Clay the addition of Stephanie on your channel as a full-time player is the best decision you've made for this channel. A woman's perspective is always appreciated. She's good at fishing and looks gerat in a bikini also. You two make me want to fold-up Camp up here in Chicago and move down to the Keys everytime I watch a channel.

Whenever I'm have a crappy day I jump onto this channel for some inspiration. We are currently living in TN, and when the kids finish school I am going to do everything in my power to convince my wife to pack up and head down.
Good show as always. I've just gotten my wife into fishing this year and she is getting better everytime. We've caught tons of yellowtail each time out targeting them and I keep trying to get her on a bigger fish. Nothing better than hanging with your wife doing something you both love! Just got back from fishing in Marathon. Caught a huge Mutton like Stephanie! We had Island Fish Company prepare it. It was fantastic! Funny what she said about being sore, my hand still hurts from reeling in the fish on Saturday!! LOL!!

Clay, if you guys ever have a down day maybe you could post a guide for traveling by boat around the keys. We come to Marathon every February and still trying to figure out where to go and keep the boat safe.

It might be the camera angle playing tricks, but in one of the shots it looks like you are running a 4 blade prop on the center engine and 3 blade props on the other two? What does that do for you? Just curious.
Did you guys weigh that Mutton? I took one like that off of Duck Key on a wreck. The captain kept saying doesn't get much bigger than that. Then I learned that 29.6lbs was near record and he meant that literally. I thought he was just playing around.

Why use a 6500 series Slammer for Yellowtail? I usually use my 4000 Stradic and slay the yellowtail. The 4000 is perfect for them and even if you get into a big Kingfish or mutton. But a 6500 is waaaaay overkill IMO😎
Couldn't help notice u threw yellow tail snapper on ice. Yellowtail turn to mush on ice, they need to go in seawater & ice to chill faster and more effectively. Fish will be easier to fillet and won't come apart when u do. Actually you should chill all your fish in seawater & ice. they stay fresher longer and easier to fillet. Thumbs up on the videos.

You get more meat from fish when you gut and scale the fish. Then cook the fish whole head on. I don't fila any of my fish because that's wasting the meat. I love a yellow tail n grouper.
the Last thing you need is to throw an anchor on a 40 foot boat! Can you say windless????? WTHeck! try pulling anchor from 200 feet? NOT! go invest a 2k bill and get one! If your drift is wrong, it doesn't waste the day pulling anchors trying to get nailed on the spot! LEWAR!
