Sis! I'm on the mk2 and do something similar. When recording my bass including "the work" with the sample now instead of later. I thought I was overthinking; if so; I got ya! Thanks!
Hell yeah thanks for this. It clears up so many questions. I've been teaching myself finger drumming to go with my guitar and bass. Just got the mikro and I love it. Just been trying to get down a work flow 😩
Thank you sweet sister. All I was trying to do was how to learn from someone how to record the guitar thru maschine 3 and you help me in 5mins where as these geniuses want to sit there and explain in details how the interface works and twiddle their fingers on the box, and have their guitar running thru a synth. Ok but dang. You're the first female that's come thru for me thru you tube, and I am so greatful. I've had this thing for 2yrs now. Haven't had alot of time to dive into it cause it takes some time to deal with this as suppose to just jumping on a regular recording software like pro tools which I was using but now they want us to pay yr round with subscription. Not me. They cost alot, even maschine. When I first dove into maschine 2 yrs ago, Its got more than I could ever imagine. straight over kill. Was somewhat intimidated but I got over it now. I like recording live and if I can add some sounds from maschine, it's ok. Anyways thank you again God bless you in Jesus name. Cause you help me from spending when I dont need to. Ty.
Cornelius Wade wow so glad it helped. That's why I started making tutorials because of so many unnecessary details from teachers lol. I hope you've subscribed. I'd appreciate it.
How do you get the guitar sound into Maschine? Is the guitar directly plugged into the tablet, are you using a microphone that captures the sound ? I don't understand the physical wiring of all this. Thanks !
Having issues recording external audio. When recording to a group. everything is ok as long as in Ideas view. But, using the group in a scene in song view, the track doesn't start when it should. starts late and continues after the scene is over. I must be doing something wrong... Any help?
Question? How do you have interface, computer, monitors, plugged into each other? Or the correct set up? So confused with actual connecting guitar correctly. Thanks
The audio interface gets plugged into your computer via USB most are like that now. The active monitors are connected to your Audio interface's main outs in the back via TS (unbalanced) or TRS cables (Balanced). The Maschine Mikro MK3 she is using is USB, so it just connects to her computer USB Port. That's the basics.
Hi nice video! I have the MK3 and I followed your first beginning steps but I don’t have a audio interface , the MK3 does have ins and outs on the back like a audio interface so I plugged my guitar straight into the MK3 but couldn’t get it to work. I know you have the micro but I’m just all around new to this stuff and maybe you could help me lol.
Karl H thank you !that makes a lot of sense now! Do you know if I need one aswell to plug in a mic to the MK3? My hardware does have ins and outs that say mic. But it would make sense if I needed a di box for that aswell lol thank you.
