Thank you so much explaining the flows. This is very helpful considering my work as a Salesforce consultant. I used to work with Process Builder and had very little knowledge with flows. Is there an order of your videos I should go with? I want to start with basics to advanced. Are you on Udemy I can pay for your lessons. Hi Shree, As you said when the account is created and if the Rating is hot then create the Opp with same name as Account Name!! You have Added a Condition 1) Rating is Hot 2) Rating is Changed as True !! This Works Fine when we update an Account but it stops Working whenever we Create a New Account (Because it doesn't have the Previous value of Rating) In order To achieve the Scenario we must Add a Decision element which checks 1) For New Account === Rating is Hot && Prior_Rating = Null 2) For Old Account (Updating the Field) == Rating is Hot && New_Rating is not equal to Old Rating!!

Combined with validation rules, a record can be prevented from updated, updated, or deleted using the Flow based complex logic without using Apex triggers. For the deletion use case, the validation message is among system messages, while it shows the validation rule error messages only for the create and update use cases. Flow is amazingly powerful! There is no need to use Apex. The only use case that Apex has to be utilized is to validate whether a file/document is uploaded, period!

In 1st scenario, you didn't check in Flow, whether Shipping Address is empty or pre-filled? Correct? It will overwrite existing data in that case

In scenario 3 if amount changed more than 10000 in discription need to add some comment ok fine it worked for me whenever i changed the amount value more than 10000 than previous value but also it is working (comment added in discription) for less than 10000. I followed the same steps in this video. Pls help me out.

Hi there please help me to solve this problem Create a 'Confirmed no. of mentees on all projects' field in Contracts & Pipeline object. For each Project related to a Contract there is a User Engagement related list. In each User Engagement related list there is a mentee record and a mentor record. We need to know the number of registered mentees on each project which can be taken from 'Total Registered Mentees' The 'Confirmed no. of mentees on all projects' field (at Contacts level) should contain the sum of all 'Total registered users' for each User Engagement record where Type = Mentee Would be great if this could be done using Flow builder -
