏🏿
My father's mother is also a beautiful balanta woman. I need to go to this place to connect with the ancestors. I have to convince my father to take me and show me his mothers people that way they'll know I am her grandson. I wanna get deep into that culture. hopefully next year.
Balanta are not descendants of Hebrews. They migrated from Ta Seti (what is now Sudan) on the Nile Valley. The name of God in Balanta religion is Nghâle, not Yahweh.
@@tavaresoo1 you are correct brother. There are many Male age groups before finally going to Fanado. But abeneh (thank you), I will continue to make more so feel free to subscribe.
