I don’t like wireless systems. Every time I’ve tried one I’ve had issues with sound.

I used an adapter cable 1/4" from mixer headphone output into the camera Mic input 3.5"

You could do that as well.

No. The plug in discontinues the on board mix.

You have to have a camera audio input then plug the external mix into it.

@@DebErney Thank you. I have no idea what you mean about external mix. I have a camcorder with one audio plug. I have a set of wireless lapel mics with a sender and a receiver. And another little device that could plug directly into the camcorder, but I would like to have a diagram on how to connect to soundboard and camcorder so all sound records from soundboard to camcorder. I am sorry, I am really ignorant about these things and have searched and searched online for info and can find none. So in desperation I asked you if you could help. You can only input a 3.5 input jack. The other end goes into,the output of a mixer. You cannot attach 3 mics without using something like a mixer.

Allen & Heath are the best mixers I’ve used. Behringer are really good at a good price point.

I wasn’t aware of a camera (other then the Zoom Q) that had XLR inputs. Check your specs to make sure.

You have to have an audio input.

If you have an audio input on your camera it should work. Watch the volumes.

It has two XLR/1/4” combo inputs and I think there is a 1/8” TRS input on the mic capsule as well.
