Why is Records Management important in the Philippine National Police?
- Since 1991 (PNP was established), records continue to accumulate and congest in the PNP offices / units due to daily filing of transactions, services, decisions and other work related activities. Without basic knowledge and skills in records creation, maintenance, use and disposal, PNP personnel may violate the law and lose important records
