I did not grow up listening to Kiss. But in the pasty couple of years I have been getting tuned into their music by fellow VC members Jeffery Rusnock and Johnny Hawk . Two guys who could write two books on Kiss. Those original pressings have got to be pretty rare by now Jeff. Original Kiss albums in good condition are always big sellers. ISB was a nice find too. Heck. All of them were good listens. Good to see that you met up with another VC member to which we share the same first name. He must be a good guy. {smile} I will surely check out his channel~ Rob/Boston
I know Jeffery well, always catch his videos. I don't believe I know Johnny Hawk. I'll search him out. Yes, Robs are great guys! i'm sure you'll enjoy his channel. Have a great week, pal! Cheers
Hey Jeff. Im so glad we find got to meet. I wish I could have stayed a few more hours and grabbed lunch but circumstances were what they were. I had to make the best of it. I promise next time we will do it up right. For a small show I was quite happy with my finds. My video should be up tomorrow. I had that Sweethears of the Rodeo in my hand but put it back.
So cool Jeff..glad you and Rob met up..I couldn’t make the Toronto meet up either..hope we can arrange another one👍cool finds, especially Sweetheart Of The Rodeo..thanks for sharing❤👍glen
Jeff, it has been a few years since I have been to a proper record show. Good that you and Rob had your schedules align for a bit. I really like that UFO album, and the Byrds. Thanks, Chris
Great stuff Jeff, most of all great seeing ya. Hope all is well with you and the fam. I have always liked the title of that onion psych record. God bless
Thanks Jaime. We missed you. Really hoping you can join next time. Rob is wanting to come to here to Orange Monkey. I'll keep you posted. Plus, perhaps a larger meetup in the spring. Cheers!
Great you got to a record show my friend! Last time I was at a record show was when I was a teenager. Would like to hit one next time they have one in Knoxville
Hey Jeff, I am catching this late obviously- cool idea a bunch of guys getting together - I used to have a few Incredible String Band albums and I loved them but that was back almost 50 years ago. Hope you are doing well.
Hi David. I stopped going to shows because they simply became too busy with an unfortunate amount of rude, disrespectful people. If you can tolerate that, there's candy to be had. I must say, people are better.
Happy to see you connect with Rob off camera! He’s top tier guy on YT and in life. Plus, some cool records you scored! Safe to say you’ll be back on the record show rotation again after this one?
Hey Jeff! Those first 2 UFO albums can be a shock to the system if you're expecting Schenker era like music. I have a show next Sunday, hoping your good luck rubs off on me.
Thanks Steve. On the contrary, I embrace the spacey, early UFO. Subtle psych licks to my ears, too. Great stuff! Here's to a successful show next week. Already looking forward to seeing what gems you unearth. Cheers!
That KISS ALIVE II is kind of a rare Pressing. That yellow banner "2 record set!" over the letter S isn't on most pressings. The booklet is correct. Original pressings came with rub on KISS tattoos. Cool video. Rob's a great guy. 👍
Say Jeff. I didn't know the band Renaissance so I had to look them up. Sampled that album I did. Keith Relf started them up I read after the Yardbirds. Too bad the meet up didn't go as planned, the breaks. Next time.
